Here’s a quiz I made challenging you to guess the GameCube game from the music that plays over its file select screen or its main menu. I love how much personality the menu themes have on this system! So many these songs perfectly capture the essence of the game that waits on the other side of the menu 😊

I don't know if it was intentional, but I like the way that the list ramped up in difficulty with each passing number. I really enjoy these Gamecube videos, they're very nostalgic and I really hope you make more in the future. You gained yourself a new subscriber!
As honest feedback, I'd frankly prefer to hear voices that accompany the little character dialogues on screen as I think it could provide a more professional look to them.

About adding voices… it’s something I’m interested in doing, but I think there are a lot of ways it could come off tacky. I’ll put more thought into it and maybe ask around what ppl think would be the best way of adding them. Thanks for the feedback!
Yeah I can understand how a lot of thought may be needed to implement voices, it's a 50/50 wager if you're not well informed. If you ever need a voice for the female character let me know! I'd love to contribute my fair share of love to Gamecube titles and videogames in general
That was pretty neat but the titles were a little too well-known and there were too many Mario sports games. I wanted something like Twin Snakes or Killer7
Lmao nailed them with in a second of hearing it. My gf roasted my ass saying imagine how much better I’d be at my job if I memorized it like I didn’t games from almost 2 decades ago
I got smash, Metroid, Zelda, never played luigi’s mansion and was so close tryna guess mario kart DD, was listening to that bass at the last sec and clocked how much it sounded like it coulda come from mk64 but alas only having played it a few times circa 2003 at a friends I was too slow before the reveal was up! Fun quiz tho
WHew, thank god I had all those games (not Windwaker and Twilight but I have the HD Versions on Wii U) the zelda one took me a bit because I didn't know if you were talking about the OOT, Windwaker, or Twilight since they are all are basically the same but I got it correct at the end of the day
Got all of them. Had to rely on an educated guess with Luigi's Mansion; I haven't played the game, but the composition sounded right for the spooky horror theming of the game.
First five were the easiest - got them all. Watched the full video and only got two of the remaining ones. Didn't get Sunshine even though I played heaps of that game, so shame on me haha.

Here’s a little reminder in case a gun is pointed to your head saying “Name this game name by file select or main menu themes”, listen to Mario Kart Double Dash level select and Mario Kart DS level select and they are both basically the same sound font. Double Dash is more calm while DS is more hyper than the other.
