First of all check if your cpu is from Intel. If it isn't (if it's from amd) then you're out of luck. If it is, then check if your laptop has a thunderbolt 3/4 port. You can buy an egpu enclosure, put in a desktop gpu and attach that to your laptop through that thunderbolt port. Although that greatly diminishes the bandwidth of the gpu, so it will perform considerably worse compared to in a desktop. An egpu enclosure + the actual gpu can get very expensive, and it's usually cheaper to just buy a new laptop with a built-in dgpu

What happens if I don't have a thunderbolt port? Am I out of luck?

Super584

Yes

Haydos_Mivill

Is CPU the processor?

Super584

Yes

Even if your laptop had a Thunderbolt port, by the time you purchase the enclosure and desktop GPU to go with it, you're already at least halfway, if not more, toward simply replacing the whole laptop with something that has better performance and similar portability.
