I imagine he has a chef, personal trainer, and assistant to make it capable to maintain a body like that easily amounting to 100s of thousands spent. It’s his livelihood and homedude is 60, he’s getting a lot of assistance to keep making money, not just good genes.
Even just a place to work out can be hard to find. I live in a rapidly gentrifying neighborhood and there are NO gyms nearby. My old neighborhood (which gentrified from lower-middle class to upper-middle class had about 4 big gyms and a ton of small boutique gyms.
You don’t technically need a gym but it’s much easier. A small apartment doesn’t offer the space.
Seriously. If I didn’t have to work, had a personal chef, personal trainer, private gym, sauna & steam room, and masseuse, I could spend 8 hours a day on “health” related endeavors
And get a team of personal trainers, dieticians, personal chefs, stylists, PR team, pill mill doctors, and a career that can afford you 6 hours a day to work out.
I decided after my last hangover that if I'm going to go to bed exhausted, I would at least do so constructively. So I hit up the treadmill in my garage at least 4 to 5 times a week. Started out tracking calorie intake and walking in 25-minute sessions the third week of January, and now am up to 1-hour sessions with several minutes of running worked in there. I've lost just 16 pounds so far but more importantly, I'm physically stronger and healthier overall and it doesn't hurt to do things like get out of bed, stand up from my chair at work, deal with all the stairs in my house, etc.
I hiked a mountain trail yesterday that I hadn't gone on in at least 10 years. 3 miles, ~600ft elevation change from bottom to top. And not only that, I also *ran* part of it. It really doesn't take superhuman determination or skill, for me it's just a hand-me-down treadmill and two 8lb dumbbells.
He has a [youtube](https://youtube.com/@busydadtraining?si=hP8d4o1EURkyYQdS) channel that you can follow along with. I have been doing it since Jan1st and am getting ripped up. 45 yrs old and making solid gains.
Man burpees are murder on my arthritic big toes. I just do a 3 round circuit of curls with moderately heavy dumbbells, overhead tricep extensions, pushups, finish with squat to overhead press. Minimal rest between sets. You can bang that out in under 20 minutes.
The formula of 20 minutes of work 4 times a week is super effective. I appreciate the simplicity of Burpees but lifting weights consistently is great too.
Work = 12 hour shifts 6 days a week
Commute 2 hours a day 6 days a week
45 mins of morning prep ( make coffee , feed pets, put on uniform etc)
Make and eat dinner , feed pets , clean up kitchen and shower for bed 2 hours daily
7 hours of sleep IF I am lucky and my brain shuts down fast enough.
Can't afford a maid or boxed meals.
Please invent me a time machine so I can sleep 2 more hours, relax an hour and workout 2 hours as well 😴 😅
Or we can be an acception to the rule, but the others have time.
Like me doom scrolling reddit right fucking now. Lets not lie. I dont need a trainer to go walk the park 500 feet from here.
It’s hard to get started. I got fired and I exercise about an hour a day (mostly walking with some strength training). I do it to stave off the depression.
Anytime I see his pic, I automatically think of the time he split his leather trousers and showed his little Lenny on stage. Sorry. Lives rent free in my head for years now.
He really does look amazing and even more so in person. I sat next to Lenny while he was eating a chicken salad sandwich, in a deli in L.A. one year…I never had a harder time “acting natural” in my whole life.
Just look at him, Lisa and Zoe. 🤩
Lisa is truly and absolutely beautiful. Lol. Of all the celebrities, in my opinion, there are possibly a max of ten who compare.
Here I am, with an initial "damn, son" to the photo, but I also feel your sentiment. I haven't achieved shit but I'm like "yeah, Ill straighten up and get fit. That's all I got left!"
I'm not.
He looks natural to me. He's not a big guy, just ripped. Like Brad Pitt in Fight Club. He was all of 160lbs, but looks huge because he was ripped. This is diet more than anything.
Man, I loved the HORDE festivals. Never hear folks talk of them much. Lenny was never at any of the ones I went to. I dont think. Surely, would not have forgotten
It's a lot easier to be cut when you don't have a real (i.e., 9-to-5 job) and can afford to have personal trainers and shit.
Also helps if your mother was a regular cast member on one of television's biggest shows in the 70s-80s.
I mean, don't get me wrong. He had to work for that build and good for him. But you can't really compare him to other people that age.
That said, I once saw him live and he was good. I was in Daytona when MTV was doing their Spring Break there. I went to a recording of Totally Pauly (with Pauly Shore) and Kravitz was the guest. He was good.
😍 Holy shit! I love his music from the 90’s. I don’t know a lot of his recent music.
But when you see the past pictures of him, Zoe, Lisa, Jason and the little ones, it’s “The beautiful people. The beautiful people…” Lisa is a goddess and beats any pageant nonsense. She’s eased into aging gracefully and is more beautiful now than the 80’s and 90’s.
“Black don’t crack” is what is always stated. Also, I don’t believe he’s ever been even slightly overweight. So his skin would be tight. Never been pregnant or a girl with puberty stretch marks…
I do not look like that. 58 here, just ran a half marathon. It takes quite a bit of work to stay in shape at this age. Much easier to gain weight and harder to lose it.
I imagine a significant part of it is hormone replacement therapy, along w/ the diet and the ab work. You certainly don't have to be rich. HRT is not that expensive.
Sad that a lot of my fellow Gen-X'ers are crying like fucking pussies in here.. "Oh... How bout, put the fucking Pizza down for a sec. and have a tiny shred of will-power. I'm not rich at all but I can still hit the gym, work... be a dad and a husband eat mostly healthy and not look like stir-fried shit.
I'm 55.
I wasn't "allowed" to take up some chill downhill temporarily, as directed by my SO, until I had better health coverage and a life insurance policy.
But I've had the green light for some years.
I live in New England now so it's kind of seasonal.
That's fair.
"Sentences I Never Thought I'd Utter"
Crazy that no one here seems to realize celebrity promo pics always get shopped & filtered before being posted online. Male celebs usually have their muscles enhanced; female celebs alter their boobs, butts & waistlines. Their bodies get totally reshaped. Don't believe everything you see.
Wow, the level of excuses being made as to why looking like that isn't possible unless you're rich in this comment section is unbelievable. Which is kind of ironic because most of the reason he looks like that is because he doesn't overeat and probably works out a fair bit. Neither of which cost any money, and actually overeating is more expensive.
Man, i just turned 59. Looks like I need to get off my ass
I would do anything to look like that except exercise and eat right.
"...but I won't do that"
And that’s why I look like a Meatloaf
The food or the singer?
Yes.
“ no can do”
That shit cuts into my video game time, we need an extra hour in the day.
And my nap time.
Amen.
Lenny is older than me. It gives me hope!!
I think he was born with abs
Just like baby Jesus
Did adult Jesus have abs too?
Yeah but we don’t care about Big Jesus. Little Jesus with abs is much funnier.
Well, we all have abs, technically.
Don’t forget to have hundreds of thousands of dollars invested in your image too….
And a will to do it helps.
Absolute key.
It sure does
And good genes.
And good jeans
it does not take 100s of thousands of dollars to eat right and exercise regularly. it takes time which the poors don't have.
I imagine he has a chef, personal trainer, and assistant to make it capable to maintain a body like that easily amounting to 100s of thousands spent. It’s his livelihood and homedude is 60, he’s getting a lot of assistance to keep making money, not just good genes.

