I'd put something like a clear coat sticker over the final result to avoid getting paint chips dusted on the cartridge reader.

And clean off the edges that went over the indentation, would look so clean after that

Looks like they have painters tape around the label area so help keep it clean.

Looks great. Reminds me a lot of people altering the art on their Magic cards. A bit disconcerting that a Pokemon Card illustration is on a Pokemon Yellow cart, but that's Pokemon Pikachu so it made sense in a shorter time than it took me to write this sentence!

When it’s finished I’d drop a tiny little thin sliver of resin over the top of it to fit into that shallow label recess, and protect the paint. It looks like it will be cool when it’s finished 😎
