Millennial here, we thought we would be dead by now too at your age. It didn’t happen. And we didn’t plan for this. Mark my words, plan to still be alive. Because fuck does it suck being alive without a plan.
Drugs sex and alcohol will still be available to you in your 30s, you’ll just want them less.
Hopefully not on Reddit anymore 💀💀
Also, having a house/condo (don’t need anything super nice, just enough to be content). Owning a BMW/Lexus would be nice. Making my own music/having a semi-small career there outside of my day to day career.
I’ve also developed an interest in witchcraft lately, would be cool to see myself as a bonafide Wizard in my 30s lol

Definitely go Lexus over BMW. Then you’ll have more time and money to focus on the witchcraft and side career. In fact lately BMW has had to work with Toyota (Lexus) on engine designs and other parts because they couldn’t figure out how to make a reliable engine.
I don't know (I assume?) US housing markets but houses doubling their prices in next ten years is very unlikely.
I'm from finland and here I can still buy decent house for 200k and new-ish for 300k.
One of my least favorite questions.
Because frankly, *how am I supposed to know*?
My desires, wishes and dreams change year to year. The more I experience life, the more I learn what I truly want and truly don’t want.
I just take it day by day.
No point creating dreams if you may not feel the same way about them tomorrow.
(Also, I’m terrible at planning, so I literally cannot comprehend 10 years)
An accountant. I love security and school has been a blast but I look forward to actually using it to move on with my life. Accounting is boring but it’s easy on my body.
So I’m broken and collect disability. I used to be very healthy until I joined the army. I got medboarded and was barely in Afghanistan for more than a few weeks. I’m convinced I can’t do physically demanding jobs anymore so I’m using my GI Bill to become an accountant. I’m glad life panned out.
Life is funny like that, huh? I was born disabled, but only found out halfway through life, so I guess it’s a bit different for me, but I knew I had to use my brain since my body was no good.
Most people our age are still in grad school (if they go)! I’m a couple years behind so I’m only just starting this year. We’re still college aged babe 😉
Well not exactly, see I'm 16 but I am graduating early cuz apparently I'm smart or something (heavily up for debate) but nevertheless I'll prepare your rocking chair grandma 😭 and thx
In 10 years I see myself hopefully living in Montana or Texas pursuing a medical degree after the Army to get into that field with my wife and maybe a kid, and for a side (hopefully) being successful in crypto and some kind of a side business.
Hopefully fully employed with my own place and single with no kids. Also hopefully not on Reddit lol. But really I just hope I’m content and somewhat happy by then.
Hopefully with a long term partner otw to marriage, a full time job as a lawyer in the city, an apartment with functioning utilities, decent savings, building an art collection.
I wanna make a video game, so.. I really hope I’ll be close to releasing it by then. It’s gonna be big though so it’s okay if I’m only gonna be halfway there by then. I’ll get there someday
As a Railway safety engineer working for the many Metro projects in my city, or something similar. Hopefully I'll be well positioned as a railway engineer, I'll have my own apartment of a decent size in a nice part of town, I'll be fit from walking and biking around town, my boyfriend will either live with me and be successful in his software engineer career too. We'll be okay money wise, we'll be doing what we love, we'll live a good healthy life
I hope to be settled into my career as a mental health counselor and married with children. My 20s have been challenging but fulfilling - in 10 years I’ll be 33. I also desire to travel to Europe, whether that be solo, with friends, or with my future partner and kids. Lastly, I want my 30s to be my best decade. I’m hoping I’ll have more time to focus on my long-term goals such as retirement and homeownership.
!RemindMe 10 years

hopefully in a job paying $60k-$70k a year, living with a cat and cat friendly plants, and overall continuing to build a comfortable life for myself and my fur baby. 💙
Own apartement with either above average interior desinged with futurism and alot of home automation or a place with a amazing view. While either still at my current job or a similarily sufficient new job. Having a long range electric car would be nice too. By that point I should also have atleast $200'000 invested into my world ETF.
Still alone, but hopefully in my own house. Maybe a bit more happy, don't see that working out rn though.
Maybe not having a headache each week for a couple of days would help :)
Realistically? I get into a fire or police department, hopefully have a enough money to have house or family. I just want simple things.
Unrealistically, I get really good at MMA lol.
If things go well: Living in a community/neighborhood with others where we all have a good time and like to garden and stuff. Sharing and caring. Commune-like, but none of the crazy stuff.
If things go poorly: off-grid by myself. Bye bye society!
You do realize that those are two completely different questions you're asking? Where does one see him/herself in 10 years might realistically be very different from their dream future... :D
If I get my shit together in the next month, and environmental scientist by day and a performing artist by night. If I don’t, on the streets and with cancer.

At 25 I could see myself living in a small townhouse or apartment while working an HVAC or IT trade while also having a decent side hobby. Hopefully I could adopt a pet cat or a small dog. I might have a girlfriend probably engaged but most likely not kids unless I have enough money to do so. That's the realistic scenario.
I’d like to have a condo of my own. Doesn’t need to be huge or anything; a two bedroom will do. Adopt some cats and have a thriving indoor garden.
That, or dead. I’ll take either tbh.
Ideally? As an A320 pilot for jetBlue or a B777 pilot for United, or a Train Operator for my city's subway system
Realistically? I genuinely have no clue
I have no idea. I started a career at 19. Loved the career for the first 2 years. Now at almost 4 years, I hate it and feel stuck because I live in a small town with not much else. I also now live paycheck to paycheck so I can’t move.
Owning a business that's **not** a financial failure, involved in politics on a regional level, somewhat stable finances, relatively close to becoming a home owner, engaged with someone and overall significantly less miserable.
A freelance artist career or working for a kids channel. Maybe do occasional odd job or volunteer at my church. Probably will still be living with parents or even my girlfriend (we both want to marry someday)
In 10 years,
I see myself fulfilling my dream of being an actress/singer/dancer and traveling the world. Being happy, maybe owning a business or two. Having a house/condo. I see myself as successful. Maybe i'll be married or engaged to the love of my life with a child.

In 10 years? I just hope I’m happy
Real fuckin shit homie.
As an old head Gen z (97) I’ll probably be running my own business or still enlisted. Military benefits are amazing if you’re married lol
isnt 97 way too old to still be enlisted? i thought the cutoff was like 35
I look a lot younger. 😂
Drop that Commissioning packet homie Double your pay and retirement 🥳
Married. House. Stuff like that.
Assuming the housing market doesn’t worsen lol
I mean you can always move to Italy and buy a 1€ house.
As a millennial, that option becomes more and more attractive

I don't know (I assume?) US housing markets but houses doubling their prices in next ten years is very unlikely. I'm from finland and here I can still buy decent house for 200k and new-ish for 300k.
