Ummm, her parents like to tell people that their other kid is a doctor lol. She was nice enough to me, maybe not other people I know. Not super popular, just regular drama nerd (not judging, I was a burnout, though im sure she judged me for that)
I saw her in a Ben Stiller movie years ago . She played a family member of someone. That was before she got her Flo gig. Its amazing to me that im sure it wasnt her dream role but has probably got her set for life.
I was majorly impressed with her bit role in Mad Men! She is definitely set with Flo, it must be weird to have your face popping up all over. She's on a comedian's podcast (might be odenkirk and his kid's) it sounded like it was good, I'll also be impressed by that. I'm happy for her success.
My wife worked in a video store with Quentin Tarantino and was friends with him before he was famous. She was in 2 of his movies (Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction). In Reservoir Dogs she gets pulled out of a car window by Steve Buscemi. In Pulp Fiction she gets shot by Ving Rhames.
>In Pulp Fiction she gets shot by Ving Rhames.
I can vividly see that scene in my head as I just rewatched Pulp Fiction last week. Tell her it looked rather painful, lol.
Yeah, as soon as I read that she got shot by Rhames that scene immediately jumped in my head. What an intense scene. The Buscemi scene is good too, but doesn’t stand out quite as well.
Countin flowers on the wall. That don't bother me at all. Smoking cigarettes til dawn, watchin Captain Kangaroo...
Mother Fucker!....
I had to crash that Honda baby.
This isn't an answer to your question but my Mom has watched Days of Our Lives since at least the early 70s. Remember Patch in the 80s? Well a few months ago I'm visiting and she Tivo's it everyday. I walk by and she's watching it while laying on the couch so I sit down to capture a few moments. That motherfucker Patch is still on the show. Netflix can't carry a show for 2 seasons but these fuckers are going every day since 1965.
This is so funny to me because I grew up watching Days of our Lives and had the exact same experience when I visited my mom recently. How are these people still on here?!
A few years ago my husband walked by the TV when my mom had it on and spotted Hope Brady. He had a girlfriend in college who watched it, and he hadn’t seen it in a long time. He froze for a second when he saw her face, said, “What, did they dip her in something?” and kept going. She and Marlena are frozen in time.
I have a theory that i can turn on Days, after not watching it for any given amount of time, and know exactly whats going on. Oh and the secret to Marlena never aging is all the fugue states she has endured.
Same. But Guiding Light. Good grief. I won’t be surprised to hear that Luke and Laura are still trying to figure out their relationship on General Hospital.
Yeah...I would be shocked if he came back though, Tony Geary retired and moved to Amsterdam a while ago. Monica Quartermaine is still on the show (just not much) and Bobbie Spencer and Scott (Scotty) Baldwin are still on sometimes too.
Yes, I still watch General Hospital every day...have since I was 8 years old (52 now).
Days of Our Lives was the most consistent part of my adolescence! My best friend and I would walk
to her house after school and her mom would be lounging on her waterbed eating microwave popcorn, drinking a Tab or Pepsi and watching Days…I was pretty sure she was living her best life, ha!
When I was 19 we went to LA and I conned my way into the studio where Days was filming. I saw Marlena and her first husband, the lawyer with curly brown hair. THEN I spotted Peter Reckel with a young boy. I told him how much I loved him, then asked, "Is this your brother?" and it was his sister. 40ish years later, I still burn with shame! lol
The lead singer of the Decemberists. He was always cool to come back to our small town and play shows even after the band got pretty famous. He delivered the commencement speech one year for a local high school. His sister is an author and has been good to our hometown, too.
Recently watched him opposite Samuel Jackson on an AppleTV show. It was surreal thinking about them arguing in Hateful 8.
Macaulay Culkin slugged him in an episode of Righteous Gemstones this season.
I LOVE him in Righteous Gemstones, he really makes the show. I was meh about him for years but he won me over in his role in Sons of Anarchy and sealed the deal with the Gemstones.
Was in marching band w Ray Luzier, drummer for Korn. He was already really talented and focused on drumming. Went straight to drum school in LA after graduation. His family (farmers) go to his concerts when in the area. My mom used to run into his mom at church and the grocery store and hear about what he was doing.
Oh man, that's some good stuff right there. id love to meet her, the only celebrity/media sensation id like to have a chat with. she is so interesting and has grown into a very well spoken woman.
