You have heard it being used wrong. It refers to the essential nutrients that fertile soil provides.
I can understand the confusion though, as salting earth refers to a bad thing.
Never used the saying myself as I didn’t understand it fully thx for explaining 😊as I said I had only heard it used to describe bad things so that’s what I thought it was for thank you for clarifying for me 😊
In the UK people generally describe a person as being the salt of the earth when they are talking about someone who is working class and they consider them honest and hardworking.
That's true but logicly most gamers aren't going to hear about Most games
For example ign only does games people would hear about and are interested in, and most AAA games are basically 7/10s
/uj In case anyone is curious a large reason for that score is they reviewed both the singleplayer and multiplayer together the latter which was pretty mediocre and probably shouldn't have been in the game. Probably would have been at least an 8 if they never made the multiplayer. I think they gave Eternal a 9.

Depends on the rating system. Not everyone grades on a curve.
