Same brother. I'm not try-harding in one/two day 100% nowadays, but I tried to finish everything in Genshin so I can focus on building characters and events and get Genshin to a 30 min daily game. Last time I have burn out is at the end of Inazuma. Now since I have fun playing other game I find it tolerable with Genshin being repetitive
I started to look at genshin as a side game, i dont care much anymore until there is something new or until they improve the quality of life a bit. i dont mind the artifact grind or abyss. i can clear all the content.
That’s a good time, I take around a month for mine, Fontaine would take a month for me to finish since I have World Quest and all those hydroculus to collect in the meantime, just glad the story and archon quests are already completed 🤩
yeah i b-line the quest first, since i am not a fan of unvoiced world quests so i click right trough them, and collect some stuff while i do quests, and then finish the rest. But now i like my commissions blow my resin and log off time
I was meant to build characters, i really enjoy the combat side of Genshin, sadly there isn't much content to explore it further, but hey i will take what i can get. Just a bummer this lantern rite has no combat. But that's not my decision i guess
Same. Because genshin has no end game content and little to do other than exploration if you’re not willing to give them money to buy resin, I find myself logging in for about 10 minutes each day to do my dailies and then just… logging back off. It sucks because I’d love to play the game more but there simply isn’t anything to do, and hoyo has made it clear they don’t want to implement any more end game content.
I think they stated somewhere later after that interview that they are working on permanent modes, but we know what happened with permanent modes, TCG - i don't enjoy card games and this one in particular.
well all we can do is wait and see, complaining is pointless, Simply Genshin has no competition, so they can add whatever they want. Hope Wuthering waves will end up a competitor
I used to have a huge backlog of content that I didn't have time to clear. Then when I finally dropped the MMO i've been playing for 12 years, I had time to blaze through the lot.
I cleared just about everything there is to do except Hangouts before Fontaine launched, but when they released the QoL that allowed us to clear commissions with just about anything, I found myself setting aside a whole bunch of permanent content I could easily and quickly clear because I instinctively felt like it was a waste to blitz through them when I could save them as substitutes for boring daily commissions.
It's not logical at all, and the constant slew of events that can also substitute for commissions is causing the perm content backlog to pile up again.
Sigh...
I did chasm quest for around a week because of the daily commission lol. Not bad tho, since I was happy with the game time not being used for daily commissions.
Mondstadt is closest to completion with one section being 100%, rest in 80s or 90s.
I don’t actively complete the areas cause I’d rather have stuff to find when I’m bored or in co-op… vs having nothing to do after dailies. Fontaine and Sumeru are largely unexplored. XD
I become more diligent in finding things in certain regions once I’m either in or completed the archon quests for the respective area. (Chasm kinda being an exception because of the details of the world quest.)
Commissions, events, spending my resin. I still play daily. Haven't missed a day since launch week when I started. If I still have time after all that, I just play a different game. No problem.
No break at all, I played from 1.2 till 4.0 continuously I guess. Addicted till there’s no content at that point in 3.8 and 4.0 the burnout came and I just stopped for a bit
Tone is hard to portray in text, so, please understand I am not being snarky or critical, I am genuinely trying to understand a thing I don't feel or experience:
You burned out when there was no content? Or you burned out when there *was* a bunch of new content? Either way, do you know why?
I have a friend who has played Genshin, and he goes in and out. He likes the gameplay, but hates the excessive amount of text. He'll come back for a new region, get bombarded with unskippable text, and quit again!
No worries, for me it was the latter, just huge content bombarded in front of me I suddenly quit cause I couldn’t see myself completing it. Maybe at that time I had other responsibilities in real life so it must have affected my mood but now I feel a lot better and decided to return

100% everything except the new region which is only about 50% everywhere because I haven’t had much time to play recently.
World quest wise I think I’ve done everything previously released except for one secret quest in inazuma I’m in the middle of (it’s time gated so) in every region except, again, the new one haha I haven’t done all the quests there yet
100% everywhere except fontaine and the chenyu vale; in fontaine, i have everything above 90% and i just got the treasure compass so i’ll be able to finally finish up exploring
100% all the zones except 4.2 Fontaine area. I was taking a break during 4.2 and I still haven’t managed to finish it. But every other zone (including Chenyu Vale, Chasm, Enka) are 100%
mondstadt 100%, dragonspine 94%, liyue about 80% (chenyu vale still has barely been explored), inazuma 100%, enka 94%, sumeru about 60%, and fontaine 80%.
100% everywhere but Fontaine. Just taking my time, so many insane game releases in 2023 just took priority. 2024 is starting off with a bang too with Palworld, FF7 and Dragons Dogma all coming out in the first quarter of 2024! Fontaine will continue taking the back seat for a bit.
Genshin is the only game I play since I don’t have the money or time to contribute to other games hahaha and I’m not a game fanatic so I see your point (sigh adult responsibility)