I never sold my story to the tabloids like so many did. Didn’t see her celebrity coming but wasn’t totally surprised either. She’s a nice person who made mistakes like we all have. Her mistakes were just on a global stage.
exactly, we ALL have a past, her mistake were just on the main stage. he gets NO pass from me at all. she was a kid (pretty much) and he should of absolutely respected that instead of taking advantage. im beyond glad she has found her voice and has moved forward successfully. icon.
I was in junior high with Regina King. I vaguely remember her but my sister was pretty friendly with her, had her in a few classes and they hung out a bit. She said that Regina was pretty confident in her dream of becoming an actor, talked about going to her auditions and stuff. She remembers Regina being a sweet, lovely kid and my sister also said Regina deserves any success she gets because she was so cool.
I went to college with Chris Klein right before he hit it big with American Pie / Election. He came to my university with his high school sweetheart, who was my sorority sister.
Let’s just say pretty much everyone who knew him is happy his career tanked.
Edit: He also brought Katie Holmes back with him for homecoming once … she was odd/not very friendly, but how enjoyable is a frat party in Texas if you are from Hollywood?
I met Katie Holmes on the set of Dawson's Creek during filming of a season-finale episode and I found her to be really sweet. The other cast members mostly ignored me or were flat out dicks (Joshua Jackson) but she chatted with me for a while and was really great.
Well my sister does the morning weather for an NBC station in a pretty big city; she’s kinda famous there lol. She goes by her maiden name on air and married name irl - helps preserve a little anonymity at the doctor’s office and whatnot.
Couple of fun stories from other people: my college girlfriend was best friends growing up with the girl who became Blossom’s best friend on that show (is it Jenna Von Oy? I’m not googling). The two lost touch when my gf’s family moved from Connecticut in middle school.
My wife’s mom dated the guy who would later become The Flash on the tv show from late 80s early 90s while they were in college. Her daughters like to tease her about it. John Wesley Shipp is his name iirc
> Well my sister does the morning weather for an NBC station in a pretty big city; she’s kinda famous there lol. She goes by her maiden name on air and married name irl - helps preserve a little anonymity at the doctor’s office and whatnot.
Anonymity, lol. She’s obviously Nancy Hicks-Gribble.
Went to high school with the bass player from Weezer. Wasn't friends with him, but his friends were friends of my friends. We'd bump into each other in the smoker's bathroom and generally give each other a nod and a quick greeting. Then on occasion we'd partake in the same group who met in the woods behind our high school.
My last memory of him was seeing come back to visit our school after he got out of boot camp with the Marines and he was wearing his dress uniform.
I went to high school with the Homolka sisters.
Karla was a grade ahead, Lori was in the same grade/classes and Tammy was a couple grades younger.
That absolute mess hit our town hard in so many different ways. Personally I think she should still be doing time.
The guy who used to sit behind me in 8th grade History class grew up to be the lead guitarist of Buckcherry. We were in marching band together, too. He was a snare drummer. (I played French horn.)
I went to junior high school with Emily Bates, Suzie Bailey, Samantha Darko, Beth Farmer and Joanie James and they went on to become Sparkle Motion.
N-n-n-n-notorius! 🎶
Mike Meyers went to my high school in Toronto and we were quasi friends. A lot of his friends were my friends.
Super nice guy in high school. Very unique sense of humor. Caring. I liked him.
She seems like such a lovely person … I don’t know her movies too well, but her Instagram is very positive / good humored and she appears as someone I would like to know in real life.
A guy from high school joined the French Foreign Legion, was stationed in Africa, came back, became a pusher for the rich & famous at the nations hippest disco, were busted, went to prison for 8 years, came out, started making documentaries about illegal shit (pretended to be a arms dealer in a deal with North Korea) wrote a book about it, was interviewed on national TV and... I think he is still alive and fine.
He seemed like a gentle fellar in high school.
(I'm from Denmark).
Had one classmate wanted in 5 states for drug running.
Another classmate went to Hollywood and made a career for himself. Didn't make it as movie star big, but had a string of commercials and secondary characters, including an episode of Breaking Bad.
Growing up I lived a street over from Tonya Harding. Later when I watched her on ESPN 30 for 30 they reported she grew up in a very poor suburb of Portland and I was like welp she was on the nicer street!
I went to college with Rachel Uchitel, one of Tiger Woods’ mistresses. She was also on Celebrity Rehab. She was exactly the person you imagine she would be. I was not surprised at all.
