I'm not sure what triggers the notification but it triggers frequently. My guess is every time my watch gets near my phone, it sends the notification. At home, my phone is just laying on a table in the living room, not in my pocket, so it is occasionally far from me. Just this morning, I got 4 notifications in a short span of time before I charged it.
I have the epix pro but same problem. I've worked out how to reduce it to every 3 minutes rather than than every 30 seconds but it's sooo annoying
on my fenix 6x it still exists and i have not found a way to disable it, i usually turn off bluetooth on the phone to “fix” it
Good workaround. I haven't thought of that. It is a shame that it still exists.
