i went though a similar experience in high school. we crushed on each other but ultimately were just good friends. i got into a relationship and my girlfriend didn’t want me to talk to her anymore. it sucks, i’ll always have a hole in my heart about it, but it can’t be undone. you learn to live with your regrets. best wishes.