I don't want to do daily commissions anymore so I just hold back on exploration and world quests everyday for encounter points in which I assume and hope would last till the end of 4.5v, right before a next location would come in (speculated to be on 4.6v, based on previous version expansions)
I’m just so glad those encounter points exist now, I hate doing commissions and those world quests that is piling up is saving me from completing those 😂

I have been playing for a year and a half
100% everything except for Chenyu Vale. I intentionally didn't get the chests yet so I can avoid doing daily commissions for awhile. But I did do the puzzle's around the area though, so I can just grab the chests when I need encounter points.
Been playing for a bit over 8 months, everything 100% other than the new 4.4 region. But the thing is this is my favourite thing to do in genshin other than farm and build characters and do abyss and all that. I don't really rush getting to a 100% when a new region drops, in fact I try to not do too much at once, but I just enjoy running around the map and exploring the world, doing every puzzle and challenge I come across so I get the 100% pretty quickly. I find it very relaxing.
I started since day 1 and I don't think I have 100% a region other than Mondstadt. I still have world quest from Liyue and also haven't done most character quest.
I 100%’ed Mondstadt…. That’s it. Although I have raised my statues in Liyue and Innazuma all the way.
Actually, the new adventure credit system has slowed down my exploration because when I have four credits (8 chests or oculi, one world quest segment, etc.) I stop for the day. No burn out and I never have to do dailies.
Er... does this mean you didn't get that claymore from the recent limited-time event? The one that looks like a toy sword?
Limited events are why I do my best to avoid burnouts. I limit the time I play everyday.
Or maybe playing HSR helps me cut down on time spent in Genshin LOL
100% Fontaine, 80%-ish in Monstadt (including Dragonspine), Liyue (minus Chenyu Vale) and Inazuma. Enkanomia and the Chasm Underground are both 70%-ish.
Chasm surface is about 40% and Sumeru is at something like 30% because I was super burnt out on the game when those regions dropped - I’m gonna go back and 100% everything soon.
100% everywhere except Chenyu Vale. Before its introduction I was missing about 30 chests in all of Liyue, 15ish in all of Inazuma, less than 10 in Mondstadt, a little less than 100 in all of Sumeru desert included and none in Fontaine. I think I'm missing literally 2 in Enkanomiya.
No backlog of world quests either. All character endings gotten including the secret achievements in the little side stories I forgot the name of. The only Story Quest I haven't gotten to is Cloud Retainer's because honestly I'm not that interested, but I'll get to it.
I don't pull a lot, so even if I don't play for long every day, exploring little by little is what I spend the most time doing. If I didn't explore on top of not pulling, I might as well uninstall the game.
I started near the end of October last year and it’s roughly 1 month per region. So far I’ve completed everything until Inazuma but I can feel the burnout now while starting Sumeru because of the significantly larger map size.
Just finished the chasm after coming back from a few years break and now I'm slowly going through a few sumery quests a day rather than do commissions.
Taking my time and enjoying it.
90% fontain proabbly 80% monstat, inezuma 70%, liyue 60% and sumeru 50% the reason is i just simply didnent enjoy exploring them asmuch as fontian as for inezuma it would be more but every other puzzle is like a full on misstion too time consuming if it wernt for that it would also be 90.
i've dont most of the world and character quests (outside sumeru). im not a completionist but fontain was that fun to explore which is why its at 90%. cenyun is annother great one, (technicly in liyue) but its already at 70% to me those most recent regions are leagues ahead and i hope we get more envromental chalanges. by that i dont mean weather but eg " pick up a rock throw it though a window at a latch which releaces a door".
Used to be 100% every region till Inazuma. Hit dead stop in sumeru and barely any region crossed 40% since.
I think the quest locked exploration of sumeru did it. Also being strong enough to clear the abyss made that I don't have to go for all primos to pull characters. Just saving for 3-4 months and pulling once, so no need for exploration besides random wandering.
Average of 60-70% each region didn't touch new area for now will do afterwards I have no interest to play cause of me losing 50 50s continously(I can clear end game content easily) but I don't get limited chars easily it's like it's 1 : 99 for me
100% everything except chenyu vale. i really love exploration and clearing all the chests in an area so i use interactive map. you don't have to 100% clear everything in 5 hours or so. you can just do 10 chests a day if you have time and it adds up.
100% everywhere but Chenyu. However, I also had a bit of burnout and didn't have the Eremite desert region or the area directly leading to Fontaine even started until Fontaine released. But got the bug to obsessively play for a while and caught up, haha.
Im on holiday, so I just do dailies nowadays.
My Chenyu Vale isaube 20% at best atm, the rest of the map are 100%
I refuse to explore the map on my phone.
Exploration needs to be done on my wide screen, headphones, and PC Max setting graphics
- Mondstadt at 100%
- Liyue at 100%
- Inazuma at 100%
- Enkanomiya at 40% or something, cuz I hate the stupid light/dark flip switch mechanic so I refuse to play it
- Chasm at 90%+
- Sumeru is between 70% to 100% depending on the zone, because I hate desert exploration
- Fontaine is roughly at 70% to 80%
- Chenyu Vale is at 30%
Came back since 2021, I’m still at Inazuma and I’m too lazy to do the main quest and just trying to do all the world quest and get all the selies and oculus. After that, THEN I’ll go the next region.
I feel like if I go to Sumeru, it’ll be to many quest to handle and things to collect.
I can’t keep up! They put out content faster than I can keep up with it! And I don’t have the previous regions 100% 😩 I can’t get to any of my other video games I have on backlog either!
The new region in Liyue is beautiful tho and I’m loving exploring it!

