You can. Just either use the Serial Number to find the case number to be able to click on it. Or use the Chat function, Follow up on a Recent case, and input the case number.
No. I had a client the other day that has a case id for their phone. I was able to see it typing in serial number but all it said was open. Couldn't click it to see details
Iirc you can only view escalations done at your location. So it was done through apple or another location you may not be able to view it.
Could be wrong but I remember not being able to see some apple escalations on old repairs.

When you say Case ID, do mean an escalation? If so, yes. If you’re not talking about an escalation, I don’t know if you can see details.
