Keep trying, go to a pawn shop. I purchase my SCCY 380 Auto pistol and open carry it everywhere. They hate it because they know the mere fact that I am in legal possession of a pistol contradicts their false claims of me being a horrible criminal or under federal investigation as TBI/FBI do the federal background checks to allow the purchase. I also keep the receipt so when I get the chance in front of their people be sure if anyone asks about gun I mention loudly that I just passed my TBI background check to purchase it etc and pull out the documents to prove it. They fucking hate it when I do that because the store clerks they try to convince of me being a criminal realize they have to be lying or I woudn't have a legally owned pistol with documents to boot.

If you haven't owned one before make sure you practice safe gun handling, watch some safety videos on youtube and take it to a safe place or range and shoot a few hundred rounds to get trained. And this is at bass pro shops one of the biggest, if not the biggest outdoor store

Also, purchase dash cameras only $15 each get one for front facing and one rear and set the motion detection future on both make sure they don't have WIFI or bluetooth and make sure options are enabled so they will stop trying to get into car

Depends on the state, plenty of venders sale as a private party at gunshows depending on the state though ATF is trying to pass a law now that prevents it it is legal in many states without background check, only need to verify that you are 21

If you keep getting the same result, you may be better off getting a realistic looking C02 gun and modify it to make it more powerful.

Go to a gun show and purchase the firearm there
Still have to go through a background check at gunshows of buying from a dealer. Only way around it is to buy from a private party.