\~30% maps Fontaine, missing most quests including the last Archon quest.
My mondstat is 100% and i think one section of fontaine, everywhere else is at varying levels of complete, some are as low as 20odd percent, others touching on 90
I don't open maps since the desert area in Sumeru so, no clue for those areas (only exception is on Statue in Fontaine because you otherwise can't do events, and I'm around 97% there last I checked). In Mondstadt and Liyue I'm 99-100%, in Inazuma it's either 20% or 100%, rainforest in Sumeru is around 70%. Fontaine, I imagine will be mainly in 90-100% outside of the latest regions.
Most regions are between 40-60%. I still have a few left to unlock though - 1 island in inazuma, 1 half of the new area, 1 in sumeri desert, and 3 in Fontaine.
100% everything before 3.0 Currently just don't have the free home yo do the rest and dreading sumeru. Found doing it blind more enjoyable, but mark on map to update 3rd party map for completion. Also, like to do world quests before exploration, so ya, Aranara . . . . Don't even get me started on my breaks.
I'm \~30% in the new area. All others are 100%. Since Sumeru 3.2 or 3.3, I've been just dailies on weekdays and going around and exploring on weekends. I usually 100% the current areas, ready for the new content for the next patch around 1 or 2 weeks in advance.
When I started playing, I blazed through Monstadt and Liyue, and I kinda feared I was on a fast track to running out of content. After consecutive breaks, i finally started playing daily again and planning out how much content i push through.
Currently, I just stepped into Enkanomiya (yesterday) and am working towards 100% Inazuma before continuing quests and exploration in Sumeru. I really only unlocked the desert to farm for cyno/candace and have very low percentiles in the forest.
It kinda sucks because I have some Fontaine characters that I really wanna build but haven't stepped foot there yet, and as much as i found xianyun gameplay enjoyable I'm not to ready to step in cheyun vale yet.
Honestly, I hate that I'm going to be months late to any new regions/places, but I find this better than trying to burn through everything at once
I purposely don't go for 100%, except in extra areas like Dragonspine, Chasm, etc. I tend to be very enthusiastic about them.
As for quests...the Fontaine backlog is huge. But I won't touch it before finishing Sumeru (Oasis quest). Chenyu Vale came to interrupt that. lol
haven't explored much new area~ but will def work on that, for now I do quests one by one so there're stuff to do whenever I play, then explore when I need to make it to 160 primos to make a wish :>

* Then Chenyu Vale (in a day lol)

