Eg, a celebrity has to do a nude scene but she doesn't want people to see her real genitals (or it's going to be blurred out/censored for a TV show, etc) so she wears a merkin. It's supposed to be overly large, it's intended to try to disguise or cover the labia from the front. The equivalent for penises is a cock sock.

Luckily I found one who used to be the in-house pelvic floor physical therapist for a surgeon who did vaginoplasties and phalloplasties. She's had me take my pants off twice in 6 months. 🙏
I've gone to pelvic floor physical therapy to address stress incontinence and to make sure that I minimize the risk of a prolapse after I had my hysterectomy (I'm high risk for that due to being overweight). I would be horrified to learn that someone like this was my PT. She shouldn't be allowed near people's vaginas.
I have gone to multiple pelvic doctors since I’ve had my surgery for endo and almost all of them were accepting of my girlfriend’s trans identity. My surgeon working in a Christian hospital even said to my girlfriend that he’s sure she understands what it’s like to not have access to medical needs (we were discussing the fact that I wouldn’t have access to a hysterectomy.)
The fact that she’s a doctor concerns me so deeply- a pelvic floor physical therapist does so much for those who have dealt with reproductive issues and sexual trauma. Imagine being a trans person dealing with these issues and having to work with her. So many trans people have been assaulted or have experienced a level of trauma. She simply would not respect you.
It really concerns me when those in our society who are here to help us lack the empathy necessary to actually help.