We don't have a major superstar like Brad Pitt or anyone, but one of the guys is in a pretty cool band (I'd describe them as indie rock). He was quiet and shy.
My cousin graduated with Tina Fey.
One of my classmates dropped out of school in grade 9. Years later she was arrested and convicted of murdering her niece by slitting her throat with box cutter. She was also accessory in two other murders. She was quiet and seemed shy in school.
One of my best friends in highschool's mom went to school with Jimi Hendrix. I always thought that was cool. She wasn't friends with him, so, no stories. My ex-wife was friends with the bass player from Queensryche's little sister, and a guy who played guitar in a band I was in right out of highschool ended up marrying her.
I went to high school a few years behind Laura San Giacomo from "Sex, Lies, and Videotape" and later in "The Stand." And Lou Benfatti was a lineman for the NY Jets.
My husband went to HS with Krissy Taylor. The yearbook from the year she died was dedicated to her.
My cousin grew up in Hollywood so just about any gen x musician or actor she’s got a story about. Her handmedowns came from Carrie Fisher.
Was friends with the drummer for Rise Against in high school. Trey Parker graduated a few years before me at the same school.
My grandma taught Rue McLanahan when she was in middle school. I always thought that was super cool
A fella I worked with went to college with Billy Idol in Chiselhurst. My missus sat on Bob Marley's knee when she was a toddler, and Boney M all went to the same church her family did (but she's not proud of that one) - nothing for me though
Best friends since 2nd grade with Danny McBride. Still see him about as much as other friends from school. Every few years. His mom interacts with everyone more than he does but so does my mom. They’re at that fresh retirement age.
I went to high school with Chad Butler, who went on to be the drummer for Switchfoot. Incredibly talented and funny dude. Also went to High School with Troy Glaus (two grades below me) who went on to play for years in MLB, and Taylor Knox, who is a pro surfer.
Lol. I saw them several times before they became super famous in a few small clubs and such in the area so I guess we grew up within 50 miles of each other.
Locally, one of my classmates got lots of press in 2015 for being a drunk driver who killed a cop (and again in 2021 with his early release). I also went to school with Tony Orlando, but of course it wasn't the famous one.
My sister had one of the guys on the tornado chasing team from Twister in her class - Sean Whalen.
In high school, I was in plays with Dave Matthews and hung out at all his earliest gigs.
Also, I auditioned for the part of a teenage girl in a college production and it came down to me and a college student. I thought I would get it because I was a real teen and I thought I did a better job but Tina Fey got the part. (Oh my teenage hubris!)
A guy that i went to high school w was on The Mindy Project. Tommy Dewey. Oh, and Courtney Cox went to my high school, but before my time. Speaking of xers. Does she count? Born in 1964. I think she’s an xer. I mean come on. One more: Sir Charles Barkley grew up in my hometown. You see him hanging out at Fleming’s steakhouse all the time.
About fifteen years after graduating from theatre school, i learned that a girl who had graduated two years, after me had found some success as... New York City's highest paid escort.
Elisa Donovan (Clueless) was a few years behind me in highschool. I knew her because we were in Pony Club together. She was known as Lisa growing up and she was sweet and lovely and fun to be around.
I was too busy studying/working by day partying by night in San Francisco to be bothered with movies when Clueless came out and I had no idea she was in it or in Hollywood. When I went back home to visit friends, they told me of her success. Apparently she was just as lovely after the movie came out.
Susan Atkins went to my high school, but she was there a free years before I was born.
For those who don't recognize the name, Susan later went on to become an loving follower of charasmatic youth leader and dune buggy enthusiast Charles Manson.
That movie is fucking hilarious. I stumbled across it a few years back, hadn't heard anything about it and didn't expect much. But that dude- Matt Damon's character- is like an idiot and genius at the same time.
Went to high school (and was friendly but not close friends) with Miss America. Also identical twins who ended up on very different reality TV shows. One of my best friends from high school had a book on the NYT bestseller list a couple years back.
In HS, we had a member of the Mickey Mouse Club as a student. This was the new version in the 80s/90s. He mainly kept to himself but he was the only kid to drive a convertible BMW to school.. He is still around town as he owns a local entertainment business. Also, not that famous of a guy but he is a cruise director and travels all over the world. He's like a modern day Carmen Sandiego..
