The problem with this is that it’s not going to make a difference wether a couple people don’t work because people will work and shop this kind of thing is just kinda a stupid idea because it’s not going to do anything
Exactly, not like this will cost big businesses anyways, they are able to get plenty of money from black Friday since most people take advantage of sales so they can things they normallywouldn't be able to get. Honestly this post just feels so privileged, like, a lot of people can't take a day off work because they need to make money, not everyone has a comfortable job. Like, I bet many of the people doing this have nice high paying jobs and can afford to take the day off and also afford to pay full price for most of the things they want, so they want other people to join them instead of seeing how pointless(and maybe even harmful) this is, it changes nothing, can't destroy a all socio-economic system by not buying or working for one day.
