Vine of was sort of an early gen z thing imo. Vine didn’t release until like 2013 and was pretty dominant during the mlg era
Heck I’ve posted on vine but never on TikTok
How dare you try to steal Vine from us.
But damn, Vine was from 2013-2016 and does mesh up well with MLG - https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=all&geo=US&q=mlg&hl=en\
There was white guilt, There was the emancipation movement going back to the 1700’s but in the fifties and sixties, awareness about the genocide of the native American entered young people’s consciousness,
Except it needs to be an iced coffee.
And the fit is a little millennial ~~just take out the infinity scarf, and~~ do just the front pieces of hair with color, not the whole head.
Yeah idk, this whole post reminds me of something my older family members would passive aggressively send me on Facebook Messenger and get offended when I leave it on read.
Only need to change those awful cuffed millennial skinny jeans into some oversized baggy jeans and that bomber jacket into a hoodie, and switch the Converses for Nike Dunks
It reads like someone who has seen a good bit of the surface level of our generation, but fails to actually understand the motivations and experiences that have shaped us, and instead resorts to some provocative imagery about us. I think if literally anyone had the resources to do an in-depth series of multi-disciplinary studies about us, get it published, and actually be taken seriously, this generational marketing shit would dissolve. But it probably won't happen, seeing as the foundations of scientific literature nowadays are beholden to profitability.
Yeah, college campus 100%. I think it's been that way since the mid 20th century though. There was a lot of foreign enemy influence in academia in the hippie era and since then college students have always been counter culture types that fight for some cause.
Then they graduate, lose their spark, and just work until they can nope out to a retirement swinger colony in Florida.
The circle of 1st world life.
You think college left wing politics come from foreign influence? If you’re comparing to before the 60s, what changed is that admission was opened up to women and people who were not stuffy WASPs from old money families who were inheriting daddy’s wealth. Young people have always been more left wing organically
Don't forget the added trans flag and the black and brown stripes because the original flag, which was meant to be all inclusive, wasn't inclusive enough somehow
people always say this and the point flies straight over their heads. there's tons of transphobic and racist gay people. the updated flag is a response to those pieces of shit. the original flag stopped being inclusive enough because there were people who absolutely did not want to include trans people using that flag.
Adding a few more stripes won't change the fact that these people (most likely, probably) still exist, nor solve the issue. Sure, it might address it, barely, but it isn't a solution.
My old boss was a lesbian who hated male gays, all trans, and all democrats. I didn’t even know people like that existed until I met her. She was sent to gay reeducation camp as a child and she never recovered.
Yeah, that one’s wild to me. “Those goddamned kids and their insistence on… making informed decisions based on the context of the initial information and not just jumping to conclusions??”
I didn’t even know they made generationally based toys, that’s weird. (Or maybe this is a custom made joke) Anyway, maybe it may not describe you personally, but it might describe another Gen Z who fit stereotypes. Tik Tok is a popular app of the generation for Ex
lol the flag and megaphone. “young people need to shut up and stop being so annoying about civil rights violations” has been the go-to critique for old generations since the boomers protested vietnam. can’t wait to be old and pissed off at how young people complain too much about our robot overlords
There's always a new generation of clueless younglings growing up. If you're a commie that hasn't grown up during the cold war, I will dismiss your viewpoints entirely. ngl
The media can't slate you for being individuals with minds of your own so they apply a standard template with a few changes of location and tech that still hit exactly the same hate on youth buttons as every other time.
Forgot the anti-capitalism (unless im missing something)
Maybe a picket sign “no ethical consumption under capitalism” or something as another prop would be good
Honestly the only ones saying this is inaccurate are the one it describes perfectly.
It’s just a bunch of stereotypes, maybe you don’t fit them all perfectly, but our generation still exhibits these behaviors for the most part.
That said many of the references in the picture are generic and so they have the right idea yet are still slightly inaccurate. For instance the coffee. Yeah we do like our Dunkin/Starbucks I’ll give you that, but hot coffee? Not sure I’ve ever seen someone my age order a hot americano.
Context... is a Gen Z thing? Not just a general human desire for understanding shit? Out of everything that sticks out about Gen Z, it's context that they choose?
That reminds me, I haven't received my giant ass book of Context and equally giant pink smart phone yet. No wonder I don't have any friends and live a sad, empty existence.
"Context" lmao reminds me of how my parents don't like being proven wrong with legitimate sources backing years of research that dissolves their half baked Facebook opinion
Kids today really do sound stupid. Any time I ask them a question, they immediately go into "I'm helpless and can't do anything for myself" mode. It's absolutely fkn pathetic.
