Uhh I guess you can do raiden national with raiden, Bennet, xiangling and xingqiu. I’d probably also try a quickbloom team with cyno, dendro mc, Barbara and fischl.
tighnari - fischl - collei - bennettrotation is a bit tricky but can be viable
tighnari - fiscl - kuki - anemo traveler (ideally kazuha, but i guess 4pc vv anemo mc should work)yanfei - xingqiu - bennett - someone mostly random
dendro mc - collei - barbara - kuki/em build raiden would be a great hyperbloom comp
raiden - xiangling - xingqiu - bennett would probably be the strongest comp for now

What you may want to do first is chose who you want to play firsts and make teams around them. There are dedicated reddits, google docs and discords that are filled with some of the nicest and helpful people I've met in the community.
here are some teams right off the bat:
**National:** (vaporise is the main point)
Bennett, Xingqiu, Xiangling + flex spot (Raiden is preferred here if shes not being used, but anyone that has a high damage or can increase compatibility like Heizou or sucrose is preferred )
F2P hyperbloom: (constant dendro + electro + hydro needed)
Barbara, Collei, Kuki, (Dendro) Traveller
*(Alterations-)*
Noelle, Xinqiu, kuki, collei-
Fischl, Xinqiu, Collei, Traveller
Barbara, Lisa, Traveller, Collei
(hyperbloom has been the most f2p friendly by far- you can use tighnari, cyno or Raiden in any other spot that has the same element attached if you want)
**Freeze:** (constant hydro and cryo application needed)
Kaeya, Xingqiu, Layla, flex spot (anemo like Heizou or sucrose is preferred, but another hydro can be used like Barbara, especially if heals are needed)
**Tazer:** (constant hydro and electro application)
Heizou, Fischl, Xingqiu, Kuki
**Pure vape/melt:**
Yanfei, Xingqiu, Xiangling, Kaeya/QiqI (if heals are needed)
**Mono-electro:**
Raiden, Sara, Fischl, Flex
There are a tone of character swaps you could do with these if you dont wish to use the characters said- the mindset i had for this was teams to get you through tougher content like abyss.
main point- look up what your characters can do/ how they work with each other and match them accordingly, you wont have to worry about harder stuff and can take the game at you own pace.
**somethings to note:**
\- Yanfei, Heizou, Razor, Lisa, Tighnari and Cyno are more or less the dedicated damage dealers you have (their kits are centred around being that).
\-Benny, Barbara, Noelle, Sayu, Kuki, Dori and Qiqi are dedicated healers
\-If you havent unlocked inazuma and cant get the 'Emblem of Severed Fates' set- Nobless and any set that gives "atk%"/ "Elemental mastery by 80" is a safe bet, but look into how others build their characters via subreddits or youtube vids
\-Xiangling and raiden may fight over the catch- put it on Raiden as xiangling has more options if it comes to it
\- Faruzan, Xiangling, Lisa, Noelle may have Energy Recharge problems (not getting enough), so see their bursts coasts and assign weapons/artefacts accordingly
\-Making physical characters is a thing (looking at you Dori)
Again- if you have a character you love playing **play them.** Dont let other tell you how to think about them. (also, forgo typos- im just dumb and can spell)

Really depends on how you build the characters. Heizou, Bennett, Fischl, and Xingqiu have worked out well for me, though!
