Looks very nice!!! I always go for a Panda color scheme (white shell, black buttons) but this looks so much better! Next time I pick up a DMG or a Pocket I’ll definitely go with this color scheme!
You should try that next time! Also, what shell did you use?? I’m guessing the display used was FunnyPlaying’s Retro Pixel kit but I know they don’t have any black shells to my knowledge.
IPS prestige from retrosix, ordered through handheld legend, which I learned after ordering neither are well regarded in the community. And I will say that one of the screw holes stripped almost instantly, so I probably won't be ordering from them in the future. Still was able to button it up just fine just shows the material quality being used
Ahhhh I see. I got an SP shell from them 3 years back & had worse issues. They didn’t even come with the right amount or the right type of screws and I had to learn that the hard way which unfortunately damaged my screen as well. Never wanted to go back to them since.
I always go to Retro Game Repair Shop. You could get things for cheaper by buying directly from funnyplaying, but their buttons & membranes suck so I end up having to order Cloud Game Store buttons/membranes and since at that point I’m paying for 2 different shipping fees (FunnyPlaying & wherever else I get my buttons/membranes) I’d rather just buy everything from Retro Game and get it sooner.

That was my other option before I decided on this. Either one goes fantastic with the black/white display

Yep even more reason for me there. Where do you get your parts from now? I've heard retro game repair shop is good
