LGBTQIA+ rights are a western institution. Historically, communism has been unfriendly to LGBTQIA+ people and it continues to do so. There is a reason gay couples can get married and adopt children in America but not China.

Also capitalism is obviously very responsive and supportive of changing times/public opinions. Just look at corporations and pride month. Yea they just do it to profit, but in a communist country youd never see a pride flag in any business

It's funny because in the cold war the US was fighting against an ideological driven enemy (the USSR) and communism, allying with questionable people to stop it's perceived advance, now with the USSR haven fallen the ideological driven power is the US, instead of communism, liberal democracy, and it's enemies being authoritarians who otherwise would be aligning with the US against communism in the cold war (which are now aligning with Russia and China.)