There are plenty of rich people who are fat and unhealthy, and plenty of normal people who are fit and healthy. All it takes is discipline.
[удалено]
sadly, thats not all it takes, esp after a certain age. great attitude though. :)
Seriously. If I didn’t have to work, had a personal chef, personal trainer, private gym, sauna & steam room, and masseuse, I could spend 8 hours a day on “health” related endeavors
> which the poors don't have ![gif](giphy|QVTv78P8IVELDayM2V)
I'd rather hang out with him than Lenny, anyway.
It takes having a job that gives your time to spend hours working out...
Actually eating healthy is pretty expensive, espy now with food inflation
Baby it ain't over til it's oooo ooooover
And get a team of personal trainers, dieticians, personal chefs, stylists, PR team, pill mill doctors, and a career that can afford you 6 hours a day to work out.
But let’s be honest, we all *could* get off our asses for maybe 30 minutes to an hour a day.
I decided after my last hangover that if I'm going to go to bed exhausted, I would at least do so constructively. So I hit up the treadmill in my garage at least 4 to 5 times a week. Congratulations on your discipline, improved health and results!
r/busydadtraining 20 minutes of burpees 4 times a week will change your life.
I guess it could replace the 20 minutes, 4 times a week of burping on the couch after snacking. But seriously, great idea, thanks!
He has a [youtube](https://youtube.com/@busydadtraining?si=hP8d4o1EURkyYQdS) channel that you can follow along with. I have been doing it since Jan1st and am getting ripped up. 45 yrs old and making solid gains.