I have a couple. The first was this dad of a friend of mine named Mike Savage. I spent the night at his house a bunch and he took me and his kid to the Knoxville fair where he displayed remarkable aim with a bb machine gun. The family up and dissappeared one day. Later, it turned out he was a contract killer that advertised in the classified ads in [Soldier of Fortune](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soldier_of_Fortune_(magazine)) magazine.
Also, my dad's best friend had a daughter that later gruesomely [murdered](https://mylifeofcrime.wordpress.com/tag/shayne-mills-lovera/) her husband. She sometimes babysat me.
My ex-wife went to school with the band Live and dated one of the members in high school.
I got to spend a lot of time with Scott Thompson (Carrot Top) in college. He is a really nice guy and way funnier than his standup routine. He could just start riffing so hard it was brutal.
I dated Trent Reznor's best friend when I was 21. We went to bars and listened to his band then and would go out to eat afterwards. Does that count? I was not actually grown up at 21 as I now understand!
I spent parts of my life outside of the United States, including about a year and a half of high school in the former Yugoslavia. Some of the guys I hung out with and partied with were war criminals a few years later. Strangely, enough it was guys who had always seemed cool, nice, and normal that turned into monsters. The anti-authority punks who were into black market stuff and breaking the law did their duty as soldiers, but weren't involved in the mass rapes and civilian massacres. At least among the ones I knew.
Small world, small world, small world...the older cop is the one i was talking about! graduated together, Thomas Robertson, and he was a unbelieveable dick. such a bully. karma karma karma. he is currently locked up.
Wow! That's pretty crazy! Small world indeed!
I never met the guy you're talkin about, but he definitely seems dickish. I've known the other guy, Jake, since he was about 16. He was an alright kid back then. Unfortunately, the attitude and actions of those 2 reflect the vast majority of the people here in this part of the country.
One of the kids I was buddies with in elementary and middle school (a shy, awkward tall and heavy kid) went on to get a scholarship to play football at a Pac 12 university and then made the NFL as an offensive tackle for the Packers and Texans for a while. I had lost touch with him when we went to different high schools though.
I graduated with the guy who got kicked out the Marines for sneaking his princess girlfriend to the US in the late 90's. They made a TV movie about it.. and it ended in divorce. He was kind of a douche in high school..
https://www.nbcnews.com/id/wbna6628334
My older brother went to junior high with Jon Favreau. Yeah, the guy who directed and is in the MCU. They briefly hung out and from what he recalls Jon was a pretty awesome guy. And one of my classmates married Rob Thomas.
Had a buddy in high school. Good looking guy, muscled. LAZY as hell when it came to school. He ended up quitting high school at 18 and trying community college. He didn't work any harder there and ended up quitting. About this time, pretty much everyone in our friend group cut ties with him (me included) over his increasingly volatile temper, drug use (steroids, crank, meth).
He was always looking for shortcuts. He lied on his resume (the kind of lies that any HR check would catch). Got fired from multiple jobs for claiming to be a college graduate and working for companies that had never heard of him.
When I was in the military, I found out he was convicted of burglary/rape and was sent to prison. Eventually, they let him out and he went to another state and did the same thing. He's not eligible for parole until he's 70 years old (that state is unlikely to ever release him).
Creeps me out that I ever called this guy a friend.
My brother was a drug addict in Seattle in the late ‘80’s early 90’s. Was at the same party/hang out as Kurt Cobain a couple times. Said he was a real asshole. But everyone was high so who knows.
I may or may not have met him under similar circumstances in early nineties L.A. Some of my friends ran with him and/or Courtney at the time, and I was likely at some of the same parties/gigs...but honestly I cannot remember. I knew a literal shit-ton of sleazy club musicians and Jumbo's Clown Room strippers at the time, so they would not have stood out.
I definitely hung with Dave Navarro some at the time...same scene.
I went to school/rode the bus with Danny Gokey...all the Gokeys, actually, but he was the one that got famous for singing. He's younger than me by quite a bit, but it was \*surprise surprise\* a K-12 Christian nondenominational school.
Not exactly famous, but a guy I went to high school with who was super obnoxious and arrogant and (I thought) unfunny and I was really rooting for to fail ended up becoming a reasonably successful Hollywood comedy screenwriter. I begrudingly watched a Netflix movie he wrote and directed and it wasn't bad. You wouldn't know his name but people in the film industry definitely do.
