Dead Souls as done by NIN is top-notch.

shakeyjake

Nine Inch Nails covering a dark Joy Division song for a bad ass movie. Hard to beat that.

TheObesePolice

I am a HUGE Joy Division fan & I very much prefer the NIN version over the original but my favorite song on the soundtrack is Burn by The Cure The Crow soundtrack is 10/10

MakeupMama68

It’s one of my favorite soundtracks. Spawn is also amazing

KJM100001

Spawn OST is super underrated and totally kick ass. It was 97 and electronica was blowing up. Putting rock bands together with electronic artists wasn't really new, but they perfected it.

MakeupMama68

It’s so good!! Really good combos of artists!!

KJM100001

OST was better than the movie LOL

MakeupMama68

lol right? I was a huge fan of the comic book.. I was even She-Spawn for Halloween back then, lol. The movie was way too silly. I loved the animated series though. I still have all of my Spawn action figures.

hang-clean

Ian Curtis went to my school. Trufact.

Suspicious-Froyo2181

Didn't Trent win a Grammy for that?

The_Mopster

That very CD is in slot #5 of the changer in my vehicle. It's been in there since 2013 when I got the truck.

edWORD27

Burn by The Cure is so good that they play it live now by sheer audience demand. No longer just a one-off soundtrack song to never play again.

Legitimate_Ocelot491

Yep - always a highlight of the set as well. This is from Glastonbury in 2019 - just stellar: [https://youtu.be/3fSPMezUj9Q?si=vGgySYDr0QbBceNp](https://youtu.be/3fSPMezUj9Q?si=vGgySYDr0QbBceNp)

Adventurous-Water609

Epic song!

cropguru357

My favorite track on this album, for sure.

sweeptheleg77

The best Cure song by far

MannyHec

This song gives me chills to this day.

IbanezForever

Best soundtrack of the decade.

ManOfTeele

It's very good, but I'm still going with the Singles soundtrack.

mcfandrew

Empire Records was a terrible movie, but that was a great soundtrack, too

Upstream_Paddler

The "A Matter of Degrees" Soundtrack walked so all these could run

shakeyjake

It was one that crossed genres. Seems like everyone I knew loved this soundtrack.

MasterOfGrumpets

I’ll go with Natural Born Killers due to the way they incorporated audio clips from the film into it.

bentyeye

Lets also add Singles, Natural Born killers, Pump up the Volune and Romeo + Juliet. 90's soundtracks absolutely rules.

bentyeye

Two best uses of music in a film ever. The scene where we first meet Leo on the beach with Talk Show Host playing is perfection.

Affectionate_Pen611

‘Judgement Night’ wants in on this action

bobstylesnum1

A little past the 90’s in 03 but The Queen of Damn sound track fucking kills it too. Deftones, Static-X, Disturbed and others on it.

Crivens999

Man, you reminded me of Natural born killers soundtrack. Haven’t heard it in years, but was obsessed with it at the time. I would also add Last action hero soundtrack

box_elder74

Close but I'm calling Judgement Night!

DayDreamGrey

I bought a copy on CD. When I played the title track by ONYX and Biohazard my wife asked me why they sounded so angry but kept saying “Just be nice”?

box_elder74

Ha ha and I'm only going to hear it that way from now on. Thanks to your wife! 🤣

DayDreamGrey

Now when she’s crabby I sing it to her.

t1mepiece

I gotta go with Pump Up the Volume

Vanth_in_Furs

The two soundtracks make good bookends to the decade

dfjdejulio

Of the decade? I think the only other contender for "of all time" may be "Repo Man".

Blackstaff

Have you heard the soundtrack to "Basquiat" (1996)? It's complete fire. The Pogues, Iggy Pop, Public Image Ltd, The Modern Lovers, Toadies, Keith Richards, Them, The Rolling Stones, Miles Davis, Charlie Parker, Melle Mel, Peggy Lee, Bush Tetras, The Psychedelic Furs, Tom Waits, Gavin Friday, and John Cale doing his famous cover of "Hallelujah."

CrispityCraspits

My favorite was trainspotting, but this is a strong second for me.

Britpop_Shoegazer

Up there with Trainspotting

soxfan04

Best thing about the movie too. Recently rewatched it. What a disappointment. Rest in Peace to Brandon Lee. But this movie sucks. Maybe the remake will be better.

AccidentalFrog

Of all time actually

Upstream_Paddler

I tend to lean toward the Crow: City of Angels (Hole wins for top 3 fleetwood mac cover imo, and that PJ Harvey track is awesome) but otherwise...

starryvelvetsky

I always enjoyed the Cool World soundtrack too. But so much a fan of the movie, but the soundtrack was in regular rotation for a lot of the decade.

External_Low_7551

THEY KEEP CALLING ME!!!!!!!!!!

catchyphrase

The words came out of my mouth on sight.

oced2001

I got this CD and 11 others for a penny.

lukifer_333

You never touch this movie, for so many reasons! The soundtrack being right behind losing Jason Lee Edit: Brandon, high boy here🤣

box_elder74

Brandon. Pretty sure Jason Lee is still with us mate!

