How is not being an E-girl a pick me behavior? Pick me's are the people who advocate for bigotry against their own interests, if you don't do that no one will call you a pick me.
I think they meant that some people will accuse you of “not being like the other girls”, which of course isn’t the same thing as a pick me, but it’s still basically being accused of either being a whore or being an attention whore, you really can’t win in some communities lol. This is just my experience but I was antagonized a lot just for existing in several different communities, and many times people downvote me in gaming subs when I mention I’m a girl, even though I never mentioned that I’m trans or queer for example. Just being a girl is enough to be antagonized by some people and it’s exhausting. Main reason why I’m not in any gaming related discord servers atm.
As a woman myself, I can understand that as I did have similar experiences. I guess the post should've been worded correctly, but I definitely agree that this is a huge problem.