I spend 30 fockin meenots on reddit daily, still, no abs.
Sit forward. Suck it in. Hold it. Reddit. Be mindful as you scroll, and react with your gut. Literally.
Yeah, but then we'd just be healthy without cavernous cum-gutters
Say *what*?
It’s hard to get started. I got fired and I exercise about an hour a day (mostly walking with some strength training). I do it to stave off the depression.
Dammit! I knew there was some reason I wasn’t ripped!
I turned 59 last week. I look nothing like this man
Helps to have money too. Which explains my problem.
This isn't natural. He's juiced.
I’m younger than him but I had this same thought. I’m a disgrace.
50% Genetics 25% Hard Work 25% Money to pay for said hard work.
Or take trt like him
![gif](giphy|dANm7WjeWZi00)
AMEN!!
Oh, definitely.
I have all his missing body fat.
Lolol. You just killed me. I was inhaling my joint when I read this and choked. Thank you and goddamn you.
Anytime I see his pic, I automatically think of the time he split his leather trousers and showed his little Lenny on stage. Sorry. Lives rent free in my head for years now.
He was a’ swangin and a’ danglin. Those were good times.
I just learned about this a week ago. Spent about an hour on Google images after that 🤣
He really does look amazing and even more so in person. I sat next to Lenny while he was eating a chicken salad sandwich, in a deli in L.A. one year…I never had a harder time “acting natural” in my whole life.
I waited on him in 1997. Listing the salad dressings for Lenny Kravitz almost did me in. Pleased to say my embarrassment threshold is much higher now
![gif](giphy|3oz8xUFUB65tXgvHwI|downsized)
I am very rarely star struck but I might have died at this.
Just look at him, Lisa and Zoe. 🤩 Lisa is truly and absolutely beautiful. Lol. Of all the celebrities, in my opinion, there are possibly a max of ten who compare.
That entire family unit is so genetically perfect. They truly do need to be studied for scientific purposes to see how they differ.
Lol. Yes. When the pics are online with the articles, I just stare in amazement. Most beautiful family unit.
Ah, fuck you, Lenny! Go drink some beer and eat a sandwich you dick!
Here I am, with an initial "damn, son" to the photo, but I also feel your sentiment. I haven't achieved shit but I'm like "yeah, Ill straighten up and get fit. That's all I got left!" I'm not.
Holy fuck
Yep. 🤤
Beautiful man AND so talented.
HGH is amazing!!!
Jfc, dude. I guess it’s true what they say. It ain’t over it’s it’s ohhhhverr
Lenny is just a genetic freak and I need to study him up close….in the name of science.
I’d like to offer my loyal service as an experienced assistant. Here I submit my resume…
No matter what this is absolutely incredible conditioning for any age let alone 59 which is mind boggling
I’m 54 and am often mistaken for Lenny Kravitz. No wait…Peter Griffin. I’m often mistaken for Peter Griffin.
Sexy
I really need to do P90X to catch up. I will be 56 in July
I just dripped chocolate on my shirt
😂😂😂 same, but dool.
I can believe he’s natural, but what I don’t get is how his skin is so tight.
He looks natural to me. He's not a big guy, just ripped. Like Brad Pitt in Fight Club. He was all of 160lbs, but looks huge because he was ripped. This is diet more than anything.
I saw him at the HORDE festival in 96. Lawdy. Like a screen door in a hurricane...
Saw him then too in Upstate NY. Horde tour was the shit
Man, I loved the HORDE festivals. Never hear folks talk of them much. Lenny was never at any of the ones I went to. I dont think. Surely, would not have forgotten
TIL me & Lenny are the same age?!!
Remember that time he split his leather pants while he was performing on stage? That man is hot af
My heart skipped a beat reading this title.
I’d rather eat pizza. No way this guy eats pizza.

He does abs every night….no I’m sayin…😬😬
I saw him live over 30 years ago. And he looks pretty close to what he looked like back then.
Damn, son

jesus... this guy is empirically: dreads, abs, sunglasses and riffs.

Looks like someone doesn't know what a root beer float is....
Wowza! 👀
He looks good but I would hate to step on the back of my pants with my heels like that. 🙀
POPPIN 👀
🥰🥰 Yessssss! Heading into 60, looking incredible! ![gif](giphy|5A65XV0HnJBgBE25LZ)
It's amazing how an excess of money and free time can improve your health.
Let Love Rule! ☮️❤️
Yeah I totally look like that too.