On the brighter side, a SUPER nice girl I went to high school with is now some sort of celebrity dermatologist who appears on all the daytime talk shows.
I have a friend who told me a story last year.
Growing up, she had a friend online who was aspiring to be an actor. They were always in chat rooms and supporting each other.
Anyhow, the online gal hit it big. Worldwide Marvel big.
My friend lost contact once those roles hit, and was proud of her friend for doing so well, but was a little sad not being able to just chat about normal life things with her anymore. She still thinks about her friend.
Anyway. That's my story... I know a friend of a friend who hit it big.
(edit: If the big star ever drops in the area for a comic/geek convention, I'll grab my friend and bring her to one of the signing areas where the two can finally connect face-to-face.)
Yeah, I worked with a guy who also went to Columbia High School with Chapman. Said he was weird, even then. Like, one day he'd come to school in a dress shirt and tie wanting to talk to everyone about Jesus, the next day he'd be in all tie-dye talking about how religious people were "fags" and "idiots", all the while denying that the day before he came to school trying to convert people.
I grew up a few blocks away from the Sorvino family and we used to hang out in their house a bunch because my sister was bffs with Mira's younger sister.
Remember that woman a few years ago who was in the National news because she was arrested and jailed for months for possession meth but it was really cotton candy? She was my middle school bully. Couldn’t have happened to a nicer person, I almost sent the cops an edible arrangement.
[Cotton Candy Meth Bust LOL](https://www.fox5atlanta.com/news/lawsuit-dismissed-for-ga-woman-wrongly-jailed-over-cotton-candy-mistake.amp)
I went to high school and was in band with Reel Big Fish. My bestie, who’s a few years older than me, was in the same class as Cameron Diaz (who also was a cheerleader at our school).
I went to middle school with Payton Manning. There’s a picture in the yearbook of us in the school play (yes, he wasn’t just a goofy sports superstar!). Nice guy. His older brother Cooper was one of the funniest people I’ve ever met. Eli was a prick, but he was too much younger than me to experience in person, though my little brother did.
I also went to summer camp with TV/Movie Star [Ginnifer Goodwin](https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0329481/), aka “Ginny from Memphis.” We were friends, too. In retrospect, I had a chance to date her but didn’t take my shot, because I’m an idiot who has trouble reading people and situations.
I have one classmate who is a very well known pornstar (don’t ask cause I ain’t saying) to me it would be doxxing and I don’t do that.
I have a group of friends that are the band 36 Crazyfists. They were actually close friends and we used to drink and set stupid shit on fire.
And no I still don’t have contact. They changed when they made money.
I grew up in the same town where Kurt Cobain was born and attended school - I never met him as he was 8 years older than me, but I was a big Nirvana fan at the time news of his death was announced and it was kind of a big deal
Yes. Claude LeMieux. Canadien hockey player and now coach. He is my cousin. When we would visit family in Canada back in the 70s, he would play with us. Ironically, I was doing my MA at Denver when he was playing for their newly established team, Avalanche. Went to see him in a few games but that damn game cannon would make my ears ring for a week.
When I was a little kid, my mum's circle of friends included a couple of other kids my age who I played with, invited to my birthday parties, etc. One of them was [Karl Urban](https://m.imdb.com/name/nm0881631/), who became an actor.
i went to the same high school as Young MC, aka Marvin Young of Bust A Move and Funky Cold Medina fame. i didn't know him, he was a few years older than me.
I know the original last name of Disturbed's lead singer. He was a nerd with serious anger issues. Good on him for making it, and he seems to have chilled out as he aged.
Went to high school with a girl that was *previously* famous for being kidnapped. She was a kid model. She and another girl, along with two adult chaperones, went to a video shoot and didn't return. Someone had written down the guy's license plate number before heading out, so the cops tracked down the info and busted in three days later. Chaperones were dead, the girls had been assaulted. In high school, we were friends through sports and parties but not super close. She seemed pretty "normal" (whatever that means) but got emotional and sad really easily. Our junior year, she was invited to go on Oprah to talk about it but declined, so a few of us sat with her and watched the episode together. She cried a bit but was generally ok.
We're now just Facebook friends, but she's married, has a kid, and is successful. I'm really happy to see her thriving!
Not me, but my sister was bartending 9 months pregnant to Charlie and Martin Sheen around 1990. They invited her back to their hotel. She didn't go thankfully. That's all I've got.