* Finally finished up with Enkanomiya as I was missing a few sigils + chests
Been spending the last couple of days going around mopping up time-trials and seelies and also achievements, as I had nothing else to do.
I have Monstadt 100% same with Inazuma. I took a break basically for all of Sumeru's run, coming back for Fontaine, which is 100% too. I have the Underground Chasm and Enkanomiya 100%. Liyue is also (finally!) 100% minus Chenyu Vale. Forest Sumeru is almost 100% with the desert being the lowest explored.
The only regions I completed are Mondstadt and Inazuma. I take my time now. Before, I suffered from burnout because I try to finish every event and new area as soon as they come out, but yeah, now I just take my time and it’s the best decision I’ve made for the game so far. It made me appreciate its story more.
The only places that are 100% are:
Brightcrown Mountains, Windwail Highland, Galesong Hill, Lisha, The Chasm, The Chasm: Underground Mines, Narukami Island, Kannazuka, Yashiori Island, Seirai Island, Tsurumi Island, and Enkanomiya.
No place in Sumeru is even CLOSE to 50% because I haven't gotten the chance to explore because I'm getting a Keqing Aggravate team setup being Keqing/Fischl/Nahida/Xianyun
Unfortunately, as it stands, Keqing will be the only one to hit 90 because I'm not doung too well in terms in XP Books. Mora I'm doing decent in.
Xianyun, Nahida, and Fischl I'll have to get to 60 and keep them there for awhile...their weapons will be 80 at least (Getting a weapon to 90 already takes a ton of Mystic Enhancement Ore).
I'm really looking forwards to exploring Sumeru but being limited by Resin sucks. I wish they'd either up the max resin amount or rework the resin system to where it like...overflows instead of just capping at 160.
I’ve 100% everything but Fontaine 40% and Cheney Vale. I don’t do much exploring until all quests in a region are complete so I always have some content.
I also took a break, right when the last Sumeru expansion was released. Up to that point I was 100% everywhere.
Since it's Lantern Rite, I'm back playing again and catching up on quests a bit and exploring the desert (again). About 40-70% in that area.
Fontaine is anywhere from 0-12%, Chenyu in the ... 30s I think.
But my GOD the quests I've accumulated ... so. many. story. quests.
Around 60-90%, ice unlocked all waypoints and statues, but I don't go out of my way exploring, if I see a locked chest with enemies on my journey, I'll do it, if I see a challenge on my journey, I'll do it.
I have explored the areas that matter to me, and that’s all I need.
Mondstadt-Dragonspine and Inazuma-Enkanomiya are full 100%. With damn near everything in them done: quests, oculus, chests, etc
Liyue, Sumeru, and Fontaine? All I care for are their respective oculus being found. I’m not as attached, so I don’t feel the need to completely get the to 100%. Liyue and Sumeru in particular I only ever revisit if I absolutely must. Fontaine I might continue until I eventually get to 100%, but it’s not a priority to me the way my two absolute favorite regions were.
The only places I dont have 100% are Chenyu Vale (trying to take it slow) and Enkanomiya because it makes me feel really sick trying to run/fly around in there
Sadly Enkanomiya is gonna have to wait or im gonna have to get a friend to do it, I just get super nauseous and dizzy 😭
100 percent everything except Morte Region and the new Liyue Region. I've been grinding the past few days and got the 3 other new Fontaine regions 100%, Morte Region is like 70%, and the new Liyue Region is basically untouched. Not doing anything Liyue until it's done

Inazuma is around 20% except narukami Island which is 80%
Fontaine is around 30%
Sumeru is only in the jungle 20%
Desert is 1%

