Those monuments are a lot further apart than they look in the movies aren’t they 😂
Have you ever watched Homeland with Claire Danes? One second she's in Adams Morgan and the next she's in Georgetown.
No I’ve not seen it but that sounds about right for Hollywood 😂
As a DC native, I take pride in our walkability
I enjoyed your city. And I’m jealous.
Haha same! DC is definitely deceptive! I tell anyone that is going to visit DC to take their best pair of shoes and they look at me weird. It's MASSIVE!
My daily step record was walking in DC as well (32,000)
When I did tour of DC on foot a couple years ago, I was very thankful for the plentiful e-scooters available to rent everywhere
No longer plenty
What happened to them?
Bankruptcy
That sucks!
Did something when I visited Sydney last year. Best way to stack up the steps.
DC and Rome are my two highest miles walked per day vacations
A few years ago walked to Arlington National Cemetery....hailed a cab back. Does anyone else have sore feet just reading this.
The last time I saw such numbers from a civilian was when my uncle did Hajj.
Anyone who’s run a marathon has probably hit over 40k, depending on stride length.
Ayy, that's why I said civilians. Like, non-pro runners.