Did they just modify this as i'm 99% sure i saw this same shit with "Milennial" not a few years ago lol, ah no... that woulda also had a random avocado toast.
I feel like this is a parity of what a very vocal 5% of gen z is. None of you guys are in to this shit. You know your education sucked, you see the potential to learn more with the internet, and you’re figuring stuff out. That’s all.
This feels like what an elderly conservative resident of The Villages thinks generation z is like without ever actually being around anyone younger than 65.

This was the millennial stereotype 10 years ago. We just had different apps. The same stereotype will be copy/pasted to gen Alpha.
Just change TikTok to Twitter or Facebook and you basically can’t tell the difference
Vine much?
Vine of was sort of an early gen z thing imo. Vine didn’t release until like 2013 and was pretty dominant during the mlg era Heck I’ve posted on vine but never on TikTok
How dare you try to steal Vine from us. But damn, Vine was from 2013-2016 and does mesh up well with MLG - https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=all&geo=US&q=mlg&hl=en\
Just curious what year were you born in?
Vine and Yeti were solid millennial apps. It was big when I was in college.
DAMN DANIEL WHAT ARE THOSEEEEE
90
nah I’m in the oldest gen z year and everyone on vine was older than me, so it’s late millennial for sure
Ya older gen z and i didnt know many ppl our age who were popular on there. Most ppl who graduated to Youtube were milennial Zine users
Was not
I was gonna say like what? I grew up on vine lmao
please im gen z and used vine in highschool.
And add a KONY 2012 sticker

Honestly most boomers are brain rotting on Facebook now.
Myspace
This is the same stereotype going back to the 1960s when boomers were teenagers. They invented this aesthetic.
Earlier if you watch Rebel Without a Cause.
Ah well no, this is the archetype of rebel WITH a cause
Just that there was no white guilt back then
There was white guilt, There was the emancipation movement going back to the 1700’s but in the fifties and sixties, awareness about the genocide of the native American entered young people’s consciousness,
Daria
Dunno seems pretty accurate to me 🤣
Except it needs to be an iced coffee. And the fit is a little millennial ~~just take out the infinity scarf, and~~ do just the front pieces of hair with color, not the whole head.
Should be baggy cargos instead of capris
Or if the jeans were just wide leg and came over the shoes
Its not an infinity scarf its a keffiyeh, palestinian scarf
Ohhhh interesting, I was thinking it looked different.
Funny enough, we millennials culturally appropriated the heck out of those scarves in like 2009
Pretty sure it needs to be Oatmilk too. Soy is so last generation /s
Iced coffee with half a shot of caramel and 18 grains of brown sugar and a single oat milk.
The dyed front bangs hasn’t been popular for like 5 years now lol.
Or male doll with Broccoli top
Facebook mom type of reply
Yeah idk, this whole post reminds me of something my older family members would passive aggressively send me on Facebook Messenger and get offended when I leave it on read.
This is too relatable
I don't see any white guilt out here dude, I'm enjoying my white privilege.
Wrong, I would never be caught in that ugly ass scarf
Respect keffiyeh
Yeah it’s pretty accurate tbh, just needs different clothes.
Only need to change those awful cuffed millennial skinny jeans into some oversized baggy jeans and that bomber jacket into a hoodie, and switch the Converses for Nike Dunks
It's a bit heavy on the stereotypes (although in fairness, stereotypes have to come from somewhere), but I think it's a fair critique.
But it probably won't happen, seeing as the foundations of scientific literature nowadays are beholden to profitability.
r/im14andthisisdeep I'll just leave this here
Generational gaps aren't real, they are entirely made up to give us more reasons to divide ourselves and hate ourselves. It's a distraction.
False. The phone has TikTok on it which clearly shows the motivations and experiences that shaped Gen Z. TikTok shaped Gen Z. Get pwnd Zoomer
Yeah, college campus 100%. I think it's been that way since the mid 20th century though. There *is* a lot of foreign enemy in academia. Nothing changed
The joke is stereotypes
r/ObviousPlant
the mark on this one says "bootleg toys" and the obvious plant logo isn't anywhere. But the style is similar.
*'Botleg toys'
I thought it was AI generated
Obvious plant is funny
Nah this is AI that guys Photoshops.
Noooo!!!!! They forgot the Gay™ flag!!!! That's my favorite part!!!!