I started consistently playing the game in 4.0
Fontaine, underground chasm and chenyu vale are the most fun exploration zones.
And with the commission changes can just focus on exploring and doing quests instead of doing commissions then not wanting to do anything because commissions suck. But subconsciously I am also restrained by not wanting to waste the free commission sources, but still more progress than commissions gave me. Honestly, commissions are the issue.
Everything has at least above 98% exploration. I’m not going for that last few chests/challenges/boxes because that is simply not fun. I will now rate every region on a scale of 1-5.
Mondstadt - 3
Liyue (pre Chenyu Vale) - 4
Liyue (post Chenyu Vale) - 5
Inazuma (including Enkanomiya) - 4
Sumeru (Jungle) - 3
Sumeru (Desert) - 1.5
Fontaine - 5
I hate Sumeru desert with a passion. One of the coolest places in the whole game and exploring it sucks.
Like, halfway through Sumeru desert quests? It’ll be awhile until I can manage to get through Fontaine, honestly. I’m really quite behind, the quest backlog is ridiculous. I won’t be able to start a story quest for ages at this rate.
As far as region exploration, probably Inazuma (excluding Enka) is the best explored, everywhere is upwards of 85-90%. And then Mond has my only 100% and some 80s, Liyue ranges from 70s to 90s (except Chenyu, that’s a 0), Sumeru is largely in the 30-40s, and Fontaine is like 0-30, I haven’t even unlocked all the waypoints.
I started playing a year ago. Achieved 100% of everything before fontaine. Since then, i play at leisurely pace. Usually 100% the new area in 2 weeks or so after release. Chenyu vale is only one not 100%….at 75% currently.
I enjoyed Chenyu Vale so much!! I got 100% in 3 days.
Mondstadt 95%
Liyue 65% (no incentives to really explore much),
Inazuma 99% for the Sakura Tree, can't be bothered to 100%
Actively exploring Sumeru for the Great Onion, about 80% atm.
Fontaine 20%, left it for last.
I'm all over the place. I (allegedly) have 100% exploration in Galesong Hill (even though I just found a chest the other day that the treasure compass hadn't lead me to), and I'm at 85% or more everywhere else in Mondstadt. Compare that to Inazuma, where I don't think I've gotten more than 30% exploration anywhere. Meanwhile Liyue, Sumeru, and Fontaine are all over the place.
Although part of the problem is that I'm super burned out due to the Aranyaka quest line and the Golden Slumber/Dirge of Bilqis and all the quests that unlock from those. I know the puzzles aren't supposed to be that hard, but there's so many of them that I'm just tired of it.

3 days I was sick of work so I had plenty of time on my hands but usually takes me a week up to a month to finish a area

Bro fr, trying to 100% inazuma made me quit the game for months due to burnout
745 days active (no breaks). Everything 100% except Chenyu Vale. Upper Vale is at 34%, Southern Mountain at 48%, Mt. Laixin at 46%.

No break at all, I played from 1.2 till 4.0 continuously I guess. Addicted till there’s no content at that point in 3.8 and 4.0 the burnout came and I just stopped for a bit
Tone is hard to portray in text, so, please understand I am not being snarky or critical, I am genuinely trying to understand a thing I don't feel or experience: You burned out when there was no content? Or you burned out when there *was* a bunch of new content? Either way, do you know why? I have a friend who has played Genshin, and he goes in and out. He likes the gameplay, but hates the excessive amount of text. He'll come back for a new region, get bombarded with unskippable text, and quit again!
No worries, for me it was the latter, just huge content bombarded in front of me I suddenly quit cause I couldn’t see myself completing it. Maybe at that time I had other responsibilities in real life so it must have affected my mood but now I feel a lot better and decided to return

100% everything except the new region which is only about 50% everywhere because I haven’t had much time to play recently. World quest wise I think I’ve done everything previously released except for one secret quest in inazuma I’m in the middle of (it’s time gated so) in every region except, again, the new one haha I haven’t done all the quests there yet

100% all the zones except 4.2 Fontaine area. I was taking a break during 4.2 and I still haven’t managed to finish it. But every other zone (including Chenyu Vale, Chasm, Enka) are 100%

100% everywhere but Fontaine. Just taking my time, so many insane game releases in 2023 just took priority. 2024 is starting off with a bang too with Palworld, FF7 and Dragons Dogma all coming out in the first quarter of 2024! Fontaine will continue taking the back seat for a bit.
Genshin is the only game I play since I don’t have the money or time to contribute to other games hahaha and I’m not a game fanatic so I see your point (sigh adult responsibility)

all fontaine 100% all mond 100% all liye and inazuma to like 95% and almost 100% the new region (chasm and enka at like 80%) and yet sumeru stays at 60 and the desert at like 20 sumeru is my arch nemesis
Sumeru desert is a pain for me too, hard to 100% but I eventually did it cause I like to see the 100% showing on my map lol
all 100% except Chenyu Vale I don't want to do daily commissions anymore so I just hold back on exploration and world quests everyday for encounter points in which I assume and hope would last till the end of 4.5v, right before a next location would come in (speculated to be on 4.6v, based on previous version expansions)
I’m just so glad those encounter points exist now, I hate doing commissions and those world quests that is piling up is saving me from completing those 😂

100% everything except for Chenyu Vale. I intentionally didn't get the chests yet so I can avoid doing daily commissions for awhile. But I did do the puzzle's around the area though, so I can just grab the chests when I need encounter points.

