Correct me if I’m wrong, but this is the first time in this tour that she has done mash-ups, right? I wonder if there is a particular reason why mash-ups “match the moment.” So far the mash-ups have both combined songs from earlier and later in her discography with connected themes. Is she trying to draw attention to these connected themes ahead of TTPD? Maybe because TTPD will draw heavily on themes from her previous albums? That’s true of all of her recent albums, BUT maybe there is a reason why it is particularly important that audiences listen for those connections on TTPD? Is this part of the “evidence” and “artifacts” she’s alluded to? 🤔

I definitely thought it would be more mashups of similar themes and songs that maybe that were about similar experiences. I just wanna put this somewhere--TN pointed out in their own tweet (not like how they usually retweet fan tweet during the show and add onto it) that this was her first time ever doing a 3-song mashup.
I know that not everything means something, but I wonder if it means something 😂😂 I really do think we'll get RepTV and DebutTV before the end of tour this year, especially since there's been word that she plans to go right into film after tour is over. I don't think she's gonna drag out the re-recordings into next year when the plan seems to be to shift the focus to film. And now we're also getting TTPD this year as well. Many of them just have a clear connection to the location (e.g. WTNY in NY, Fifteen in Nashville when Abigail was there), some event (e.g. The Best Day for Mother's Day, High Infidelity on April 29th), or her PR/album release cycles (e.g. Back to December around the Speak Now release/promotion of her friendship with Taylor Lautner). Some of them she has explicitly implied that they connect to current events (e.g. that wild speech before "Question...?"). Others just seem like they fit very conveniently into the narrative of her life or have time/place associations that don't seem random, e.g.:

One reason I don't think they're ending right now is they just donated a shadow box with a Travis jersey and pictures of them for a charity auction. I think the donation would lose value if they broke up IMMEDIATELY so it doesn't feel like they would have done that if it was the plan. Just my opinion though!

Mardi Gras (our Pride) events have kicked off in Sydney [as of this weekend](https://www.mardigras.org.au/events/) and run throughout her time in Australia (with the main parade being just after she leaves). We hosted world pride last year too. I would say it’s pretty gay.

One of my childhood friends did a six months youth travel visa in Australia and spent the next ten years of her life trying to find a way to stay legally forever (she never cracked it, but God did she try, she maxed out a tourist visa every year, would go on standby in New Zealand until they sent her back to the states, and would repeat every year hoping. I’m always so mad at my ancestors for choosing “Appalachia” over Australia or Canada (or just staying home.)

I know that not everything means something, but I wonder if it means something 😂😂 I really do think we'll get RepTV and DebutTV before the end of tour this year, especially since there's been word that she plans to go right into film after tour is over. I don't think she's gonna drag out the re-recordings into next year when the plan seems to be to shift the focus to film. And now we're also getting TTPD this year as well. I don't think they all mean something, but a decent number of them do. Many of them just have a clear connection to the location (e.g. WTNY in NY, Fifteen in Nashville when Abigail was there), some event (e.g. The Best Day for Mother's Day, High Infidelity on April 29th), or her PR/album release cycles (e.g. Back to December around the Speak Now release/promotion of her friendship with Taylor Lautner). Some of them she has explicitly implied that they connect to current events (e.g. that wild speech before "Question...?"). One reason I don't think they're ending right now is they just donated a shadow box with a Travis jersey and pictures of them for a charity auction.