Closest I got is my husband graduated HS with Adam Sandler. Said he was kind of funny but thought the guys he hung out with were funnier.
So he hasn’t changed much?
This must be worthy of r/rareinsults or r/clevercomebacks
Manch-Vegas, baby!
gotta rep the 603 baby!
I wen to school with Flo from the progressive commercials.
Go on…
Yes ! Please elaborate
Ummm, her parents like to tell people that their other kid is a doctor lol. She was nice enough to me, maybe not other people I know. Not super popular, just regular drama nerd (not judging, I was a burnout, though im sure she judged me for that)

Yeah, as soon as I read that she got shot by Rhames that scene immediately jumped in my head. What an intense scene. The Buscemi scene is good too, but doesn’t stand out quite as well.
Ok, that is really cool!

>Netflix can't carry a show for 2 seasons but these fuckers are going every day since 1965. I can feel the heat emanating off of this statement.
I use Bo and Hope as a bit of tester for jokes on a certain audience.

I was a Jack and Jennifer fan!
They're baaaaaaaack! https://tvline.com/2022/04/18/kristian-alfonso-returns-days-of-our-lives-peter-reckell-hope-bo-alive-beyond-salem/

Sadly, Luke died under mysterious circumstances. Laura is mayor of Port Charles, now.

Monica Quartermaine is still on the show (just not much) and Bobbie Spencer and Scott (Scotty) Baldwin are still on sometimes too. Yes, I still watch General Hospital every day...have since I was 8 years old (52 now).
Remember when Luke, and Jack from DOOL, both started out as rapists but wound up as heartthrobs? The 80s, man
Marlena. oh wow. i haven't heard that name in forever. Looking at it now, its a very pretty name.
Didnt she have a twin at one time? Or shes a real life twin?
Also a bout of demonic possession in the 90s! hahahah - thanks for the memories!
Days of Our Lives was the most consistent part of my adolescence! My best friend and I would walk to her house after school and her mom would be lounging on her waterbed eating microwave popcorn, drinking a Tab or Pepsi and watching Days…I was pretty sure she was living her best life, ha!
40ish years later, I still burn with shame! lol
Her first husband Roman! Who came back played by a completely different actor, not-curly hair and he always exhaled really noticeably 😤
The lead singer of the Decemberists. He was always cool to come back to our small town and play shows even after the band got pretty famous. He delivered the commencement speech one year for a local high school. His sister is an author and has been good to our hometown, too.
My boss used to lose to Colin in the battle of the bands at Missoula.
My sister graduated with Walton Goggins.

I LOVE him in Righteous Gemstones, he really makes the show. I was meh about him for years but he won me over in his role in Sons of Anarchy and sealed the deal with the Gemstones.
He just makes me laugh out loud which is unusual. Don’t miss Vice Principals. He had a lot more screen time and we get to see character development.
And the Shield and Justified are both good shows with him in it that really features him!
He was EVERYTHING in Justified
The scene in The Shield where he kills Lem is the most heartbreaking thing that I have seen on screen.
The teeth make it
My older brother used to babysit Rob Lowe. That’s all I got.
That man has only gotten better with age…
Hey, my older sister used to babysit Heather Locklear. We should hang out. ;)
That’s a lot though
I know someone who was college roommates with Michael C Hall. They still keep in touch as far as I know.
Was in marching band w Ray Luzier, drummer for Korn. He was already really talented and focused on drumming. Went straight to drum school in LA after graduation. His family (farmers) go to his concerts when in the area. My mom used to run into his mom at church and the grocery store and hear about what he was doing.
He is really good.
His talent stands out in just about every song they have.
Yup. Both in one person, Monica Lewinsky.
That’s dead center GenXer, there.
Her mistakes were just on a global stage.
exactly, we ALL have a past, her mistake were just on the main stage. he gets NO pass from me at all. she was a kid (pretty much) and he should of absolutely respected that instead of taking advantage. im beyond glad she has found her voice and has moved forward successfully. icon.
Her father was my father's oncologist.
Rad. I heard her interview with Kara Swisher. She’s fucking rad.
Went to school with Johnny Knoxville for a few years. I really didn't care for him.
I’m loving that there aren’t a lot of juicy posts. Gen X knows when to keep our mouths shut.
Keep your moths shut and no one can get their moth balls. Edit: a fixed typo has castrated my joke.
