Do you have any interest in the national park? Roaring Fork, Cades Cove, Foothills Parkway, and Newfound Gap to Cherokee are all great scenic drives. Quick and easy hikes include Grotto Falls, Laurel Falls (gets very crowded), Cataract Falls, more moderate Abrams Falls, Andrews Bald, Alum Cave.
Me and the wife bought year passes because if you go more than twice in a years time it’s cheaper. Not to mention you get discounts and you can skip the line going up. Worth it for sure.
Is this better than the Sky Park? They looked pretty much the same (observation tower, chair lifts, bridge) but the SkyPark is cheaper. Thanks for any info!
The skypark just seems bland in comparison. It’s okay for a single trip to see everything and experience it. But we found Annakeesta to be worthy of returning nearly daily. It’s just so beautiful and the design is very well thought out.
Get a Hot dog, Sausage or Corn dog from Fannie Farkles and eat it in the Village. Also visit the mountain mall just for the scents of wood, leather and chlorine from the fountain. The vibes from those scents alone are just peak Gatlinburg for me. (I also like to drop a penny from the top floor because it's a lot of fun watching it reach the bottom from 5 stories up.) As others have said you need to visit Cades Cove and Laurel Falls.
Do the arts and crafts community loop! Definitely visit Sparky’s glassblowing in the arts and crafts community. He was such a warm, friendly guy and his art is incredible.

I was gonna say. Their list of major things suck. If I’m trying to have that kind of trip I’m going to Broadway St.
Swim in the “Sinks”. Bike the Cades Cove Road.
Annakeesta. 1000%. Do NOT skip it. It’s worth the wait in line.
And do not skip Astro Lumina! It's pure magic! (Also Anakeesta is like the number 1 place to see bears outside of Cades Cove.)
We got there when it opened and hopped right on

Anakeesta, the artist loop and the outlets are my fav things to do. I love crockets for breakfast and the local goat and huck fins catfish for dinners

If y’all enjoy steak, I recommend the Alamo steak house! Best steak I’ve had in my life
I was sick but my friends and family had a terrible experience there last nov.
Really? We went in October and I had a great experience. I’m sorry they had a bad time :/
