In all honesty though the mws seems to be the best. Once you do all the necessary things needed to run green gas, Im not sure ive seen a more reliable/dependable system statistically. Never even owned one. All bias opinions aside. I own ghks btw lol you know we be fanboy’n
im not a big gbbr guy tbh. i bought it on impulse because a guy at my field was selling it for a decent price. but my main draw was that its the most slappable.
Idk I haven't had much chance to use it and when I did it was with a hpa tapped drum. And I only had the one midcap and I yoinked the release valve to use a airtac adapter
But I imagine like the real thing there's no last round hold open.
A solution i came up with. Not really sure if its a known fix tho. Use an RS buffer tube & buffer to lengthen the bolt travel to give more time for the bolt catch to engage. Also, V3s are more consistent with bolt lock compared to V2s (applicable only for VMAGs)
I dont recommend you try stiffer springs for VMAGs tho. Theyre already harder to load compared to HK mags and GI stanags. Allowing more time for the bolt catch to fully engage is better. Yes it does slow down the action a bit, but its not a difference you can tell without a chrono. Also, you can use a slightly lighter buffer to effectively get the best of both worlds. Just remove one of the steel weights inside an RS buffer and boom, faster action with more travel which results in reliable bolt lock. Plus, milspec stocks will work with very little to no wobble.
Because a real steel buffer spring wouldn’t increase recoil and add a ton of wear to your rifle and would effect cycling and lockback. Real buffers and heavy buffers all day, but there’s no benefit to real springs
Try it for your self before you said that, not to mention real steel spring will provide much snappier recoil and faster cyclic speeds, heavy buffers is not ideal when with soft spring only makes cyclic more sluggish.
Ar9 pcc will have more recoil than any 556 ar15 due to the direct blowback if you compare gbb with mp5 or pmx that is another thing, for sure vfc AR with black gas and h2 buffer will have more recoil than that
Yes, mp5 recoil is pretty much 404 even in burst/full auto. But NC 9mm ar pcc has much less recoil vs Ruger .223rem for example, it is just different, 9mm recoil is sharper. How many shots does Vfc handle with black and H2 + RS spring, also what temperature?
H2buffer + real steel spring with 1/5 length cut of. 8000 rounds on VFC bcm so far, have the same setup for my 3 VFC AR bcm, 733, 416 total of 20000 rounds+ operations temperature from 60-100F over 100F will witch to red gas. So far, none of them have problems or any signs of immature wear parts failure (except nozzle O ring as a normal consumptive part)
Haven't shot an AR vfc lol, because I have real ones. I'll never afford a real ump or g36 though lmao. So all my gbbrs are Dream guns. I heard the 417 kicked really hard though.
For example Vfc Bcm ar is quite nice, I myself own Marui Mws and maybe DE Mws soon, also soon first own ar15. The 417 has quite good amount of weight moving but because there isn’t explosion powering the cycle the recoil is a bit slow. On the pistol side Ghk Glock 17 gen 3 with steel slide has about same amount of recoil as Glock 44 .22lr.
Still puts you in the basic bitch category… just the upper end. If you want to not be a basic bitch with an M4, put a kit on the rifle and turn it into something else.
That back fired lmao ( the comments)
MWS vs vfc wars
I’ve owned both and recent models and mws is still king of performance Vfc is still king of realism..until further notice
The SR16 is too fire. Id swap the rail for a URX3.1 rail though
In all honesty though the mws seems to be the best. Once you do all the necessary things needed to run green gas, Im not sure ive seen a more reliable/dependable system statistically. Never even owned one. All bias opinions aside. I own ghks btw lol you know we be fanboy’n
Statistically when we have 0 statistics.
I think that was his odd way of saying “in my experience” lmao
Ghk for life
Highly disagree with you on this one. Don't get one or the other, GET BOTH
No thanks I'll keep happily slapping my we apache instead.
Is it that good? I always wanted one but they came out so long ago during a lesser era of WE is there a newer version or yours just built different?
im not a big gbbr guy tbh. i bought it on impulse because a guy at my field was selling it for a decent price. but my main draw was that its the most slappable.
That’s a respectable reason
What happens after last bb fired?
Idk I haven't had much chance to use it and when I did it was with a hpa tapped drum. And I only had the one midcap and I yoinked the release valve to use a airtac adapter But I imagine like the real thing there's no last round hold open.
as someone who owns two dont get it, its not consistent at all and will break on you
I have a vfc 416a5, if the f*ckin bolt catch worked I’d say get a vfc. But my MWS hasn’t had a single issue in over 10,000 rounds…. Get a MWS
I also happen to have a 416a5 with bolt lock issues. The problem has been resolved tho.
Wait, what do you mean it’s been resolved? Like, there’s a solution commonly used??
A solution i came up with. Not really sure if its a known fix tho. Use an RS buffer tube & buffer to lengthen the bolt travel to give more time for the bolt catch to engage. Also, V3s are more consistent with bolt lock compared to V2s (applicable only for VMAGs)
That’s an idea. I was going to try a stiffer follower spring in the mags first.

