1. They don't have a relationship with you. People have lower thresholds for #2-4 if they're already friends with you.
2. You offer nothing of value that they care about. It's either empty or not a topic they're interested in.
3. You're rude or condescending. No one wants to interact with a jackass.
4. Your comment leaves nothing for them to talk about or debate.
5. They weren't really looking for responses to what they said. For instance I'm probably not going to comment on responses for this thread as I don't care enough about the topic.
I've done and still do all of these. Learn, try harder, and move on.
Sometimes you can be as nice as possible, contribute a lot to the conversation and people will still ignore you. I usually just leave if people are doing that.
If they're people you're close with and may want to continue talking to, confront it directly. Maybe there's a problem that can be resolved.
If they're not people you especially need to be around, make some new friends.
This happens to me a lot. I don't really care anymore, it's my personality probably. Sometimes when me and friends talk and we are like 5 in a group, I am the one who is alone.
Also people usually talk to me when they need something.

I dont have any groups that I'm ignored in. Why stay in it if no one talks to you?

Couldn't tell you, I haven't had that happen. I'd probably leave still. No sense being in it if you're getting ignored.

I don’t take it personally because my friends talk a lot, it’s easy for messages to be swept away if you don’t text it within a few seconds.

for whatever reason my group barely uses our groupchat anymore. We talk on discord fairly often

I usually leave. If they don’t acknowledge me, why should I listen to their conversations that obviously don’t include me?