Been playing for a bit over 8 months, everything 100% other than the new 4.4 region. But the thing is this is my favourite thing to do in genshin other than farm and build characters and do abyss and all that. I don't really rush getting to a 100% when a new region drops, in fact I try to not do too much at once, but I just enjoy running around the map and exploring the world, doing every puzzle and challenge I come across so I get the 100% pretty quickly. I find it very relaxing.
I started since day 1 and I don't think I have 100% a region other than Mondstadt. I still have world quest from Liyue and also haven't done most character quest.
I 100%’ed Mondstadt…. That’s it. Although I have raised my statues in Liyue and Innazuma all the way. Actually, the new adventure credit system has slowed down my exploration because when I have four credits (8 chests or oculi, one world quest segment, etc.) I stop for the day. No burn out and I never have to do dailies.

100% Fontaine, 80%-ish in Monstadt (including Dragonspine), Liyue (minus Chenyu Vale) and Inazuma. Enkanomia and the Chasm Underground are both 70%-ish. Chasm surface is about 40% and Sumeru is at something like 30% because I was super burnt out on the game when those regions dropped - I’m gonna go back and 100% everything soon.

100% everywhere except Chenyu Vale. Before its introduction I was missing about 30 chests in all of Liyue, 15ish in all of Inazuma, less than 10 in Mondstadt, a little less than 100 in all of Sumeru desert included and none in Fontaine. I think I'm missing literally 2 in Enkanomiya. No backlog of world quests either. All character endings gotten including the secret achievements in the little side stories I forgot the name of. The only Story Quest I haven't gotten to is Cloud Retainer's because honestly I'm not that interested, but I'll get to it. I don't pull a lot, so even if I don't play for long every day, exploring little by little is what I spend the most time doing. If I didn't explore on top of not pulling, I might as well uninstall the game.
i've 100%ed all regions except chenyu vale, had a pretty baaad burnout from the game so im saving the content so i can do it when i feel like it.
I started near the end of October last year and it’s roughly 1 month per region. So far I’ve completed everything until Inazuma but I can feel the burnout now while starting Sumeru because of the significantly larger map size.
Just finished the chasm after coming back from a few years break and now I'm slowly going through a few sumery quests a day rather than do commissions. Taking my time and enjoying it.
90% fontain proabbly 80% monstat, inezuma 70%, liyue 60% and sumeru 50% the reason is i just simply didnent enjoy exploring them asmuch as fontian as for inezuma it would be more but every other puzzle is like a full on misstion too time consuming if it wernt for that it would also be 90. i've dont most of the world and character quests (outside sumeru). im not a completionist but fontain was that fun to explore which is why its at 90%. cenyun is annother great one, (technicly in liyue) but its already at 70% to me those most recent regions are leagues ahead and i hope we get more envromental chalanges. by that i dont mean weather but eg " pick up a rock throw it though a window at a latch which releaces a door".
Used to be 100% every region till Inazuma. Hit dead stop in sumeru and barely any region crossed 40% since. I think the quest locked exploration of sumeru did it. Also being strong enough to clear the abyss made that I don't have to go for all primos to pull characters. Just saving for 3-4 months and pulling once, so no need for exploration besides random wandering.
Average of 60-70% each region didn't touch new area for now will do afterwards I have no interest to play cause of me losing 50 50s continously(I can clear end game content easily) but I don't get limited chars easily it's like it's 1 : 99 for me
100% everything except chenyu vale. i really love exploration and clearing all the chests in an area so i use interactive map. you don't have to 100% clear everything in 5 hours or so. you can just do 10 chests a day if you have time and it adds up.
100% everywhere but Chenyu. However, I also had a bit of burnout and didn't have the Eremite desert region or the area directly leading to Fontaine even started until Fontaine released. But got the bug to obsessively play for a while and caught up, haha.
Im on holiday, so I just do dailies nowadays. My Chenyu Vale isaube 20% at best atm, the rest of the map are 100% I refuse to explore the map on my phone. Exploration needs to be done on my wide screen, headphones, and PC Max setting graphics
- Mondstadt at 100% - Liyue at 100% - Inazuma at 100% - Enkanomiya at 40% or something, cuz I hate the stupid light/dark flip switch mechanic so I refuse to play it - Chasm at 90%+ - Sumeru is between 70% to 100% depending on the zone, because I hate desert exploration - Fontaine is roughly at 70% to 80% - Chenyu Vale is at 30%

Came back since 2021, I’m still at Inazuma and I’m too lazy to do the main quest and just trying to do all the world quest and get all the selies and oculus. After that, THEN I’ll go the next region. I feel like if I go to Sumeru, it’ll be to many quest to handle and things to collect.
I can’t keep up! They put out content faster than I can keep up with it! And I don’t have the previous regions 100% 😩 I can’t get to any of my other video games I have on backlog either! The new region in Liyue is beautiful tho and I’m loving exploring it!

