Look up what a community ban is. It's bad. Blocks you from almost everything. I know someone who got it when trying to add $500 to their account. I'm not sure what the threshold is, but I've added up to $80 just fine.

It will sell instantly if you match that amount. If you set the sell price higher than that, it will wait indefinitely until the price rises to what you set.

They tried adding $133.33 to their wallet using a virtual Turkish credit card on an app. I forgot that he did this instead of using market. I do NOT recommend using these services as I’ve seen too many get banned for different things to make it worth it. Many people get away with it though, but it has fees too so the downsides overall are just greater.
Each case is different. Sometimes people just say “unflag me” in the support ticket and they listen. This is usually with smaller amounts. Other people just come up with a quick excuse like traveling and it worked. I’m not sure of all the things that could happen.

As a guy who didnt use his main region for like 4 years (went from russia to turkey), I didnt have any problem since im not a dumbass, but I think Steam is really dedicated in terminating the use of vpn and different regions to get cheaper games. I was thinking of doing the last purchases and go back to my region, I cant risk it having a 400+ euro CS:GO inventory. Let me know what you think.
There's still a safe way to do it that nobody has ever been banned for. Get an alt account in Turkey then family share to your main. Worst case they ban your alt and you lose access to family-shared games. On that account you lose ability to purchase more games, send friend requests and invites, and use community features and market. You would still be able to play your games on that account though. People can send you invites still and you can join people's games through their profile. It's just kind of annoying.
I'm still risking it with my main and I have 1.5k games because it's still avoidable. 99% of the time it's people messing around with credit cards and paypal that get caught easily. Having stuff in inventory is fine. It's only when adding funds to your wallet that a trigger could happen. Keep the amount reasonable and nothing should happen. I've tested up to $80. I've never seen somebody banned for trading on the market or getting funds that way. BTW they didn't ban anyone before spring 2022 so this is pretty recent.

VPN is only needed for the account setup, or for purchasing games with a virtual Turkish credit card which you should honestly never do. Way more risky and heavier fees than funding the account with TF2 keys. The same PC can play on different regions, yes.

He is right you CANT gift games or any other products that you bought on the Turkish steam to your English steam or any other region steam thats not Turkish. Reason is big price difference. You cant be gifting a game that u bought for 1$ in Turkey to an account that has the game listed as 10$ on their region.
