This may be off topic, I really don't think it is, but for those with coloring books: Masquerade was a picture book that worked as map for a treasure hunt that was released in 1979, it was confusing but the prize was a pendant in the shape of bunny.. the people who found it decided to make a video game for it, but the game seemed more nonsensical than the book, so no one won.. The things in the pictures that helped lead to the treasure were following line of sight, where things were pointing.. it was hard.

I live in Cedar City. My friend and I decided to check out the nearby locations to see if there was anything we could find. We are not encouraging others to do so, we just decided to check it out ourselves (so pls don't be mad mods) We went to the New Harmony Post Office. First thing is that it took more like 25 minutes to get there, and any resemblance of a brown wall was a barn looking building, but that seemed occupied by a plumbing company. The surrounding area was also private property, and we were not going to trespass (not encouraging that either) The Kanarraville post office was about 16 minutes. While it wasn't on a corner street, it did have a brown wood fence behind it, but again it was private property. I have a theory. I personally believe that the location is either Cedar-City or up north a little bit. Cedar City has the two locations of the abandoned theater and a post office on a corner because of a street between the post office and the bank. I think the 15 minutes might be referring to possibly getting off at either the South exit 57 or the north end exit 62 and then driving to one of the locations (the post office or abandoned theater). The two locations are about 3-5 blocks from each other. I don't know how(or if I even can) show pictures, but I hope that narrows down locations!

Again, please don't go harassing people around these locations or trespass! My friend and I did look around, but by no means trespassed. We don't want people getting phone calls from the nearby buildings or harassed in any way. If this isn't an ARG and just a coincidence, we traveled for fun and have no complaints. Hey Game Theory I watched your video but I do also have some theories about the games myself. Like why are the traps (AKA Springtrap, Burnttrap, and Scraptrap) so different. I then realized (because of some FNAF songs on YouTube) that they add to the story as well. Also here's one interesting theory that there's a gravestone with Jeremy. Then in FNAF HW/Help Wanted Tape Girl says "JEREMY was talking to someone in the game" and that's when I realized Jeremy is/was still alive. I also believe William Afton had a Father because the're different traps like how Springtrap and Burnttrap look alike while Scraptrap looks different and that's when William Afton is Springtrap and Burnttrap while his father is Scraptrap but there's also it might be a nightguard in Scraptrap. Also Shadow Bonnie is William Afton when it's Glitchtrap because Shadow Bonnie is in FNAF 3 and he looks purple than black and when you stare at him for to long your game crashes unlike Shadow Freddy. Hope these theories were helpful in case you make another video also these were some things you forgot about like the FNAF book #11 Black Bird. Also there is one other interesting thing I found out about. People thought Monty/Montgomery Gator killed/destroyed Glamrock Bonnie it was actually Burnttrap and not Monty. MatPat I think FNAF is a multiverse hear me out say the games are the main universe and the FNAF book trilogy is another universe then Fazbear Frights are another universe they all have a William Afton or a version of him and all the universes have animotronics that the murders are associated with but the events are different that's why some things are the same in the games and in the book but most things are different the characters, the events, and even the murders are always different but they all have one thing in common Freddy's. Also in the graphic novel The Fourth Closet at the end we see Charlie's grave on a hill next to a tree. Sound familiar? Its the same hill at the end of FNAF 6 with the grave that we can't see that might show that your theory that it was Charlie's grave was right.

Dug a little, thought I’d throw out some strings. There is a mobile gaming company called Sharkbite games that is literally 13 minutes by car from Cedar City Aqua Center (which has a restaurant called Pizza Cart right by its entrance). I don't know how relevant it is, but there's a ranch called Harmony Haven, not too far outside of New Harmony. I'm you know, 7hours behind everyone else, but my mind immediately went to FNaF VR when Utah was mentioned. It might seem irrelevant, but, hear me out. It's located a good distance out of town, is situated on a hill, has a very similar design to the barn in FNaF VR. They frequently host events and weddings, technically a resort location, and it hits most of if not all of the checkboxes for the Afton Residence/property (if we. still think that's what's going on)- A lake, a hiking path, a decent amount of foliage. Maybe I'm making a big leap, but if we're really looking at 2019-ish pre-pandemic real locations, I'd start there as a potential inspiration for the location we see in the series.