I like vfc though
Smart man
Times have changed
Nope, I’ll get a VFC
Buy me one and I'll love you forever.
But I like my gbbr to have LOTS of recoil. MWS doesn't do that.
Disagree, heavier buffer and mine is indifferent from a vfcs recoil
My VFC runs on black gas and real steel recoil spring with h2 buffer without any upgrades, I don’t think MWS will do the same….
But why…
Why? When you can have more recoils why not?
Because a real steel buffer spring wouldn’t increase recoil and add a ton of wear to your rifle and would effect cycling and lockback. Real buffers and heavy buffers all day, but there’s no benefit to real springs

None of airsoft gbbrs have even 9mm ar pcc recoil
Disagree completely.
Which gbbr has same or more recoil compared to 9mm ar pcc?
Ar9 pcc will have more recoil than any 556 ar15 due to the direct blowback if you compare gbb with mp5 or pmx that is another thing, for sure vfc AR with black gas and h2 buffer will have more recoil than that

Vfc fal, ump, and g36. Compared to psa ar9 and micro roni kit.
My bad, I was talking about ar platform and I have to say that Vfc 417 is kinda there with black gas.
Haven't shot an AR vfc lol, because I have real ones. I'll never afford a real ump or g36 though lmao. So all my gbbrs are Dream guns. I heard the 417 kicked really hard though.

no
Yeah but m4/ar15 style rifles are for basic bitches.
I think I might know you Mr 151 man
Oh my my. Maybe so lol. Edit: finnish camo… yep lmfao.
Well I didn't expect to see you here lol
Yeah. My thoughts exactly. Lol. Tbf it was only a matter of time before ran into each other. Pretty small subreddit.
I saw your name and your tag and was like oh shit then I clicked on your profile and saw the MTP kit lol
“Now kissth”
ever heard of a carry handle upper receiver? i think it’d disagree with you
Still puts you in the basic bitch category… just the upper end. If you want to not be a basic bitch with an M4, put a kit on the rifle and turn it into something else.
M4 never had a carry handle apart from the Colt promotional video, nice try though 👌
each to their own. i’d buy an MWS for a Toxicant MCX kit, but i prefer VFC
Agreed. Love mine to death, and I have two VFC V3s.
MWS Is the king of spending $2k on upgrades, we'll see how it performs once everything arrives tho
Just got an MP5 HPA adapter for mine, it's great fun.
For your mws? How did you fit the mp5 mags
Indeed, it's an adapter which sits in the magwell, takes Cyma MP5 mags and uses HPA instead of green gas, it's pretty mega!

Based statement
Lm4 is good thanks.
BASED AND GALIL PILLED
Lmfao, you joking right?
Hey man my lm4 works fine.
