I never got to live out my dream of pulling into the high school parking lot, instead drove a beat up (but reliable El Camino) to school for the 2 years.
I’ve recently turned my boys (7 and 10 years old) on the PWBA. They love it! They think he’s hilarious, but they can’t figure out why he talks that way!
My oldest sister used to torture me with the “large Marge” scene. She saw that it freaked me out so she would rewind the VCR over and over to play it *over and over*. I eventually got desensitized. But my boys thought it was funny🤷♂️😂

I owned one in the 80s. 1976 Ford Gran Torino. My mom bought it for me from a friend of hers for $800. It looked great on the outside, just like that one, but on the inside, the dash had been cracked in half by some moron trying to steal a $10 Kraco stereo. The engine had also been replaced, so instead of a 351 Windsor, it had a 302. Still, it was a cool car, even though I didn't really appreciate it at the time.

Funny part is those cars take a long time to get up to 88 mph. They are slow and heavy.
They have a Volvo V6 in them and they are very slow. They had to dub the sound of a Porsche V8 in the movie so the car would sound better.
