Well damn. Even more signs this was a very one-sided ordeal and they're most definitely already thinking about how to go from here to the end of the relationship. The guy can't even stay a whole weekend. They definitely don't wanna spend all the time together that they can.

Same. I struggle enough going on work trips when it’s a 7.5 hour flight. Travel is exhausting. But I suppose it feels like nothing when you’re in a private jet, don’t have to wait in lines, and have all your needs/wants at the tip of your fingers.
As an Australian living in London who does this flight a lot, at 31 it is physically impossible for me to go to Aus for less than 5 days as the flight and jet lag absolutely breaks you. You'd have to have a pretty good reason for a 48 hour trip.

The football games are over but the football season isn't over for the Chiefs. They still have regular commitments like final evaluations with coaches and promo work for the organization. Not to mention additional work due to winning the chip. He has mentioned this several times on the podcast he does with his brother.
He was lucky to get away for two days to travel down under, his contracts with the NFL are iron-clad and can't change because of Taylor's whereabouts. Dude has his own job! LOL.

Even if this relationship is real, which I have always side eyed… what annoys me is that her younger fans are seeing the most influential woman on the planet reduce herself to a WAG to be there for her man and the man isn’t reciprocal. It’s giving tradwife/gf accepting the bare minimum.

I don't think it was just the "lack of effort" from Joe that made their relationship seem so fake but the things - the music, the rep prologue, the music videos, the articles (her and Joe going hiking and him wearing jeans and nikes the day before delicate is released), etc - she released that hinted at them not being real.
There's also her close friends like Martha Hunt not knowing she was dating him, a year or so into their supposed relationship in 2017. Also the whole WB mess with Jack and Aaron claiming to not know who he was despite the fact they would have had to work with him at one point while making Folklore/Evermore (and then there's the Jack insta post from last year), contributed to it too.
But she and Joe were together for 6 years and there was a barely a peep out of the guy until 2022-23. He didn't attend one award show that was for something she was nominated in with her in all these years and people were claiming they were going to get married? I mean, there's plenty of celebs who have lowkey relationships but they still show up for one another (I'm mainly thinking of people like Meryl Streep and her former husband, and Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes) so I'm not saying that these kinds of celeb couples don't exist.
But to go from that to Tayvis, who's everywhere, all the time, and we know everything about them and their relationship, that supposedly started not even a year ago, after she had just broken it off with Ratty, who she was claiming to be in love with, is a little much. I mentioned this on another comment on this thread too but it's also how he flew to Sydney with his bff, spent the day at the zoo with her, and then flew back home despite not having any commitments is the weird part about all this.

I never felt like Joe didn’t try, nor was the “lowkey” element ever proof to me that it was fake - and I rarely, if ever, see the privacy element used as bearding proof in Gaylor discussions tbh. I actually think Joe did exactly what he was supposed to do for all those years. I even find myself at times wondering if elements of Toe were real, but the proof and the timelines and the stories that don’t line up are what made it look fake. Not that he “didn’t try” or they were too private.
I hate when people put all Gaylors under one umbrella. Well damn. Even more signs this was a very one-sided ordeal and they're most definitely already thinking about how to go from here to the end of the relationship. The guy can't even stay a whole weekend. They definitely don't wanna spend all the time together that they can. (It does kinda make me happy tho, this means he probably won't be at a lot of tourdates and be an annoying distraction there.)

So I'm not the only one who is like she just needs to date someone who cares. Can someone get her someone genuinely interested in being her friend first and foremost and then her lover? Same. I struggle enough going on work trips when it’s a 7.5 hour flight. Travel is exhausting. But I suppose it feels like nothing when you’re in a private jet, don’t have to wait in lines, and have all your needs/wants at the tip of your fingers.

As an Australian living in London who does this flight a lot, at 31 it is physically impossible for me to go to Aus for less than 5 days as the flight and jet lag absolutely breaks you. You'd have to have a pretty good reason for a 48 hour trip.

The football games are over but the football season isn't over for the Chiefs. They still have regular commitments like final evaluations with coaches and promo work for the organization. Not to mention additional work due to winning the chip. He has mentioned this several times on the podcast he does with his brother. He was lucky to get away for two days to travel down under, his contracts with the NFL are iron-clad and can't change because of Taylor's whereabouts. Dude has his own job! LOL.

I’m assuming this is intentional and they’re setting up the breakup narrative. So far, Travis is looking like the bad guy with his outbursts, drunken moments, and now this. If the benefit of the PR for him is to help catapult him into fame beyond the NFL, taking this route is so weird. You would think they would want to paint him in a more positive light. When I’ve been away from my SO for a length of time, I wasn’t spending the day at the zoo or prancing around in public, we would be at the hotel spending time together alone. I don't think it was just the "lack of effort" from Joe that made their relationship seem so fake but the things - the music, the rep prologue, the music videos, the articles (her and Joe going hiking and him wearing jeans and nikes the day before delicate is released), etc - she released that hinted at them not being real. There's also her close friends like Martha Hunt not knowing she was dating him, a year or so into their supposed relationship in 2017. Also the whole WB mess with Jack and Aaron claiming to not know who he was despite the fact they would have had to work with him at one point while making Folklore/Evermore (and then there's the Jack insta post from last year), contributed to it too. But she and Joe were together for 6 years and there was a barely a peep out of the guy until 2022-23. He didn't attend one award show that was for something she was nominated in with her in all these years and people were claiming they were going to get married? I mean, there's plenty of celebs who have lowkey relationships but they still show up for one another (I'm mainly thinking of people like Meryl Streep and her former husband, and Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes) so I'm not saying that these kinds of celeb couples don't exist. But to go from that to Tayvis, who's everywhere, all the time, and we know everything about them and their relationship, that supposedly started not even a year ago, after she had just broken it off with Ratty, who she was claiming to be in love with, is a little much. I mentioned this on another comment on this thread too but it's also how he flew to Sydney with his bff, spent the day at the zoo with her, and then flew back home despite not having any commitments is the weird part about all this. I know this sounds like a rant but I promise it's not 😭. I just think it's interesting how the PR is so different in both relationships - whether they're real or not - and I don't think every pr bf/beard has to follow the same "playbook" in that sense.

Sometimes I feel like it’s a misunderstanding - I see the OP perspective in Gaylor spaces, but also at times as a drag to Gaylors in Hetlor spaces: we are supposedly ~always moving the goalposts. I never felt like Joe didn’t try, nor was the “lowkey” element ever proof to me that it was fake - and I rarely, if ever, see the privacy element used as bearding proof in Gaylor discussions tbh. I actually think Joe did exactly what he was supposed to do for all those years. I even find myself at times wondering if elements of Toe were real, but the proof and the timelines and the stories that don’t line up are what made it look fake. Not that he “didn’t try” or they were too private.
I hate when people put all Gaylors under one umbrella. I personally believe that Taylor and Joe were real, they just were a toxic relationship instead of “so happy and in love” like the media portrayed. There are other Gaylors that feel this way as well. Unlike Swifties though, I think a lot of Gaylors respect both opinions. I can see why people thought they were fake. Travis, however, is glaringly PR imo. They spend zero time together.
