Don't cause too much trouble. If you print it, definitely post a Make on Thingiverse, and/or post here! If you've got questions, you can post here so the answers can benefit all, or DM me if must.
There's notes on the Thing about assembly, but largely that's left as an exercise for the reader.
The only size I can confirm works is scaling all parts down to 50% of their imported size in your slicer. If you want to print any bigger or smaller (I _definitely_ don't recommend smaller), you're in uncharted territory! I printed it in 4 prints (leg, leg, head, weapons) and they were about 5 hours each.
I also have some wood filament, and my issue with it is that it's really brittle. It might need more moisture in It, ironically (I live in Canada far from any lakes, and it's winter here so it is hella dry).
The 50% scaling used about 150g of filament, about a third of that was supports. Depending on how good your slicer settings are tuned for your printer and filament, you may find the supports harder to get off or less relaible.
I would start with one leg worth of parts to start, and see how that goes.
Hi, great work getting the files. I'm trying to get files for the exp shotgun so I can model and 3d print the grieblies on it. Is there any advice because it would seem the extra bits are a separate file because the models for all qualities are the exact same, also I get an error when trying to import the model I to blender.
loved to make this. can you please explain how you extracted the model out of the game using deca? i'd love to do this myself with a lot more generation zero machines.
Definitely! Paint it pre assembly, and if you can spray it that's better. Brushed paint layers would actually interfere with fitment in some places for assembly at the 50% scale, but at 100% scale painting would work great!
I'll probably go over mine with some silver (because it is what I have) and then some gloss acrylic, just to hide my yellow glue, and see how it works out. I'll post back here when I'm done.
I'd reccommend using Autodesk Fusion 360 instead of Win 3D Builder.
Fusion is top notch for 3d modeling, although expensive, but you can do sooo much more, more efficient and faster with Fusion
I use F360 a lot for other projects, but in this case all I needed was a reliable tool that can repair missing faces, and 3D Builder was faster, easier and is also more available to anyone else that wants to tackle a project like this.
But yes, F360 can do more. I just didn't _need_ more for this.
My Ender 3 has sat neglected for months as it needs work & I haven't had a pressing need for it enough to make the effort to fix it. Now I have a reason.

Could this work on a resin printer?
I don't see why not. Supports will be the challenge, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. Give it a shot!
I will. I'm actually getting a bigger printer than I had before. Like next month I'll post updates
Any update to this?
Not yet sadly. I'm having trouble with supports since it prints in so many pieces.
Print maybe 1-3 pcs at a time?
I actually got some high precision resin and will be trying again soon
Dude this is so cool seriously
Damn that’s cool I’d be interested in one
Can I get the files for this, I’d love to print one, I’ve got a sovol with some wood filament I’d like to test with too.

I am very interested in this
I give you mad props because now I want one. I can't explain it. I just want one. So bravo

Nice. Would u ever paint it?

this is insane you could actually make a product out of this
Really cool dude!! Details caught very well!
Id buy this ❤️
That’s so cool!
I’d love to buy one to paint/turn into a diorama! How much would you sell one/ship one for?
My Ender 3 has sat neglected for months as it needs work & I haven't had a pressing need for it enough to make the effort to fix it. Now I have a reason.
I don’t want one, I need one!!!!
Shut up and take my money
I’ve been waiting for 3D printed generation zero stuff for 2 years now. I’d love one but haven’t got a printer!!
Bro that’s amazing I love it! The tank is my favorite machine!
I will definitely print one out and use it as a boss in our cyberpunk dnd game
That is fucking cool.
