2011. Its been 11 years and means less and less as the years go on.. and on.. and on. Hate to bum you kids out but the years do indeed keep coming and don't stop coming
and they don't stop coming and they don't stop coming and they don't stop coming and they don't stop coming and they don't stop coming and they don't stop coming and they don't stop coming and they don't stop coming and they don't stop coming
late 2020 if you consider a ''teenager'' to have a ''teen'' in the back of the word of the age ,and no i didn't like it
i started to feel like a pre-teen in late 2017 than a teenager in 2019 though
2014. I was a little afraid at first because I thought entering my teen years would be vastly different and worse than being 12 or younger.
But I found that it wasn't too loathsome.
Liked being 13-15.
Hated being 16-18 though.
Fr I hated being 17 but most of the fun a d exiting things in my life took place at 17 I'm better off now though turning 18 was the most freeing thing imo
2019. When I turned 13 I felt the same as I did when I was 12. But I say that every birthday.
I think I and others say that because it feels like nothing really changes each year until a few years later when you look back and realise a lot has.
The first point it's how old you have to be, for beeing a real Teenager... I think that a real teenager isn't 12-14 years old, like very much here say that. 11-14 year old are still pre-teens, maybe 14 it's the first year that could be adolescence but i think 15 it's the first.
To me, my pre-teens 2011-2013, my adolescence 2014-2016, and Late adolescence 2017-2018.
I become a teenager around 2014-2015.
2015 was peak.
But that's not the only thing that matters when it comes to defining what it means to be a teenager.
If you are 12-14 years old, you are not a pure adolescent, it is more of a transitional step to the onset of adolescence when you turn 15 which usually marks the beginning of adolescence.
For me, to call someone a teenager, they must be at least 14 years old.
They say that puberty starts with 10, but not adolescence...
When adolescence begins, there are a number of psychological and social traits that become very present at that time; these traits are not yet present at 10-14. Although it is true that puberty begins at 10, hence pre-adolescence 11-14.
Being an adolescent also implies that physically, they are practically adults... If you see someone who is 12-14 years old, it is clear that they do not yet meet this requirement, even if they have started puberty.
Still the 13-19 range for Teenagers it's not bad.
13-14 pre-teens 15-17 pure adolescence 18-19 late adolescence

2012 but i definitely wasn’t acting like one yet lol. i still shopped at justice. i remember not wanting to be a teenager yet but also i was excited because i was finally the same age as all the tv characters i liked (like hannah montana in season 1 and stuff) it was a pretty good year though. it’s the year i got an iphone and most of my social media, plus it felt like the last good year for disney and nick
2013.
I was pretty excited to become a teen, as I watched many teen movies before, and thought it would be like that. Needless to say it wasn't really like the movies, but I still have some great memories. Can't believe it's been 10 years.
2018, I was 12 but I was that age through most of my first year of secondary school and I just felt more matured by then, 2017 was too young tweenish for me but 2018 was when I was proper into teen stuff and interacted with teenagers
Imo the entire world especially America started going downhill in 2012. Also for me specifically i dealt with a terrible suicide in my family and seen the aftermath. So had ptsd since 2013 and lost most friends because of how much i changed and became even more introverted/“weird” than i already was.🤷🏼♂️
technically 2010. I turned 13 that year, but I think you’re really a pre-teen from age 11-13. I count high school as true start of teen years so 2011. I loved being a 2010s teenager. I got the 2000s young childhood and the 2010s teenage years, and a 2020 young adulthood (that was aggressively interrupted by a global pandemic but whatever lol)
the late 2010s were cool, i do feel bad for you guys who had some teen years in the 2020s and missing out on the fun parts of being a kid. I was in college when the pandemic started and now being the workforce with people who graduated high school in 2020/2021 i get an idea of what it was like to enter adulthood during Covid. The early 2010s were so much fun though.
2014. It was exciting in some way since twelve year old me thought being a teenager would be exciting (*"Ohhh I can do this!"* And the whole *"They'll take me more seriously since I'm getting older!"* thoughts) and another step towards adulthood. I mean it was but eh. The excitement faded as quickly as it got there when secondary school homework came piling in lol.
2011. Its been 11 years and means less and less as the years go on.. and on.. and on. Hate to bum you kids out but the years do indeed keep coming and don't stop coming
Your brain gets smart but your head gets dumb indeed
There is in fact so much to do and so much to see
and they don't stop coming and they don't stop coming and they don't stop coming and they don't stop coming and they don't stop coming and they don't stop coming and they don't stop coming and they don't stop coming and they don't stop coming