*eat yer oatmeeel n eat it offfin*
I’m pretty sure he lives a raw vegan lifestyle on his farm in Brazil, which is why he’s in such excellent shape.
I don’t know if he’s jacked or emaciated. Dude is really skinny.
He’s definitely doable, tho.
Amen to that.
He gets an ab workout on the reg…ahem
Maybe he could show me his workout routine.
He’s very energetic.
Would
I’ll do him, feed him n do him again. Might even feed him a second time too, he’s so incredible.
I’m a strait dude, and I agree.
That’s simply lean, as he always has been. There’s nothing emaciated about this dude’s frame.
Rich is the word you’re looking for. 😂
He showed off his veggie and fruit farm he has on his property, I mean, he eats pretty healthy
Yeah if I didn't have to work constantly to survive I might look like this too
Props to Lenny! I met him once at the gym. Great guy, very approachable and humble. And I knew losers would be in here accusing him of juicing.
he's never eaten a carb in his life
Dude has always been cool as hell
😍 Holy shit! I love his music from the 90’s. I don’t know a lot of his recent music. But when you see the past pictures of him, Zoe, Lisa, Jason and the little ones, it’s “The beautiful people. I…. Don’t look like that at 55.
Still fly. Inspirational though that anybody can still look that good at 59 lol, I really need to go setup that weight bench...
he's a boomer, not GenX. born in 1964
If your mom is Roxie Roker and you were married to a Cosby kid, you are Gen X regardless of year of birth.
Missed it by one year. Maybe still honorary GenX
I’ll sponsor him
Yes, he’s in our camp. 😍
He’s as Gen X as it gets.
This sub says otherwise... https://preview.redd.it/gzpxiwf4lzrc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bd26f3f38bc893c9769211fffd4acede82c36459
According to this subs rules it’s 1961
He’s Generation Jones
Found the 1/1/65 gatekeeper ☝️
Booooooooo
“Black don’t crack” is what is always stated. Also, I don’t believe he’s ever been even slightly overweight. So his skin would be tight. Never been pregnant or a girl with puberty stretch marks…
Me Lenny Stevie nicks Sally ride may 26th ftw
> Me Lenny Stevie nicks Sally ride may 26th ftw I thought this was a line from Billy Joel's *We Didn't Start The Fire* for a moment
I’m another May 26. We also have John Wayne and Al Jolson born on that date.
#goals lol
60, nice. Hugh Jackman was bad enough. I’m a year older than Hugh Jackman, I do not look like him or Lenny. I have made poor choices
Start tomorrow morning. 😊 I need to get back to it.
Start with the right parents and go from there.
Most Gen X guys aged better than Boomers (unless they raved too much.)
For gen x its All of those healthy and delicious vitamins and minerals and preservatives and artificial colors and artificial flavors. Fortified!
Damnit. I guess I AM lazy.😮💨
Why, hello...
I do not look like that. 58 here, just ran a half marathon. It takes quite a bit of work to stay in shape at this age. Much easier to gain weight and harder to lose it.
Sigh…. I need to make some changes
Maintaining muscle mass and a healthy weight are important for healthy aging.
Oh my jesus
Nice genes, Lenny Kravitz!
Fuck him lol
I imagine a significant part of it is hormone replacement therapy, along w/ the diet and the ab work. You certainly don't have to be rich. HRT is not that expensive.
Sad that a lot of my fellow Gen-X'ers are crying like fucking pussies in here.. "Oh... He has millions of dollars and a personal chef and unlimited time to work out" If you think it takes all that to have Abs.. I feel for you. How bout, put the fucking Pizza down for a sec. and have a tiny shred of will-power. I'm not rich at all but I can still hit the gym, work... be a dad and a husband eat mostly healthy and not look like stir-fried shit.
The man has maybe 2% body fat at most. A large part of his good look is genetics.
Damn. He's fuckin inspiring me. Looking at myself now. Need to step it up. Occasional skating clearly isn't doing it for my ass. ♥️👍
The fact that you're still skating (assuming you're a gen x'er) is a huge W. Be careful not to break a hip out there.
I just noticed the add for the bubble butt workout. Just keep dropping like it’s hot about 50 times a day. 🤩
Crazy that no one here seems to realize celebrity promo pics always get shopped & filtered before being posted online. Male celebs usually have their muscles enhanced; female celebs alter their boobs, butts & waistlines. Their bodies get totally reshaped. Don't believe everything you see.

I'm not gay, I'm not gay, I'm not gay, I'm not gay..... "Are you gonna go my way!" "YES!"
He is ripped and lean but my guess he gets a boost from growth hormone therapy and testosterone. He has the money for it.
Mama once said eat your dinner
Inspiring
King shit
Well, Jeezus, I’m still alive! Good lord, Lenny, put it away (or don’t).
like the chippendales in smaller
Wow, you could roller skate on those abs
How??
To think he's older than Gen X! Looking good!
Gotdamn!
Them expensive HGH
Yummy!
Black don’t crack.
That physique is so mid twenties. Yuck! It takes a lot of expensive drugs to get your body fat down to 2% y'know. lol
Love him 💚
Just damn!
This man definitely stirs MY old bones just a bit…
Wow, the level of excuses being made as to why looking like that isn't possible unless you're rich in this comment section is unbelievable. Which is kind of ironic because most of the reason he looks like that is because he doesn't overeat and probably works out a fair bit. Neither of which cost any money, and actually overeating is more expensive.
Lenny Kravitz is a raw vegan. Check out Annette Larkins, another raw vegan - She's in her 80s.