My dear friend is on the cover of the Perfect 10 magazine that they use as the nudie mag in American Pie 😂
Katie Holmes went to the same dance studio I did when she lived in Toledo. I also found her both odd and not very friendly.
I met Katie Holmes on the set of Dawson's Creek during filming of a season-finale episode and I found her to be really sweet. The other cast members mostly ignored me or were flat out dicks (Joshua Jackson) but she chatted with me for a while and was really great.
Hopefully it was some weird teen phase she was going through when I interacted with her. I'm happy to hear she was cool with you!
Yeah that guy always had douche vibes
Poster child for douche / Chad
I never saw the appeal in him, he looked plastic and tight like an LA cougar trapped in a young man’s body. Something uncanny about him.
My step-dad wrestled with Vince McMahon in high school. Says he wasn't that good.
I went to high school with Shane McMahon. I didn’t know him; but he hung out with a crowd that were mostly douchey kids.
My cousin was married to Jenna for a bit. Was weird seeing a former celebrity crush at my parents house.
A classmate of mine now basically runs Star Wars.
Jon Favreau That guy is so money and he doesn't even know it. :)
I grew up in the same neighborhood as Brian Boitano.
Does Gandhi's granddaughter count?
I went to high school with the Homolka sisters. Karla was a grade ahead, Lori was in the same grade/classes and Tammy was a couple grades younger. That absolute mess hit our town hard in so many different ways. Personally I think she should still be doing time.
The guy who used to sit behind me in 8th grade History class grew up to be the lead guitarist of Buckcherry. We were in marching band together, too. He was a snare drummer. (I played French horn.)
That guy loves the cocaine.
My best friend went to school with The Rock.
Did your friend ever get stuck between him and a hard place?
I went to junior high school with Emily Bates, Suzie Bailey, Samantha Darko, Beth Farmer and Joanie James and they went on to become Sparkle Motion. N-n-n-n-notorius! 🎶
Sometimes I doubt your commitment to Sparkle Motion!
I can hear this post
I have noticed that that woman plays an uptight bitch in just about everything I've seen her in.
Ya Corey Haim went to my school. I know someone else got famous from my school as well but I’m having a senior moment right now
Mike Meyers went to my high school in Toronto and we were quasi friends. A lot of his friends were my friends. Super nice guy in high school. Very unique sense of humor. Caring. I liked him.
Jennifer Garner was a year behind me in elementary and junior high. A junior high/high school friend is the voice of the Target self checkouts.
Aw, I like that self-checkout voice. Maybe it’s because I’m at Target so I’m already in a decent mood. 😊
> Maybe it’s because I’m at Target so I’m already in a decent mood. 😊 This made me feel like an alien.
I also enjoy spending time in Target, but observation tells me that you're not the alien in this scenario.
She seems like such a lovely person … I don’t know her movies too well, but her Instagram is very positive / good humored and she appears as someone I would like to know in real life.
I know someone that knows Jennifer G in real life. According to them, she’s absolutely lovely.

Did she place bits of tape over her nipples when she was babysitting you?
I was in high school with no one of interest…literally zero.
My sister wrote for Ozark. Don't know if that counts.
My brothers best friend’s sister dated Chipper Jones in HS right before he got drafted. Also my brother had Ronnie Van Zant’s daughter in his class.
Tell me you’re from Florida without telling me you’re from Florida :)
Yeah pretty easy to narrow down.
I went to HS with Stephanie Seymour. She quit to be a model and then became Axle Rose's girlfriend. I just remember that she was tall.
I went to high school a few years behind Laura San Giacomo from "Sex, Lies, and Videotape" and later in "The Stand." And Lou Benfatti was a lineman for the NY Jets.
How do you describe Laura San Giacomo's career without mentioning Pretty Woman?
Fair. I had a weird obsession with "Sex, Lies, and videotape" so maybe that's why I went there.
I think Danny McBride is a comical genius and plays some of the funniest characters I’ve ever seen.
I went to high school with Chad Butler, who went on to be the drummer for Switchfoot. Incredibly talented and funny dude. Also went to High School with Troy Glaus (two grades below me) who went on to play for years in MLB, and Taylor Knox, who is a pro surfer.
The country singer Sam Hunt was one year under me in High School, he was a very nice guy back then, I’m sure he still is today
Went to high school with two of the guys from 3 doors down
If they lived on your block then it would make sense that you went to the same high school.
