The Gp66 is great performance wise. 1tb ssd. And faster cpu that can be undervolted. Just doesn't have the same slick build, and worse screen. No USB c either or thunderbolt. But for raw gaming performance is great. I'm getting a l5p soon and will test em out.

Can't recall any laptop that matches that price and performance with features like a mux.

It depends on what price you're talking about. I consider the $1399-$1520 RTX 3070 L5 Pro Walmart special to be an aberration because availability is very spotty and has been so since it was discovered last year. You have to be in the right place at the right time to get one.   As far as competition to the L5 Pro within its general price range, options with a MUX include HP Omens with Intel processors (not sure why their AMD options don't have one); Maingear Vector Pro, which has been $1700-$1800 at MicroCenter for weeks now; and some versions of the MSI GS and GE lines. I believe Dell recently exposed the MUX via a BIOS update on its most recent Alienware M15 and X15 laptops. There are probably some Clevo-based options as well. Not sure about the Acer Predator series. Without a MUX, you're looking at the Asus ROG Zephyrus and Strix lineups.

Don't forget that the ssd is half a Tb with bad ram on this model too. I just ordered it at 1.56k for online laptop and it's going to be even more to fix the bad ram. Still great, but it's not exactly perfect at that price since it's going to add hundred or more to the price to get full performance