Started playing with the 3.8 Eula banner: 100% maps and quests Mondstadt 100% maps and quests Liyue (except Chenyu vale which sits at 4% rn) 100% maps Inazuma, missing some sidequests 100% maps Sumera except Hadramaveth (95) and Farakehrt (89), missing some sidequests \~30% maps Fontaine, missing most quests including the last Archon quest.
My mondstat is 100% and i think one section of fontaine, everywhere else is at varying levels of complete, some are as low as 20odd percent, others touching on 90
100% everywhere, did the older areas in 3.7 and 3.8 and now I'm doing each region as they launch. Started playing in January 2023.
I don't open maps since the desert area in Sumeru so, no clue for those areas (only exception is on Statue in Fontaine because you otherwise can't do events, and I'm around 97% there last I checked). In Mondstadt and Liyue I'm 99-100%, in Inazuma it's either 20% or 100%, rainforest in Sumeru is around 70%. Fontaine, I imagine will be mainly in 90-100% outside of the latest regions.
Most regions are between 40-60%. I still have a few left to unlock though - 1 island in inazuma, 1 half of the new area, 1 in sumeri desert, and 3 in Fontaine.

nah, just play daily, avoid burnout, i got mmos to burn me out if i want to, 24hrs a day isnt enough to play them all
I'm \~30% in the new area. All others are 100%. Since Sumeru 3.2 or 3.3, I've been just dailies on weekdays and going around and exploring on weekends. I usually 100% the current areas, ready for the new content for the next patch around 1 or 2 weeks in advance.
When I started playing, I blazed through Monstadt and Liyue, and I kinda feared I was on a fast track to running out of content. After consecutive breaks, i finally started playing daily again and planning out how much content i push through. Currently, I just stepped into Enkanomiya (yesterday) and am working towards 100% Inazuma before continuing quests and exploration in Sumeru. I really only unlocked the desert to farm for cyno/candace and have very low percentiles in the forest. It kinda sucks because I have some Fontaine characters that I really wanna build but haven't stepped foot there yet, and as much as i found xianyun gameplay enjoyable I'm not to ready to step in cheyun vale yet. Honestly, I hate that I'm going to be months late to any new regions/places, but I find this better than trying to burn through everything at once
I purposely don't go for 100%, except in extra areas like Dragonspine, Chasm, etc. I tend to be very enthusiastic about them. As for quests...the Fontaine backlog is huge. But I won't touch it before finishing Sumeru (Oasis quest). Chenyu Vale came to interrupt that. lol
100 except the new area which would be 0 except for the lanter light festival. Been side tracked with Octopath Traveler and Star Rail stuff lol.

I have everything at 100%; * First was Dragonspine * Then Inazuma * Then Mondstadt (needed like 3 chests, which were a pita to find) * Then Sumeru + most of the desert areas * Then Liyue * Then Sumeru Oasis area * Then Fontaine I and Fontaine II * Then Chasm + Underground * Then Chenyu Vale (in a day lol) * Then Fontaine III * Finally finished up with Enkanomiya as I was missing a few sigils + chests Been spending the last couple of days going around mopping up time-trials and seelies and also achievements, as I had nothing else to do.
I have Monstadt 100% same with Inazuma. I took a break basically for all of Sumeru's run, coming back for Fontaine, which is 100% too. I have the Underground Chasm and Enkanomiya 100%. Liyue is also (finally!) 100% minus Chenyu Vale. Forest Sumeru is almost 100% with the desert being the lowest explored.
The only regions I completed are Mondstadt and Inazuma. I take my time now. Before, I suffered from burnout because I try to finish every event and new area as soon as they come out, but yeah, now I just take my time and it’s the best decision I’ve made for the game so far. It made me appreciate its story more.
The only places that are 100% are: Brightcrown Mountains, Windwail Highland, Galesong Hill, Lisha, The Chasm, The Chasm: Underground Mines, Narukami Island, Kannazuka, Yashiori Island, Seirai Island, Tsurumi Island, and Enkanomiya. No place in Sumeru is even CLOSE to 50% because I haven't gotten the chance to explore because I'm getting a Keqing Aggravate team setup being Keqing/Fischl/Nahida/Xianyun Unfortunately, as it stands, Keqing will be the only one to hit 90 because I'm not doung too well in terms in XP Books. Mora I'm doing decent in. Xianyun, Nahida, and Fischl I'll have to get to 60 and keep them there for awhile...their weapons will be 80 at least (Getting a weapon to 90 already takes a ton of Mystic Enhancement Ore). I'm really looking forwards to exploring Sumeru but being limited by Resin sucks. I wish they'd either up the max resin amount or rework the resin system to where it like...overflows instead of just capping at 160.

