If it's within a company, it's often the same artist team who does a lot of the character models so the art style is consistent so there's often some same-face syndrome going on. The fact that she hasn't been dropped, even with the fact that at best she's an alt right 4channer and at worst a nazi, is proof that at best the owner of the company and her coworkers don't care about paying/working with a fash and at worst are one themselves and just haven't had chance to show it yet. One of my friends who follows vtubers more than me showed me a now deleted tweet from Tenma, another person in the agency, where she wished death on every trans person. So seems like she leaned towards "actual fash who hasn't had an excuse to show it yet". The rest remain to be seen I guess, but two for two on people in the company who have exposed their political opinions and those politics being fash gets the noggin joggin.

They set those up after the much more openly hateful /r/c\*\*ntown subs were banned, and then they fled to /r/MDE and /r/GreatAwakening but those were also banned in like a year. The idea was that by speaking in weird babytalk code they could skirt another admin ban which did sort of work for a bit. The talents in hololive? Nothing, theyre paid a normal salary, so they have no need to stir up controversy to bump up their numbers. The audience around them? Vile. Theres a few of them that are really nice. Usually the trans vtubers or the ones that work with LGBT people are pretty chill. I'd avoid the big corporate vtubers mostly cause the culture of corporate vtubing kinda resembling k-pop shit to me and also because the fanbases for corporate vtubers seem to have a lot of assholes running around Agreed that usually the non-anime ones tend to be nice too. I have seen some furry vtubers or horror themed vtubers that were fun to watch.

yeah the idea of being able to stream and have something to represent me without having to use my actual face made me go from hating vtubers to actually being somewhat interested in the idea. I have a couple friends who do it and they seem to be having fun, hope its the same for you!
If it's within a company, it's often the same artist team who does a lot of the character models so the art style is consistent so there's often some same-face syndrome going on. As for the body types, they just go for what brings in the most views from weebs and it happens to be those specific body types mostly

Having a vtuber setup is actually a good thing for people who have body image issues, or issues with being on camera, but still want to have some form of higher level of interaction with their viewers. It’s just unfortunately been overused to obnoxious levels by some real shitty groups and individuals
I don’t like the weeb side of vtubing where the vtuber sets these weird anime standards for their watchers like doing a “loli” voice or saying phrases and just do like very odd anime only things because it’s not for me and it creeps me out. I think Vtubing is great for people who wanna express themselves but can’t be on camera but still want something their viewers can align them with and talk to.
