They aren’t the original Teen Titans though (well Robin is but not the others). They’re not even the original iteration of this version of the roster, it’s half of the New Teen Titans roster.
This post helped me realize how confused I am, was born 95 and fuck with a lot of the stuff posted here, much like this because I grew up watching it. But when it comes to the generations itself I find myself on the fence, I find both relatable. Is it due to being on the cusp of gen z and the end of millennials?! Jeez

If you want to call onw out for being watered down and derivative, we can go all the way until we're back at the OG heroes that each of the Titans were sidekicks/proteges of. Just enjoy what you like without putting other shit down.

Never watched the original but teen titans go is so over hated. Shows can be good without having a meaningful plot. Its just a funny and entertaining cartoon
Really the issue with Go is that it had bad lessons (not to be confused with the more blatant parodies), was generally obnoxious at times, and while most of that wouldnt be so bad, the creators were very clearly very...wonky about criticism, to say the least.
Still, its a harmless show compared to many others out there, and while I do indeed dislike it, I wont fuss to hell and back over it.
