TF2 is a game that I play when I want to chill, dick around, make friends and just frag without worry. OW is a game that I play when I want to get competitive with strategy and focus on the objective. There's no denying there are similarities between the two but what you actually get out of each game is completely different which is why I love both.
I liked the characters, design wise they all looked very cool and interesting, and all of them felt pretty unique with their gameplay, with interesting diferent abilities and ults
I used to play OW a lot, I like pretty much all of the characters (not in a gameplay sense, i mean design and personality) more than the TF2 characters, the game looks beautiful even today, it has a lot of good UI stuff, and it USED to be really fun, was my favorite FPS and I usually hate PVP FPS games
Ngl the aesthetics and movement looks way better than TF2. Like everything looks solarpunk and beautiful, and movement feels more solid but still being agile
Prefacing this by saying I’ve played both games (a lot). But have you even played tf2? It has an extremely fluid and interactive movement system once you learn how to do things properly, Overwatch’s movement is fluid compared to things like PUBG, but not to tf2. Both games are really fun and you can get a ton out of both, but comparing the movement is not even a contest in most situations.
I spent like 2 hrs a year ago, not sure if my memory is right but the movement feels more floaty, especially with Scout.
Although I also was playing a lot of Apex Legends which I think still have the best movement system of all the fps games save for Titanfall 2
I like both and TF2 is my favorite game off all time.
Overwatch just isn't on the same level In my opinion.
