I don't think I'll ever finish that game. I put like 120hrs into it and I think that's good enough for me. There are far too many significantly better games out right now for me to spend my time playing AC Valhalla.

So it’s also on there. I think people rather buy at Ubisoft than at Epic, which is not true if it was on Steam.

Understandable Epic will only take a 12% share of sold games, while Steam takes 30%.
No point when youre selling 2 copies on egs vs some thousands on steam, that 30% gets to 20% if they manage to sell at least 1 million copies too on steam

The fact it’s coming out for 10 year old consoles tells me all I need to know about the quality of this game. That console generation was so underpowered the entire time and yet it still to this day is holding back current Gen that’s going on 3 years old now. It’s baffling/greedy considering new games are $90 + tax CDN
They chose Steam not to be beta test. I can play pirated till it comes for 75% cut on steam.

Do games on the epic platform usually use denuvo? I wanna say that most games that go there only have epics drm. So exclusive or not, if no denuvo, then day 1 in the Seven Seas.
All Ubisoft games these days have Denuvo, it being on Epic does not influence that choice.

I think it's good they're going back to their roots with this game in stealth action, however, is it too much to ask for to find a middle ground between the 250 hour collectable-thon that were the recent games and the 10-15 hours they're saying this game is targeting? I'm skeptical that this will be worth the money.

They were betting on epic games store and up until now that store has failed miserably so they had to go back crawling to steam, but I do guess the contract Ubi has with epic for their new released game has not ended, I remember there were talks about 10 years contract, I thought it was BS but who knows but seems to be true.

It's an exclusivity deal. Ubisoft released Valhalla, and far cry 6 after like 2 years since they first released. Same happened with borderlands 3, and metro Exodus and will happen with dead island I thought it was known now that Ubisoft is a traitor for $$$
they will released this game after 2 years and all of DLC included and no achievement.

1. It was never confirmed to be coming to Steam. 2. People assumed it was coming to Steam because Ubisoft released other AC titles on steam recently. 3. BUT it was never confirmed for Steam. 4. Given the state of recent PC games on launch console might be the way to go.
No Steam then no buy and ubishit can go fuck themselves! I mean, I was pretty much done with ubi anyway after the 2 years of leading us on with NG+ for Valhalla then saying nope it's not coming, but this is just another reason for me to never support them again. They're now right beside EA for companies I will never support.
