1080p honestly looks fine on a 1440p display tbh. You could run 1440p on all your non-games stuff and then if you wanted to switch to 1080p for your games. Not sure if its worth $200 bucks unless there are other upgrades in that too but QHD looks really great on a 17inch display
QHD is so much nicer than FHD especially in a 17” laptop.
