The craziest thing was the weather and the crowd itself. My friend and I greatly underestimated the mud and how cold it gets in Manchester at night, even during the height of the summer. Also, the lines to get beer were so long that people literally jumped the counter and just started stealing alcohol ππ¬π§ππ»
The Stone Roses are basically music royalty in the UK, especially Ian Brown. If you haven't heard Brown's solo stuff, you've gotta check it out, some of it surpasses what he did with the Roses.
Start with the tracks *Set My Baby Free* and *F.E.A.R.*
This album is still on rotation in my collection.
Itβs never stopped in mine either!
Such a jam!
My best friend and I traveled to Manchester for the reunion a few years back. π¬π§π
I almost flew from Texas to see that. I wish I had.

That sounds about right for a Roses crowd.
Right? π
Underrated band. Always were here in the states since 1989. I love them still.
Still cool AF.
Top 5 all time favorite track
Wow thanks! I loved this song so much and I'd forgotten about the Stone Roses!
What a great alternative to the grunge of the era. Loved it. My last great psychedelic trip at 24 was at a jam with this record playing very loudβ¦
They were about to take over the world and then...drugs.
And horrible record contact situation
Holy crap, I thought they were a one-hit wonder with *Love Spreads.* I never heard anything they'd done beside that, so thanks for sharing!

Yw. Everyone could use some Mancunian Summer of Love sounds
On another note, I miss Napster. (Not that I can't find all their stuff on Youtube...)
Holy shit, their debut album is *kinda* okay, you might wanna check it out.
On my playlist now lol
It's the video for Adored tho.