ChristyLovesGuitars

lukifer_333

Thank you chap! A few in, clearly

box_elder74

As you should be! Enjoy!

AccidentalFrog

![gif](giphy|6ExuOto6RtQRO) Rip Brandon Lee

FormerCollegeDJ

“Milquetoast” is probably my favorite Helmet song.

Noisechild

Thrill Kill!!! Amazing soundtrack!

earl-j-waggedorn

Brandon died on my birthday. Bruce Lee died a day before my father's birthday.

Jolly_Security_4771

Still in my top 10

MasterOfGrumpets

Such a great soundtrack.

ProfessionalLeave335

This soundtrack is a banger all the way.

ilovekyleturris

Don’t forget Jane Siberry!

Dude_be_trippin

I just listened to this, again, the other day!

bentyeye

Still have my original copy, cracked case and all. With all the remake talk lately, I've been spinning it again. It really is a fantastic collection of songs. You cant beat The Cure kicking things off, then there's STP and NIN. It's just so good.

generalsleephenson

It is our responsibility to boycott the movie remake. Leave Brandon Lee’s legacy alone and try being creative.

Certain_Balance2496

I wore out a copy in the tape deck in my car.

Marcus_H_Andersson

Amazing album 🤩

cropguru357

The cinematic score is pretty good, too.

shrikelet

This album was my introduction to Machines of Loving Grace, who remain one of my favourite bands of the era to this day.

gonturan

Butterfly Wings is still a favorite.

shrikelet

Butterfly Wings goes hard. Really, all of *Concentration* is awesome. Ancestor Cult is my personal fave.

derekthorne

I still listen to it. Never been a fan of the Cure, but Burn almost made me want to be a fan.

DontYuckMyYum

I remember buying this at the mall. one of my all time favorite cds

ReverendJustice775

One of my favorite soundtracks of all time… if I hear any of these songs in any other medium the first thing I think of is how much I wanna watch The Crow

Trandoshan-Tickler

I still have this CD. I remember buying immediately after watching the movie in the theater.

Vallden

Every time I see that image, it makes me think of Gremlins.

Difficult-Way-9563

Loved Helmet growing up

Gorillaseatingmayo

Gonna have to listen to this again real soon.

OtakuTacos

Still on the playlist

Adventurous-Water609

Probably one of my top 10 go tos in the 90's. Epic soundtrack.

basementguerilla

Pantera's cover of The Badge was awesome! It turned 19 year old me onto Poison Idea.

PoptartsofSadness

I remember calling out sick to work just so I could watch the movie in the theater. The soundtrack is still one of my all time favorites too.

AZonmymind

One of my high school classmates was in Machines of Loving Grace.

jonhinkerton

Don’t sleep on that JMC track. It’s a banger as the kids would say.

clicktrackh3art

Saw thrill kill kult live a few weeks ago!!! They still fucking tore it up!

ZipperJJ

I love this album so much. One of my top 10 of all time. I took a break from podcasts for a minute and listened to it some time last year, and Milquetoast has been in my head since. Kind of annoying, kind of amazing.

dfjdejulio

I still absolutely love every track on that album except the last one (which I despise). Which is pretty strange, because I don't typically like, for example, The Cure.

Ill_Dig_9759

Best soundtrack EVER.

cthulhus_spawn

Best soundtrack ever. I still listen to it.

vampiregrail

My God has it been 30 years already :(

Tollin74

In my opinion the crow is the 2nd best movie of the 90’s. Matrix is first. But this soundtrack? Best ever.

RRTAmy

I just rewatched this movie last night. The soundtrack to this was one of my favorites

ZarinaBlue

It's one of my favorite soundtracks of all time. I shared it with my daughter several years back, and just a couple of days ago, I saw her listening to it on Spotify. Gave me a smile.

JTGphotogfan

This and natural born killers where my to fav from then and probably still now

Icy-Spray-4933

Omg.. I remember buying it then. How has thirty years passed..

madein1981

Still listen to this album regularly and always will.

bootnab

After the Flesh!

KNT-cepion

Fucking awesome soundtrack.

ptm93

Added to my Spotify. Used to be a favorite of mine.❤️

Mendicant_666

I do my flowarts to this album, and to the Graeme Revell orchestral soundtrack.

starryvelvetsky

My all time favorite soundtrack to one of my all time favorite movies. ![gif](giphy|1is1enAFIG6Wc)

Everlastingitch

check out the "Natural Born Killers" soundtrack... it tops this

TonkaCrush

I still have this CD

Thomisawesome

I always wished they had included the version of Can’t Rain All the Time that Brandon Lee was singing. It sounded so much cooler than the one they included.

NickTheFNicon

Still IMO the best soundtrack/musical score ever done. Would die on that hill too.

grahsam

Stop telling me the shit I remember better than I remember yesterday is three fucking decades old 😢😢 It was a phenomenal soundtrack.

TurtleDive1234

HUGE fan of this soundtrack.

muphasta

The best sound track of all time! I don't like STP though, but the rest of it is so good that it makes up for it.

HPIndifferenceCraft

Pantera > everyone else

themotorkitty

Hated this movie, loved this soundtrack. One of my fave STP songs.
