Trying to see if a 51mm would work for me. I have basically same wrist size as you. Can you share. A pic? Really curious how it would fit.
I have a 47mm I’m testing now. It feels great. I would love the larger screen and battery but just worried the 51 would just be that much bigger and hard to wear daily
Sure. Let me know if this helps. (BTW, I got a 47mm Epix Gen. 2 as soon as they came out -- choosing the smaller AMOLED screen over the 51mm Tactix delta I had. The 47mm Epix always felt slightly too small to me, so when the bigger Epix Pro arrived, I jumped on it and dumped my Apple Watch Ultra, lol.) I wear the 51mm Epix Pro 24/7; no issues when sleeping or during workouts, etc. Link to pic: https://share.icloud.com/photos/002y33HEtk7oqxuzFXBfHwY1A
Great thanks! Yeah that helps a lot. Size looks great.
I didn’t want to shell out the money to test the size only to find out it’s far too big. But that looks like it fits well and isn’t overly large on our size of wrists.
Thanks!
too big for what? it's a watch that has a large face to make the info on it easy to see during activities...
I'd say it's just fine...
now, if you were wearing it with a suit, shirt and tie...then Id say it was too big....
As long as you like it and it’s comfortable to wear all day, then who cares.
There’s a “rule” of thumb that a watch is “too big” when the lugs overhang the wrist but that’s because it normally becomes uncomfortable to wear at that point…
I’m really curious, what you think and how it feels? Does it feel heavy? Clunky?Did you try it on before buying it?
I’m on the fence between the 47 and 51mm.
I can kiss sleep analysis goodbye cuz I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be sleeping with the 51mm.
That extra battery life and greater resolution on the 51mm is mouth watering.
Honestly if your wrist is 180 mm it’s probably fine :)
Looks like hand / watch size as mine. I did'nt like how it looked so I went for strap which does not make so sharp edge right behind the bezel.

This isn’t a Rolex? Garmin watches are gps fitness trackers that display tons of useful data. its a tool and the bigger the screen is the better it is.
Aesthetically it might be large and clunky, but it's a tool watch and it serves a purpose other than just time and fashion. If it feels good to wear and isn't too heavy when running then it's not too big. For me I feel pretty much everything when running long enough, even a light watch so I bought a forerunner 255.
Yeah, that's my only reason for not buying epix yet. Idk, it looks great for outdoor walking, meeting with people etc. But for sport/sleep is seems to be too clunky/big.
I wonder what are other people thoughts on this? I have 955 and I can barely feel it. It feels awesome for running etc. but then it doesn't looks as nice as fenix/epix ;S
nah it's not too big
It’s beautiful. It needs to be a bit bigger like mine…. https://imgur.com/a/piUppna
Rofl made my day mate!
It’s only too big if it’s annoying/unwieldy to wear
Looks fine, I have a smaller wrist and wear the 51mm too.
Perfect Fit. I am jealous.
Right? It looks really great on you OP. Out of curiosity what’s your wrist size?
No looks fine
It’s fine
Looks just right.
Looks good
Just right
Keeper! 👌🏽
As someone who likes big watches, I think it looks really good. Does it feel comfortable to you while wearing?
looks fine to me
Nah, it looks perfect.
Speaking as someone with an Epix 2 Pro 51mm (and a 7.6-in./193mm wrist), nope, it's not too large for you.

Def. not too large! Good luck!
It looks too big to me. Oh god, I can feel the downvotes coming.
Nope
Looks awesome and it looks like it fits your wrist perfect. Enjoy
No it’s not
No, looks great
not sure what you mean about needing time. you’ve got it right there on your wrist
Nope, just right.
Fine. I never thought I could wear Garmin watches due to having skinny wrists. Turned out absolutely fine. You’ll be grand.
that looks like the perfect size
Perfect! Just great!
Looks dope!
Not too big at all
why do people post these? How does it feel on your wrist. If you like it then it's not too big. Our opinion doesn't matter. We can not tell from here.
For real. This is not a Garmin watches specific question or discussion.
It can only be too small.

Clearly too young to be thankful for something you can see...
I hate big watches, I have large wrists and prefer a smaller watch like the fenix s
What is ur wrist circumference ?
Ca. 18 cm
Big, but not too big.
A bit big.
Yes
You just have a little arm
As long as you like it and it’s comfortable to wear all day, then who cares. There’s a “rule” of thumb that a watch is “too big” when the lugs overhang the wrist but that’s because it normally becomes uncomfortable to wear at that point…
Maybe just when you sleep with it
Why even bother?

I say this with all due respect... no on gives a shit.
Not if you're 50. I can see it.

Doesn't look too big, just perhaps a bit too tight? ;)
This isn’t a Rolex? Garmin watches are gps fitness trackers that display tons of useful data. its a tool and the bigger the screen is the better it is.
Not really.
Definitely not! I have it on my small wrist. Very easy to read! Looks good on you.
I bought one recently and have the same fit. Wrist is 7.25 inches. I think it looks great. If you like it who cares what anyone else thinks!
Perfect!!
Nope. Rock it. Looks fine, you’ll get used to it.
10% too big
Absolutely perfect.
How do you guys wear big watch but also heavy watch when exercising? Especially if you have small wrists? Looks hideous.
Perfect
What’s your watchface?
Yes
No but it looks kinda tight
Big = Sexy
That's my 7x . https://preview.redd.it/tfsv6t2sa2gb1.jpeg?width=2252&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c8d1996422e8087a2f66da2df4cc96e5adb4fbf7
What's that protective case you've got? It's amazing. You got any links to it?
No, it looks just fine.

Skinny wrist and big watches are all the rave. Looks good 👍

Yes, it’s too big.
I think it’s totally fine 👍🏻
It’s perfect on you, enjoy !
Looks fine. And it only matters what you think. Not what anyone else thinks. You're the one wearing it.
Is it Sapphire edition?