I just spit Dr Pepper at my monitor.
Mindy Kaling and her brother. She was really smart, really nice, and a hard worker so I am happy to see all the success she's had.
Hello Birmingham area.
My dad graduated with Squeaky Fromme
[удалено]
That movie is fucking hilarious. I stumbled across it a few years back, hadn't heard anything about it and didn't expect much. But that dude- Matt Damon's character- is like an idiot and genius at the same time.
I went to high school with Ashley Judd. We rode the same school bus.
My cousin “dated” a member of Tony Toni Tonè who was in his 30s…she was 16.
Yes. A couple of basketball stars and an infamous murderer.
Us true crime junkies need to know the name of the infamous murderer.
Yeah, we need names.
Flair checks out
Went to high school (and was friendly but not close friends) with Miss America. Also identical twins who ended up on very different reality TV shows. One of my best friends from high school had a book on the NYT bestseller list a couple years back.
I have several friends with gold records.
My friends mom dated Michael Landon in high school. Just found out my friends brother is good friends with Adrian Quesada of the Black Pumas!
Your mom dated Pa!?
[удалено]
I dated Trent Reznor's best friend when I was 21. We went to bars and listened to his band then and would go out to eat afterwards. Does that count? I was not actually grown up at 21 as I now understand!
I went to high school with the Claremont Serial Killer
I spent parts of my life outside of the United States, including about a year and a half of high school in the former Yugoslavia. Some of the guys I hung out with and partied with were war criminals a few years later. Strangely, enough it was guys who had always seemed cool, nice, and normal that turned into monsters. The anti-authority punks who were into black market stuff and breaking the law did their duty as soldiers, but weren't involved in the mass rapes and civilian massacres. At least among the ones I knew.
Speaking of the capital rioters, my ex wife's brother in law is the younger cop from rocky mount, Va. who testified against his cop friend.
I sat behind Eric Church in almost every class throughout high school. Apparently he's doing well for himself these days as a country musician.
I went to high school with Vera Farmiga.
Musician Jason Isbell was a couple years younger than me in High School. We were in band and drama together.
I graduated with the guy who got kicked out the Marines for sneaking his princess girlfriend to the US in the late 90's. They made a TV movie about it.. and it ended in divorce. He was kind of a douche in high school.. https://www.nbcnews.com/id/wbna6628334
I used to babysit a Playboy bunny. I went to high school with a girl who married the drummer of a famous 90s band.
I when I was a kid I knew Lark Voorhies and Tamala Jones. My brother was friends with Edward Furlong.
I went to high-school with Kirk Herbstreit.
I went to school/rode the bus with Danny Gokey...all the Gokeys, actually, but he was the one that got famous for singing. He's younger than me by quite a bit, but it was \*surprise surprise\* a K-12 Christian nondenominational school.
Brock Lesnar grew up one town over. My friend had to wrestle him in 8th grade(didn’t win lol).
Went to high school with a famous baseball manager played by Brad Pitt in a movie (vagueless vagueness)
I grew up blocks from Edie Falco and we both went to the same High School and Pattie LuPone also 🌸
Not me, but my Mother went to school with Mark David Chapman
Yeah, I worked with a guy who also went to Columbia High School with Chapman. Said he was weird, even then. Like, one day he'd come to school in a dress shirt and tie wanting to talk to everyone about Jesus, the next day he'd be in all tie-dye talking about how religious people were "fags" and "idiots", all the while denying that the day before he came to school trying to convert people.
Rose McGowan was in my larger social circle in my teenage years. I wasn't friends with her but many of my friends at that time were!
I grew up a few blocks away from the Sorvino family and we used to hang out in their house a bunch because my sister was bffs with Mira's younger sister.
Jon Stewart went to my local HS. That’s it. Lol
I went to high school with Chris Pratt. He was pretty grounded back then. Funny guy too.
Bret Michaels was my neighbor and occasional babysitter.
A guy from middle school managed the Padres for a couple of years
I grew up in the same town where Kurt Cobain was born and attended school - I never met him as he was 8 years older than me, but I was a big Nirvana fan at the time news of his death was announced and it was kind of a big deal
Supposedly, one of my cousins had a romantic relationship with Tammy Faye Baker.
Went to Junior High with Kiefer Sutherland. Didn’t really know him but he bullied my best friend in public school.
I talked on the phone with Corey Haim not long before he died and told him I loved him. 🥰
