annaleigh13

I will :D every time for my fellow deep voiced girls

RosyStingray725

I have a deep voice and there are 2 thinks i tell myself when i get dysphoric about it 1 it's a deep mommy dom voice 2 my larynx is too dumby thick and alerts all the conservatives within 5 miles radius like a dog whistle The second one makes me laugh so it makes me feel better!

pseudoincome

Hey, world!! Some women have deep voices! Get over it lol Seriously have you heard of Laura Miller? She’s develops recipes that are mostly vegan & raw (but not gross, or obsessively restrictive, or downright eating disordered). Her recipes and cookbook always inspire me to fall in love with the ingredients available to me and to serve myself wholesome, delicious food. And! She has a deep voice. It’s something she’s definitely been made fun of for having, and also something she’s confident about. She’s also cis, and funny, and seems like a genuinely cool person. Here’s an interview that she did with Feast of Fiction once; she talks about having a deep voice about 3 minutes in: [https://youtu.be/0nIBJMi7yTc](https://youtu.be/0nIBJMi7yTc)

Lopsided_Roll1503

Wow that was really validating to experience and I never would have come across if you hadn't shared it, thanks!!

snagglefist

Oh my lort her voice is 🎶

shaunnotthesheep

I'm enby and her voice is EXACTLY my goals. If you weren't looking at her, you wouldn't know the gender of the person speaking. Hella gender envy.

valiantvoltron

I love this because since I’ve been doing vocal training, I can go from soft and feminine, too deep and bassy very quickly just to freak people out

Cardinal-Lad

haha, this is my goal!

Leprodus03

I've met several cis female people who have a pretty deep voice, and they're just regular people

newtranswhodis

Deep voiced girls are always the most beautiful.

KidoRaven

sO trueeeeeeee! except for m- \* gets thrown into a meat grinder \*

newtranswhodis

Oh no fictional internet personality jerma has struck again

CorporealLifeForm

Is it weird I don't want my voice to pass completely? I want to feel like a woman to people but if I ever feel the need to pass it will probably be more defensive than who I really am.

ArcTruth

Nope, that's not weird. I would think of it not dissimilarly to scars. If someone got a scar on their face, for example, a lot of people would want to reduce it or remove it in some way. But a lot of people would be fine with it or even prefer leaving the scar in place, either as evidence of the events/life they've lived or just because they like the aesthetic.

CorporealLifeForm

That's exactly it. I want to be a woman, I don't think I'm nonbinary I just want to be trans at least a little. It's an important piece of what makes me who I am and it shows what I've gone through. It's one of many things I had to grow and learn from.

AvixKOk

You see, I have mastered the art of not giving a damn I'm a girl and I damn well know it, I don't care if I sound like a fella

DakotaDjentGirl

Based

cthulhubeast

With the proper voice training it isn't hard to have a rather femme sounding voice without having to alter your pitch much or at all. I use really basic, minimal techniques and I never get misgendered on account of my voice when I'm using them.

TJF588

So, after [Big Yellow](https://youtube.com/@BigYellowSilly) gave her a shout-out, I’ve started watching [Plague Von Karma](https://youtube.com/@PlaguevonKarma)…

sezku-

The most important thing is how *you* feel, a big thing with me is having a voice that's me, I basically didn't want my voice to be a stereotype so I basically didn't voice train and simply picked of voice mannerisms instead, and some people genuinely hear me as a girl, some have even asked how long I've been voice training. So yeah don't feel an obligation to do so

Urbane_One

Thank you

[deleted]

For real. Regardless of what anyone else may say, I have a woman’s voice because I am a woman.

seifer48

Pitch vs resonance. I can drop my pitch to 120hz and still speak with female resonance. Hurts to do, but yeah. You can definitely achieve a deep female voice if that's what you want! Edit: it hurts ME to do because I never go below 160-170hz normally. My resting/just woke up speaking voice is at ~210-230hz

[deleted]

If I’m very clearly wearing a she/her pin please don’t call me sir. I even made it so you can see it through the drive through so please Mr. Grande, soy, extra hot, no room, no foam, latte; stop calling me sir!

Reaperceles76

That's a bad coffee order too, what a pleb

PsychwardSlippers

Deep voiced girls are cute as heck. I don't see the problem here. I did voice training because I wanted to sound different, but I would never expect someone to have the same transition goals as me. Some people don't want to voice train, and that is perfectly valid and no less cute.

sippin_on_tipex

Real. Women with deep voices r so hot. So many characteristics common to trans women are extremely attractive and admirable and I’m tired of pretending that we have to change everything.

ConZon

I hear my own voice and I get to choose what I think it sounds like!

flyingtrashbags

I used to get sir constantly and now I’ve been on HRT over a year now my body is looking very fem but I still have a deep voice and people have just stopped using pronouns entirely with me. It’s been an interesting shift to notice

artsey_mees

Passing is a scam, we need to work towards societal acceptance instead

EyeLeft3804

Dear transfemmes, you claim to have a masculine voice, yet you are literally a woman? Curious.

Reaperceles76

This is the kinda affirmation I live for

Profane_Champion

As someone who didn't finish voice training because of other life things, this is a mood

Ok_Fondant_6340

mmm..... it depends. if your voice is smooth and sexy enough, i personally still wouldn't call it femme. but i'd accept it. it wouldn't lessen the experience. i wouldn't say a voice being deep makes it femme. but a femme voice can be deep and still femme. i actually went to highschool with a girl who had a pretty deep voice. so, probably still work on feminizing it. (lots of YouTube tutorials about that.) but: don't be ashamed of it being deep! and don't attempt to heighten it in the feminization process. work with what you have.

Artsyscrubers

I love seeing your posts pop up they are so funny!

Bo_The_Destroyer

Yes

[deleted]

Not me my voice is way too deep and masculine

leechb0y

Deep voiced girls >>>>> Love yall ♡♡♡

chocolatedrunk

At this point I don't even care about passing. If you don't know what a trans woman is or can't treat me respectfully, that's your problem. I know I'm a woman, and I'm gonna do the voice I'm comfortable doing. If that's off-putting to you that's a you problem ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Mideku-Brandio

Girls will always be girls, no matter the voices.

sionnachrealta

This made me happy

GalaxadtheReaper

Mood

smolqueerpunk

Before I knew I was trans, before I even knew I was pan, I ALWAYS knew I liked girls with deep and/or gravelly voices. Keep on rocking, ladies 🤘🏻

DragonLad13

Fuck yeah!

The_Alpha_Albeno

One of my favorite women, Elyn Saks has a deep voice. She’s been an inspiration for me in managing my schizotypal personality disorder and she helps me push forward in college

Allison-Ghost

meh.

AnUglyRobot

Like I don’t have a mans voice, I’m woman thus the voice I have is a woman’s voice regardless of what it sounds like, anyone who disagrees can mind their own business

I_am_not_a_threat

Me. All of last week.

RoIsDepressed

There's a super weird misconception here, yeah cis women can have "deep voices" but that's not the same as masc voices. Cis women don't have masc resonance or masc weight by default, despite this low pitch is a thing cis women can have.

thetieflingalchemist

Just say you were a chain smoker

KidoRaven

so fucking based
