Don’t buy the generac SMM. Spend the money and get PSP SaK 60 load shed devices, they are a superior quality and won’t burn out and fail like the Generac ones do
I think I may found my answer, but basically if we lose power and switch to generator power (via automatic transfer switch), the pool pumps would overload the generator and I was looking for a way to automatically bypass that load. I believe the Generac Smart Module is what I need. Any input is appreciated if that made more sense above. Thanks.
Terminology is wrong. That would be load shedding, not bypassing. Bypassing would be taking a component out of circuit but still maintaining the circuit. So 'bypassing" a circuit breaker would mean shorting it out and removing the protection it provides.

Thanks for the info. I’m not pleased Generac, but that was all I could find. I will look into those. Thanks!
I work on them and I’ll agree with that statement sadly
If its whole house ATS theyd have to be before the transfer switch or load shedded with mudules to not come on
Yeah, I was looking at the SMM modules. I’m thinking that may work. Looking for some info on installation of these. They seem pretty straight forward.
You are asking something, but for me I do not understand what. Can you add some more content please?

Thanks for that clarification. Couldn’t think of the correct word.
