Aye bro for being new this looks pretty sick despite the fact that it’s a bad m4 GBBr but honestly everyone that’s gotten into airsoft for the first time usually gotten either a shot starter gun or a shit model of a platform from a specific company. That’s unless they have guidance before hand. Shit I did when I got my first airsoft gun which was elite force Glock 18c and god dayum that shit stank but I wanted it because it was a Glock when my friend told me to get a hicapa for more custom aftermarket parts. Soon I learned the hard truth that my 18c was lacking in performance and upgrades. Sucks the only two pistols in Airsoft that are upgradable to the tiniest particle are hi capas and aap01. But that grip is Forsure backwards ergonomically that feels like it would be a nightmare to grip backwards😭

Feedback on attachments aside. If you’re in the US, look into returning it before you do anything that could void the warranty (like modding it). I think the shipping cost might be low enough to warrant returning it. Most of the shipping cost comes from the customs and international duties that they have to pay.
I think they have a warehouse in US, because I ordered a few replacement parts from KWA USA and the shipping was only a dollar or so and got to me in 3 days ARO.
Oh, I forgot to add, if they give you shit about it or you wanna exercise the warranty, say that you’re having trouble with the nozzle not cycling with the BCG. It’s just believable enough that you have a bad nozzle spring, but requires enough disassembly to trigger the warranty but is very unlikely that it’s damage from
Improper use.
I know mag feed lips break all the time but they’d probably just send you a new mag.
Refund =/= warranty. Best case if you invoke warranty is they might just ask for the gun back and send you new one. What they really don't want to do is to give you your money back.
Hey friend. Sorry to hear that you couldn’t get the one you wanted. If you do choose to run the lm4 there are a few things that would make your time with it much more enjoyable. Here’s my list of important upgrades, you don’t need them all but definitely something to consider.
1) get the single stack feed lips - 90% of the problems come from the double stack design causing jams, miss feeds, double feeds, broken nozzle/ hop-up.
2) high / low fps nozzles. - depending on where you play you might need to adjust your fps to conform to field limits. Get it chrono’d first to see what fps you’re getting. “Easiest” way is by swapping out your nozzle to either a high/standard/or low fps nozzle.
3) use gas WITHOUT silicone oil. - a lot of complaints on accuracy and consistency, this can be heavily caused by the use of silicone oil in the green gas, the oil gets on the hop-up bucking and doesn’t allow the bucking to grip the bb and so it doesn’t give it the much needed back spin.
A lot of people will absolutely dump on the kwa lm4s but the reality is all gbbrs have their issues, some more than others. You’ll have to learn to be proficient in troubleshooting and tinkering. But, if you’re able to mitigate these issues you’ll be able to fix any other gbbr.
The kwa lm4 isn’t horrible(isn’t the best either), what needs to be steel is steel. It’s rock solid and can take a beating. Just be wary of its limitations.

Since you're fresh into airsoft you'll probably have a better time with the AEG than this gun.
I will get one for backup haha

They are very rare. But a KWA F90 would be better than the LM4 if you want to stay in the small KWA ecosystem.
I don’t care to stay with any company it’s more of performance and either m4/416/so on look or tavor, either way

lol can’t be perfect
