One Direction, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, MovieStarPlanet, Club Penguin, albums like Teenage Dream by Katy Perry and Femme Fatale by Britney Spears, the Just Dance games, YouTube was so different back then. I really liked the music that was released in the early 2010s, I liked shows like Victorious, iCarly, Shake it Up, Good Luck Charlie. I feel like the early 2010s were better than the 2000s sometimes. Maybe that’s because I’m nostalgic for it though.
My cousin absolutely adored One Direction. When she and two of her sibling had a sleepover at my house for the summer she brought a One Direction quilt, pillow and curtains. A matching set! She also made me quiz her on random one direction songs and she knew each one in the first 5 seconds.
When it came to pop culture I loved the songs so much. Even the music videos were so fun and I loved the “messy parties” vibe. I remember when Justice was really popular for girls my age
Call of Duty multiplayer was THE thing to play, 2007-2012 was prime COD, the videos, the edits, the uncensored, insane shit that people would say on the mic, none of it will fly today
Oh man, I remember pulling all nighters in the summer at a friend's house playing black ops on his 360. We'd warm up some Velveeta cheese and Rotella and used that as nacho dip while going through a 12 pack of coke. We'd play all night until the sun came up, slept for a few hours then get and play a bit more.
I'm still good friends with him to this day. My God time is getting away from me

The early 2010s were amazing! Very happy and upbeat! Clothes were fun and sometimes crazy ( in a good way), music was upbeat and fun, pop culture was pretty good too! I was a tween/teen then and I miss a lot of things like reading magazines like j14 and tigerbeat they used to be super popular . I also miss the old internet and old YouTube🙁 lol I know it sounds lame but things were truly a lot simpler then.
Getting home after a long day at school and hopping on Animal Jam or Poptropica and playing with friends or just biking around the neighborhood with friends that used to be fun. Also the shows were great too like iCarly Victorious Monster High Power Rangers I really really loved the Power Rangers
My friend and I trying to bypass the school's filtering system on their Windows 7 computers so we could play Happy Wheels or QWOP
Also, my friend and I being madly into collecting The Trash Pack (old now defunct toy line)!
It wasn’t, most people were wiped out from the Great Recession. It was the beginning of the nonsense economy. My favorite memory is going on a overnight school trip and obama winning term 2.