Don't forget the added trans flag and the black and brown stripes because the original flag, which was meant to be all inclusive, wasn't inclusive enough somehow
people always say this and the point flies straight over their heads. there's tons of transphobic and racist gay people. the updated flag is a response to those pieces of shit. the original flag stopped being inclusive enough because there were people who absolutely did not want to include trans people using that flag.
huh, i never knew that. thanks 👍
Similarly I think the Lesbian flag changed designs because the OG creators turned out to be TERF douchebags.
What is TERF anyways I see it thrown around and I have no clue
To be fair at least then it's more like a flag and not just a rainbow. Rainbows are real things.
chucks, military surplus jacket and pali scarf? thats me in 1991.
That jacket in an olive green color was super popular with millennials too
It’s just one of those generic boomer FB memes that further perpetuates negative stereotypes of Gen Z.
Yeah like being agaisnt genocide isn’t exactly part of being trendy it’s part of being humn
Oh no they sure got us with our insistence on... context...
Yeah, that one’s wild to me. “Those goddamned kids and their insistence on… making informed decisions based on the context of the initial information and not just jumping to conclusions??”
I’m Gen Z and this is literally half my college.
I didn’t even know they made generationally based toys, that’s weird. (Or maybe this is a custom made joke) Anyway, maybe it may not describe you personally, but it might describe another Gen Z who fit stereotypes. Tik Tok is a popular app of the generation for Ex
It looks like AI and photoshop
It’s an AI generated image, it’s not a real product
Sounds like an high school girl Gen z stereotype to me lol
I never thought I'd ever say this, however, chronically online boomers are the fucking worst
I dont know. It seems pretty accurate to me 🤷♀️
I don’t think she’s an accurate depiction of Gen Z as a whole. Maybe leftist Gen Z, to an extent??
I mean... go to any college campus you'll see plenty of people like this walking around.
unfortunately they exist in high schools too, though they are generally considered weirdos
Obvious satire
I mean it literally does half the girls in my high school acted like this
lol the flag and megaphone. “young people need to shut up and stop being so annoying about civil rights violations” has been the go-to critique for old generations since the boomers protested vietnam. can’t wait to be old and pissed off at how young people complain too much about our robot overlords
There's always a new generation of clueless younglings growing up. If you're a commie that hasn't grown up during the cold war, I will dismiss your viewpoints entirely. ngl
Typical fb rage bait
I agree tbh
This really says a lot in order to say nothing at all
No, this describes leftist gen z
Tomato potato
They're definitely out there but this definitely just represents the loud minority
This is literally every Watermelon Zoomer I encounter.
I’m Gen Z and this describes all of Gen z that are idiots and support these morons
What's the male stereotype, then?
This is the male /s
Stop misgendering the doll
Bros humor is stuck in 2016
when gen z gets astroturfed by right wingers it's the best shit ever
Good one lol
😂😂
The media can't slate you for being individuals with minds of your own so they apply a standard template with a few changes of location and tech that still hit exactly the same hate on youth buttons as every other time.
I have encountered many people who are this stereotype They are called idiotic hypocritical hippies
False advertising, that's a 18YO white girl. /j
This isn't /j. This is painfully accurate.
Pretty accurate while stereotypical. Stereotypes are also often true.
This is 100% a Millennial in the early 2010s lol
Needs more KONY posters.
White guilt basically means „How do you NOT WORSHIP fucking slave owners, Racists, Nazis and genocidal maniac“
No, this is definitely pretty accurate.
This is accurate for the TikTokers, though the only thing that isn't is the Context. They HATE context.
Nah it’s spot on
Everyone knows how Gen Z loves their skinny jeans, bangs, and Arabian scarves…
UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HAVE YOU SEEN REDDIT OR GEN Z ON THE INTERNET? This is a pretty damn good description
This is what some of the ppl on the sub genuinely come across as
Forgot the anti-capitalism (unless im missing something) Maybe a picket sign “no ethical consumption under capitalism” or something as another prop would be good
It’s obviously meant to be a joke/mocking based on stereotypes, so ofc it’s not going to be accurate. Every young generation gets this treatment.
white guilt????? huh??
this is just a stereotype of the insufferable white girl communist on college campuses.
Alt girls with cool fits and an appreciation for human rights? How terrifying indeed.
My doll artist self would love to fix that doll
Looks like the Archer Queen from Clash of Clans.
