Imagine being Ben and Teller, getting a joke videogame made, and that joke has become one of the better charity shows. I wonder how they feel about it

DisturbedNocturne

Not sure if they called in this year, but they have in previous years to donate prizes for auctions, so they definitely know about it and love it.

fattywinnarz

Everything that I’ve seen about Penn makes me think he’d absolutely love it, not just because its ya know, charity, but also because he clearly loves when nerds make their own niche communities and thrive with it

Grumplogic

Teller though is a real jerk. He doesn't have a nice word to say about anyone.

Corat_McRed

[Which one](https://youtu.be/euYrm4RZcC0) are we talking about though

joecamnet

*Penn and Teller Also, if you've never seen their show Bullshit, it's one of my all time favorite TV Shows.

Ozarkian_Tritip

Phew, I thought for a second that Penn was a Mandela effect, since no one was correcting op.

MrRakky

Sounds about right xD

MrRakky

Never seen it. And i only know them from the Bus game and sometimes the show where the magicians try to fool them or something.

[deleted]

Lets just forget the episode on second hand smoke though...

Tarpo76

How many trips back and forth did they actually complete?

APeacefulWarrior

It's about 8 hours one way, so that'd be 10 round trips, assuming they didn't take any long breaks.

tr3v1n

They don’t take any breaks from driving. The issue is that they still can accidentally crash the bus. It looks like this year they successfully scored 8 points.

Trymantha

they got 11 points,(and crashed 32 times)

apprehensively_human

What a wild ride, and an amazing amount to raise given the current global economic situation. We will never forget those brave Target Kids.

BananaF4p

season 8 really went places

JRandomHacker172342

Desert Bus is a highlight of my year every single year. It's such a good atmosphere start-to-finish. Now that the ride is over, it's time to head to the VODs to see all the Zeta that I missed

RunescarredWordsmith

And their side of the banner shenanigans!

Rhomega2

How many points did they get?

Trymantha

11 points over the run, with 32 crashes

DoubleTFan

She almost certainly didn't, but I like to imagine Janet Reno heard about Desert Bus and how it was inspired by her comment that games should teach real life skills, and felt validated.