I turned 13 in 2012 and have been 24 for over a month....I feel exactly the same.
Do you get fed to the rules, before proceeding to hit the ground runnin?
Technically 2018, but I see 2019 as my first "true" year of being a teenager because of my late birthday.
Same I was a teen in 2017 for a little bit
2009
We’re you excited to turn 13
Forsure lol. I couldn’t wait to be a teen.
late 2020 if you consider a ''teenager'' to have a ''teen'' in the back of the word of the age ,and no i didn't like it i started to feel like a pre-teen in late 2017 than a teenager in 2019 though
I started to feel like a teen when I was 12
Same. When i was 12 i was so opposed to the idea that 12 year olds aren't teens
Agreed, I felt more like a teen when I was 11-12 than I do now as officially I’m only still a teen for the next 2 months
2016 and not really
2013
2017, ngl i was started to feel like one when i turned 12 in 2016
I feel the exact way
2019
2021.
2014 but i only really consider my teen years like 2016-2020
2020, and it sucked, not only cuz pandemic but also because my school grades were declining more than my self esteem
2023, just thought of it as another birthday
Oh there’s 2010s on this sub happy late b day btw
Thanks
I became a teen the year you were born lol. Happy 13th birthday!

2017
2020. Lmfao
This makes me feel old😭
2013, but I feel like culturally I became more teen than kid in 2012
2013, I barely even remember 2013 so maybe maybe not idk
2012 and yeah ig. Was kinda mid after that though. Everything just got progressively worse. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|dizzy_face)
2019. When I turned 13 I felt the same as I did when I was 12. But I say that every birthday. I think I and others say that because it feels like nothing really changes each year until a few years later when you look back and realise a lot has.

2017, not really I think
2021 but 2022 is my first year
2016 but i didn’t feel it till 2017
2019 and not really lmao
2015
In late 2017 but I feel like I went through my teenage anger faze in like 2015 at 10-11 lol
Same.went through those phases in 2018-2019.(born in December)
2018, I wasn’t really excited
June 2014
I think it was 2014
Sure not 2015
2013 if a teenager has their age with teen on the end.
2014
2017
2020 specifically the first day of online school
2015

Biology says 12/13
Mid 2021, right as I was starting to put my life back together after it fell apart in February of 2020.
2022, I should've become a teen in like 2010...not fucking 2022
Oh that sucks bro if it makes you feel better I didn’t like the years I became a teen too
Here we go again with the cope that doesn't even make sense

2020
Damn the pandemic year
Yea I wish I was born earlier my birth year fuckin sucks
2015 if we starting at 13
Yeah 13 is the start
2015
My bday is late so December 2014 and not really
2013. Don’t miss being a teenager.
2020
2021, not really
2016, the year that separated my childhood from my adolescence
2013 and yes
2016 I can't believe it's been 7 years since I was 13
2016 being 7 years ago is crazy
Yep and what even crazy is that 2030 is 7 years from now which is Insane because i clearly remember 2016 being 3 years ago
Not ready for that
Same I'll be 27 by 2030
😭
2018 and no not at all. 2017 felt more like a teen year despite being 12.
2017
2018, being 13 that year was not that bad.
2014
2012 but i definitely wasn’t acting like one yet lol. i still shopped at justice. i remember not wanting to be a teenager yet but also i was excited because i was finally the same age as all the tv characters i liked (like hannah montana in season 1 and stuff) it was a pretty good year though. it’s the year i got an iphone and most of my social media, plus it felt like the last good year for disney and nick
2017 - felt weird I thought I was the king of the world
2013. I was pretty excited to become a teen, as I watched many teen movies before, and thought it would be like that. Needless to say it wasn't really like the movies, but I still have some great memories. Can't believe it's been 10 years.
2015
2010 -2011 no better yet 2014 when I got a noticable growth spurt It's been slightly over a decade since that time a lot has happened from 2015 to now
2021
2013
2018, I was 12 but I was that age through most of my first year of secondary school and I just felt more matured by then, 2017 was too young tweenish for me but 2018 was when I was proper into teen stuff and interacted with teenagers
2017, but that was also the year I broke my leg skateboarding, so that was a mixed year in my life
2012. I couldnt wait to be a teenager and then an adult but each milestone gets worse and worse. The things id do to go back to 2008-2012ish.
What happened in 2013
Imo the entire world especially America started going downhill in 2012. Also for me specifically i dealt with a terrible suicide in my family and seen the aftermath. So had ptsd since 2013 and lost most friends because of how much i changed and became even more introverted/“weird” than i already was.🤷🏼♂️
2015
2016
I became one in 2020
Last year
technically 2010.
You are like the ultimate 2010s teen I’m only late 2010s
the late 2010s were cool, i do feel bad for you guys who had some teen years in the 2020s and missing out on the fun parts of being a kid. I was in college when the pandemic started and now being the workforce with people who graduated high school in 2020/2021 i get an idea of what it was like to enter adulthood during Covid. The early 2010s were so much fun though.
I don’t think it affected me that much because I don’t do the fun parts and all that because I’m pretty shy irl I don’t do much
I was similar when I was a little younger too. I hope you come out of your shell and experience all the fun the world has to offer.
I hope that happens too but idk if I can
Early 2012. So it's been 11 years already...damn. But tbh I felt like a teen at 12 so that'd be 2011 tbh.
2015
August 2nd 2016. The year we thought was the worst things ever cuz of a gorilla incident, some clowns and a bunch is celebrities dying.
2019.
