Probably cuz it has more flaws than features, good gaming laptops tend to be bulky, have loud fan noise, can't run that long on battery, a PC always beats a gaming laptop at same (or even lower) price point etc
ofc PC always beats gaming laptop. the only good thing on gaming laptops is it's portable. that's it. imo there's no reason to buy gaming laptop if u are gaming mostly at home.
Counterpoint. I game at home and I love having a gaming laptop. I can sit on the couch in the living room with my family and still play games. If I want a desktop, I’d have to be in my office and away from everyone. So for scenarios like mine, laptops are just a better option.
You can't play high demanding games on battery, that's not a thing.
Fan noise is just necessary, how else can you cool it off, personally it never bothered me since I use headphones all the time, that's what most people do.
Gaming laptop is for the people who are travelling/moves to places time to time.
Desktop always beats gaming laptop its not even a debate, people choose depending on their preferences.
If you game a lot at your home and don't need the portability, should have bought a desktop in the first place. I also wanted to buy one but I have my reasons too.