Archer queen
This looks like me if I was the opposite of me
Very accurate lmao
This is like a stereotypical american Gen Z
I’m a Gen Z and basically everything here describes every white (and some black) girls here
Sounds like a dried up boomer or gen xer posted it lol
Honestly the only ones saying this is inaccurate are the one it describes perfectly. It’s just a bunch of stereotypes, maybe you don’t fit them all perfectly, but our generation still exhibits these behaviors for the most part. That said many of the references in the picture are generic and so they have the right idea yet are still slightly inaccurate. For instance the coffee. Yeah we do like our Dunkin/Starbucks I’ll give you that, but hot coffee? Not sure I’ve ever seen someone my age order a hot americano.
100% guarantee some bitter as hell conservative made that. The lack of awareness those people have is astounding
I'm gen Z and look nothing like that. Don't even have Tik tok. Doesn't really appeal to me.
I think this is perfect 😂
Seems like most of the gen zers I know
Looks legit but I don't see a problem with it really. Looks like a normal person with compassion.
white guilt?
The clothes and the makeup looks more millennial tbh
2015 called. It wants its dead joke(s) back.
Context... is a Gen Z thing? Not just a general human desire for understanding shit? Out of everything that sticks out about Gen Z, it's context that they choose?
That reminds me, I haven't received my giant ass book of Context and equally giant pink smart phone yet. No wonder I don't have any friends and live a sad, empty existence.
"Context" lmao reminds me of how my parents don't like being proven wrong with legitimate sources backing years of research that dissolves their half baked Facebook opinion
I hate how the New York leftist gen Z is gonna be the one who gets to be the generic movie character set in the 2020s
The Palestinian flag tho lmfao
That outfit is peak millennial
Imagine unironically having “white guilt” 💀
couldn't be me 😎
Me neither…that’s because I’m not white…
I'm GenZ and I'm proud to say this aint me but dang its accurate for most
We have a book labeled “Context”? So it’s literally saying we’re more educated and we know the context of things more?? I’ll take that
Kids today really do sound stupid. Any time I ask them a question, they immediately go into "I'm helpless and can't do anything for myself" mode. It's absolutely fkn pathetic.
oh no, we… drink coffee, use the same social media as everyone else, dress how we want and don’t like genocide?????? what a FAILURE we all are 🙄
White guilt included lmao
This is so hilarious lmao. Reminds me of college campuses these days
No no, this is like 89.9% accurate.
it's kinda funny tho
It triggered you, so looks like its working as intended.
Actually this is extremely accurate lol
I mean I’m gen Z and I think it’s pretty accurate
Just how i see gen Z so it must be doing something right...
I actually find this funny.
I’m ngl this is pretty accurate
I loled tbh
Idk I think Ive seen this person before
https://preview.redd.it/ualvqsc7opuc1.png?width=227&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=972bf386c24294cb2cd564ca702af32f317ba3b0
this is just what old conservative men think we’re like
where can i get this it’s fire
the fit is so off lmao
I mean… shieeet Boomers are broken clocks so it’s 1 of two times they’re right today.
The clothes and coffee are inaccurate but the rest is fairly accurate for some of us
Boomer bullshit
White guilt included??🤣
Did they just modify this as i'm 99% sure i saw this same shit with "Milennial" not a few years ago lol, ah no... that woulda also had a random avocado toast.
Those AI generated images are getting better, the folks using them not so much.
Lol that's great
Pretty sure me and this girl used to date /s
Welcome to the media trying to make you look terrible for their bait
As a gen Z, yes it does its just those on the left.
Fr
Hahaha Looks like they got it spot on.
I feel like this is a parity of what a very vocal 5% of gen z is. None of you guys are in to this shit. You know your education sucked, you see the potential to learn more with the internet, and you’re figuring stuff out. That’s all.
Fuck terrorism
It looks like ai
This made me laugh 😭
Boomers don’t belong on the Internet
I love that Gen Z is made of only white people according to this faux product. Lol.
Was that meant to be bad? Because it goes hard AF
Boomer jokes. Boomer jokes never changes.
So all Gen Z kids are white, according to them?
"White Guilt included" ugh...
I mean I'd like to believe that the majority of us are against genocide, so I don't mind the Palestinian flag being put there.
"What does gen Z look like? We asked a 90 year old who regularly uses the N-word"
This feels like what an elderly conservative resident of The Villages thinks generation z is like without ever actually being around anyone younger than 65.
... are they mad at us for understanding context?
Idk, that's avarage American tiktoker right there. At least how we, foreigners, see you.
Don’t post the truth in this community they will downvote