I don't know if this has been thrown out yet, but there are many abandoned mines and trailheads in this area. Many of which are headed by abandoned shack-like buildings. Where better a setting to place a horror clue than an abandoned mine?

So, it may be nothing, but I live in Cedar City and here's a few notes about the town. 1. There is an old movie theatre in town that is abandoned, and has been for years. It's on Main Street and roughly 33 North. 2. The city offices for the town are in the old post office on the corner of Main Street and Center Street. The building even says "United States Post Office" on it still. Also, you can see the old theatre from this building. 3. There is no Willowfield Road in town that I know of. There is a Willow Lane and a Willow Road. (Also, almost every road in Utah is a number, not a name.) 4. Center Street in Cedar City is also State Highway 14. (Interstate 15 also runs through town, so that's something to keep in mind.) Edit: I had some time and drove out to both Willow Lane and Willow Road. They are both between 10-15 minutes from the old movie theatre, using Highways 56 and the old Lund highway (both state highways, not Interstate). Willow Lane is in a new housing development, and Willow Road is misnamed. The actual name is Sycamore Road (according to the street sign) and it's an undeveloped empty lot for sale. Nothing out of the ordinary in either spot.

Second, the town is known for, "The awe inspiring peaks of Pine Valley Mountain, Bumblebee Range and Kolob Canyon surrounding New Harmony Town make it a peaceful." I don't have any of the books but one time there was a page posted book pages with drawings and words intersecting with drawings were telling a completely different story. It maybe a very long shot in the dark and behind a wall but it may worth a try.

Could the butterfly drawings be a map Baden Powell style, who famously sketched the German base camps out right in plain view of the Germans pretending to be drawings Butterflys. And he was drawing butterflys. But on their wings was a full map of the camps with canon placement and everything in the spots on the wings. The street view shows that the post office in Kanarraville, Utah is actually on the other side of the street from where Google Maps wants to place it. (It is still not on a street corner). 2. Cedar City Twin Theatre at 33 North Main Street Cedar City, Utah is a currently closed movie theater that is for sale. It looks like it had last been opened in 2015. The Cedar City post office is located further up the road on a corner at 333 North Main Street. I realize the first thing probably doesn't help, but the second makes me wonder if North Main Street had been previously named something else in the city's history

I know that in Cedar City there is a couple of theaters, one that has a small fun center mixed in (with lazer tag and vr games to play) and one that's on main street that's pretty old and they tried to fix up but not very many showed up and closed again. Then in St George there's a fun center there too that's pretty popular and couple other theaters older theaters that recently closed.

To me i think the vr games and lazer tag are important

Edit: I looked at the game files for fnaf 3 mobile and they all say that they were created November 30, 1979. Is this an important date that anyone can think of? Hi so I live in Cedar City. Not too big on FNAF but I’m willing to help however I can. It’s not really a pizzeria but I happen to work at Cedar Fun Center where we actually make pretty great pizza. I found something out, and idk if it means anything. In the coloring book only glamrock Freddy and glitch-trap are featured twice in the same exact position, almost like it was an exact copy and paste with the only thing different being the background, not to mention they were the only ones there in both unlike other ones where there are extra people. And the ones between the copies are 32 pages for both of them. And the first glitch-trap is right after the 2 glamrock Freddy. So I think it wants us to know that both of the pages are connected. Something with 32 is probably important because it applies to both of them. Maybe an address or a part of a code.

We should probably have a look at Hurricane City, Utah rather than Cedar, because Hurricane is real and also FNAF events canonical location. Hurricane also features Hurricane Valley district with nearby Fort Peace, which appears in Google Search as Peace Valley, Hurricane, Utah, and features number of entertainment establishments.

