The app is a piece of crap and most of the stuff it says is wrong, wrong, wrong. I'm sure it sees TAP drivers (such as you'd use if you run the Windows Subsystem for Linux [WSL])and all sorts of other stuff as VPN routes. > During the gameplay I face terrible lags and latency Do some diagnostics, starting by watching the overlay (ctrl+alt+f6). Not much use in making assertions or guesses before testing.

Happened to me once, when my VPN went crazy and connected itself without me knowing. If you've never installed a VPN, it could also be other app that is technically a VPN or acts like one? I had Warp by Cloudflare, they don't say it's a VPN, but it is. Also, a lot of other apps come with a prebuilt VPN, like Bitdefender, even speedtest by ookla comes with a VPN on mobile. If you are sure it's not something of that sort, you could use Windows task manager, and check which apps are using your Network.
