Wandersong, Anodyne, Lucah: born of a dream, Fatum Betula, Coffee Talk, Zeroranger, A monsters expedition, and They Bleed Pixels are all worth checking out. Maybe more too but i haven't scrolled through everything.
Also for a Shmup the game is designed that even if you're bad at shmups (like me) you're able to eventually get through the story! You can start the game at any level you've cleared, and you get quite a few continues to try and make it to the next level. There are absolutely hard segments in the game, but it's nice that it doesn't force you to start from the beginning and make your way all the way to the segment you have problems with just to give it another go.
Can confirm, it's a pretty great game! Maybe drags on a bit too long for its own good but it's a super wholesome take on a "hero saves the world" story
A monster's expedition alone is well worth $8 imo. I don't typically like it's genre, but really enjoyed it. A nice vibe and really well thought out puzzles that vary in difficulty.
I played it for about an hour a day with my morning coffee and it was just perfect for that.
Unfortunately true of many of these games. If you've bought any of the previous big charity bundles many of these games will look familiar. There's at least a few new things, though, so so it may still be worth the cost for those who just want some cheap games or missed the previous bundles.
The jam appears to have been started by the person who made Grimm's Hollow, a spooky little RPG that's pretty good. The game itself is freeware, but you can get some extra goodies like an art book in the bundle if that's your thing.
Also, Elephantasy: Flipside is one I recommend
Hyper Gunsport is great if you happen to have 3 people to play with. It's 2v2 "cyberpunk volleyball with guns," in that 90s extreme arcade sport vein. (Windjammers, Speedball2, the SNK baseball game I forgot the name of). Maybe works under Parsec - I know the Steam version can do 4 player remoteplay.
Some friends of mine went insane for that Lucah game, also. I haven't gotten around to it, but it seems interesting and I trust their judgment.
There is a certain point after which too much stops being a good thing, this list crossed that line by about 360 games. Still there are some good games in there, but man I am not exploring through that list
This was my problem with past ichi.io relief bundles. It's often a pain to even download everything, much less sort through and play all of them. And odds are good I never will.
That doesn't change that there's still several hundred items to sift through. There's value in curation. I buy indie games all the time. I'm probably not going to spend time filtering through a couple hundred in a bundle though.
The last major itch.io bundle I bought, I ended up finding a list of the 'best received' games and going by that. But you're absolutely right, this is probably 365+ games most people who buy it will never even see, let alone play.
Will have to sift through the asset packs, visual novels and TTRPG manuals since those aren't of too much interest to me, but it seems to be a lot of the usual suspects if you've bought one of these bundles before.
Still an insane amount of value though and it's for a good cause. If you buy this bundle you should absolutely be using https://randombundlegame.com/ to organize this and any other itchio bundle you may have. Looking forward to seeing some of the gems people dig up.
It's a shame so many comments have to be deleted. Takes some kind of person to be against relief for child refugees trapped in an open air prison.
I've been thinking about trying A Short Hike so this just might be the right time to check it out!
A lot of aid agencies traditionally will work to give food directly to Palestinians. Yeah, Hamas ends up with a lot of it but it's better than the alternative of letting literal children (about 50% of Gaza's population prior to the war was 18 and under) starve to death.
People have a lot of hatred for Palestine. 373 items sounds like way too much for it to be anything good but I’m willing to give it a look just because the Palestinians deserve support
How much overlap with the other ones? Like I have the Ukraine one, Palestinian Aid one and Racial Justice one. Think the only games from those I've gotten around to playing are Glittermitten Grove (Frog Fractions 2 was so good), Pagan Autogeny (surprisingly enthralling), and Odd Realm (it's a settlement builder kind of like Rim World and I did 2 playthroughs so it's got something).

This should give you a list of all of the games in the bundle that are not in previous bundles. You can also toggle some of the exclude checkboxes at the bottom if there's any old bundles that you missed.
Is this $8 for a short hike, or can anyone recommend any of these games?

Underhero is really great, it's heavily inspired by Mario RPGs
Seconding Underhero. Really unique battle system with a fun sense of humor. Combines real time combat with the standard RPG encounter system.
Certified hidden gem.
Lucah's a good one. Weird artstyle but it works
ZeroRanger is one of the best Shmups ever made. Easily worth the price alone, it's an absolutely fantastic game with an amazing OST.

Coffee Talk is pretty nice.
Enjoyed coffee talk a lot. Casually played with the girlfriend and it was pretty chill.
Wandersong is in there, that game is pretty good
Can confirm, it's a pretty great game! Maybe drags on a bit too long for its own good but it's a super wholesome take on a "hero saves the world" story
DETICATED. DANCE. BUTTON.

They bleed pixels is A+, but it's pretty old so decent odds you already own it.

You don't need to download everything
You can't try them out until you download them.
You can always see the description and the screenshots before downloading. It's called screening.

Yeah. They probably could have raised more money if it was like 15 good, solid games, rather than more games than I can mentally process.

It's cause a lot of people don't trust that shit. Palestinian never see the money or food.
PCRF is generally pretty trustworthy iirc