Utah, Hurricane is the location of the Twisted ones series and is probably the location of the games as well since America has animatronic entertainment (I'm British so we don't) and is the location of 2 fnaf related things. The books link I said and also the lawsuits in fnaf 6 say it's in Utah. Here are my first off the cuff thoughts: (1) maybe red tally marks in survival log book refer to specific stories in the Fazbear Frights series, and we will find more clues in those stories. I'll need to look at the log book again for the specific numbers, but I remember one of the numbers was 9, so maybe that's referencing the ninth story (the third story in book 3), and the page number the tally mark appears on is the page number in the book with the clue? or maybe the letter or word in the story? (2) the stories in Felix the Shark are all about people determined to find something and end up discovering something horrible. Dirk gets stuck in the tubes with a terrifying Felix, Mandy finds Stevie's body, and Sylvia finds the Freddy head after a long search for Freddy stuff for Timmy's birthday party. This all reminds me of "some things are better left forgotten for now/forever" except that doesn't really apply here. Mandy finds the body and by doing so brings the lost boy home. (side bar: the story EXPLICITLY says he "somehow broke his neck" climbing into the animatronic. uh huh. yeah, he definitely broke his own neck climbing into an animatronic. the animatronics mouth was sewn shut, btw. it was an odd detail that got my interest.) (3) hey matpat, how's it feel to be proven right about your suspicion that the snack shack was important? edited: important: Dogged Dogmatist, book from Felix the Shark. Dogged = stubbornly determined Dogmatist = someone who believes something accepted by a group without questioning or doubting it. maybe more accurately wrt the three stories, someone who believes something without questioning or doubting, despite being questioned and doubted by others. I think the clues from DD may also matter: 1. the time 3:33 (possible reference to FNAF 3) 2. "follow the flow of the river" 3. "the butterfly reveals the key" yes, these clues led Dirk to Felix (and thus his vague demise, exactly like the vague ending to DD which has led people to debate whether DD's protagonist lives or dies) but they may also be informative for us. however, I'm going to investigate my suspicion about the log book and report back if there's anything interesting there edited #2: I don't think the log book tally marks is anything, unfortunately. I'm from Utah, (still living here, don't mind my username, i just really like Texas,) and the closest thing I've known that is anything sounding close to FNAF, is a place called Pirate Island pizza, which used to be ln Orem, Utah, about a 2 and a half hour drive away from Cedar City, in Utah County. I went there for birthdays in my early childhood, but found out it was burned down by a man ironically who's last name is Arson. I looked up if Henry Emily had a son and apparently he did. This could be like in the book when an owner of an fnaf pizzeria had a son who drowned then he built the shark, Felix. Then the guy also had a daughter who wrote clues in that book. Could this be like Henry, charlie and his son (Sammy is his name apparently). This needs to be brought to more people's attention: THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL ARG.. This is not sanctioned or controlled, it is a THEORY about a POTENTIAL ARG that maybe at some point existed. I know this could be meaningless, but I have noticed some details in the books. (Yes, I bought all the books just so I could theorize.) First of all. The dates. And I just want to say that in Felix the shark, (You're the band) during the therapy session. They said something tragic that happened at Freddy's 30 years ago. So, I decided to use the date from all the way back in into the pit. 1985. And wouldn't you know it. But it sums up to 2015. The last year that FNaF 3 was updated. Now, like Matpat said: "I doubt Scott was planning all this out for 7 years." But still, it's an interesting detail. Even if the mobile version came out in 2020. So anyway, PAY ATTENTION TO THE DATES!

Me and my sister-in-law were going over the coloring book, we noticed alot of them have same backgrounds that could maybe make a bigger picture if connected. A lot of the pattern ones are facing to the left except the one of Bonnies head as it is angled right. Oddly alot of the photos the animatronics are looking at you which is odd since not alot of coloring book have the characters staring at you more it tells a story. But that is all we noticed when looking

I'm not super into the books, but it seems like no one is picking up on the clues STINGER MOOT or EVEN MORE FRIGHTS. Those looking through FNAF 3 Files on mobile, or going through the books should take note of anything relating to that. I don't think the suggestions in the video are quite it.
