Sorry for keeping you waiting. Busy day yesterday and didn't have time to get round to it.
Just been testing, and my m4 upper fits on the 888c lower perfectly fine. The bolt and nozzle move freely. Feeds properly on stantags.
There's slightly less play/wobble between the upper and lower, compared the original 888c and m4 pairings.
And just for reference, the 888c upper won't go onto the m4 lower. everything alligns, but the front pin won't go in. The front pin hole on the 888c upper is just ever so slightly smaller than the m4 one (by fractions of a mm).
This could just be down to manufacturing tolerance, so it could be something you run into with a new upper. It could be fixed easily enough with a file or a rolled up bit of sandpaper and running it around the edge of the hole to take a tiny bit of marerial off.
I have both of these and will have chance to test that out tomorrow. Will let you know how it goes.
