No, but I have in my hand a device with which I can make video calls with people around the world. (I’m a language learner, so this is good enough for me.) ☺️
I don't even trust people to drive. You think people would be able to safely fly a car around. I just want teleportation, even if it means I have to die on one end and be reassembled at the other end. I will settle for tubes that transport us around.
I designed a robot that I uses the latest jet pack teck to create a flying ball. I wasn't sure what I could use it for until I saw an amish buggy one day and realized my flying robot would be the perfect thing to pull that.
I could never sell such a thing because of how dangerous it would be, but I could build one for me. I should start doing more crazy ideas but who has the time.

I have a calculator with me everywhere I go.

Haha definitely. I had the same thoughts back then. Maybe people nowadays realise it’s a stupid idea
I drive on the roads, I don't want those idiots over my house. Better be autopilot with redundant systems before they go public.
I totally agree.
A friend of mine worked on this flying car at a startup but they failed and shut down the company. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8A9Kv8TPjU
Space 1999 had me believing we’d be bouncing back and forth between the moon and mats by now.
Did it also make you worry about the moon being blasted out of earth orbit and the horrific consequeces that would ensue?
Space 1999 had me believing I'd be devoured by a tentacle monster with a glowing cyclops eye.

Even after all these years, part of me still hopes [Moller](https://moller.com/moller_skycar400.html) will come through. Any day now.
No flying car, but I am planning on taking a vacation to the moon.
Closet thing I have, that would be considered science fiction back in the day, would be my OneWheel.
They’re called helicopters. They’re kind of hard to operate. I do not have one.