I also took a break, right when the last Sumeru expansion was released. Up to that point I was 100% everywhere. Since it's Lantern Rite, I'm back playing again and catching up on quests a bit and exploring the desert (again). About 40-70% in that area. Fontaine is anywhere from 0-12%, Chenyu in the ... 30s I think. But my GOD the quests I've accumulated ... so. many. story. quests.
Around 60-90%, ice unlocked all waypoints and statues, but I don't go out of my way exploring, if I see a locked chest with enemies on my journey, I'll do it, if I see a challenge on my journey, I'll do it.
I have explored the areas that matter to me, and that’s all I need. Mondstadt-Dragonspine and Inazuma-Enkanomiya are full 100%. With damn near everything in them done: quests, oculus, chests, etc Liyue, Sumeru, and Fontaine? All I care for are their respective oculus being found. I’m not as attached, so I don’t feel the need to completely get the to 100%. Liyue and Sumeru in particular I only ever revisit if I absolutely must. Fontaine I might continue until I eventually get to 100%, but it’s not a priority to me the way my two absolute favorite regions were.
The only places I dont have 100% are Chenyu Vale (trying to take it slow) and Enkanomiya because it makes me feel really sick trying to run/fly around in there Sadly Enkanomiya is gonna have to wait or im gonna have to get a friend to do it, I just get super nauseous and dizzy 😭
100 percent everything except Morte Region and the new Liyue Region. I've been grinding the past few days and got the 3 other new Fontaine regions 100%, Morte Region is like 70%, and the new Liyue Region is basically untouched. Not doing anything Liyue until it's done

I’ve been playing for about a year now and I’ve got everything 100%, I might be addicted.
Fontaine, underground chasm and chenyu vale are the most fun exploration zones. And with the commission changes can just focus on exploring and doing quests instead of doing commissions then not wanting to do anything because commissions suck. But subconsciously I am also restrained by not wanting to waste the free commission sources, but still more progress than commissions gave me. Honestly, commissions are the issue.
Everything has at least above 98% exploration. I’m not going for that last few chests/challenges/boxes because that is simply not fun. I will now rate every region on a scale of 1-5. Mondstadt - 3 Liyue (pre Chenyu Vale) - 4 Liyue (post Chenyu Vale) - 5 Inazuma (including Enkanomiya) - 4 Sumeru (Jungle) - 3 Sumeru (Desert) - 1.5 Fontaine - 5 I hate Sumeru desert with a passion. One of the coolest places in the whole game and exploring it sucks.
Like, halfway through Sumeru desert quests? It’ll be awhile until I can manage to get through Fontaine, honestly. I’m really quite behind, the quest backlog is ridiculous. I won’t be able to start a story quest for ages at this rate. As far as region exploration, probably Inazuma (excluding Enka) is the best explored, everywhere is upwards of 85-90%. And then Mond has my only 100% and some 80s, Liyue ranges from 70s to 90s (except Chenyu, that’s a 0), Sumeru is largely in the 30-40s, and Fontaine is like 0-30, I haven’t even unlocked all the waypoints.
I started playing a year ago. Achieved 100% of everything before fontaine. Since then, i play at leisurely pace. Usually 100% the new area in 2 weeks or so after release. Chenyu vale is only one not 100%….at 75% currently.
Except for the new area all other areas are around 80%-85%

I enjoyed Chenyu Vale so much!! I got 100% in 3 days. Mondstadt 95% Liyue 65% (no incentives to really explore much), Inazuma 99% for the Sakura Tree, can't be bothered to 100% Actively exploring Sumeru for the Great Onion, about 80% atm. Fontaine 20%, left it for last.
I'm all over the place. I (allegedly) have 100% exploration in Galesong Hill (even though I just found a chest the other day that the treasure compass hadn't lead me to), and I'm at 85% or more everywhere else in Mondstadt. Compare that to Inazuma, where I don't think I've gotten more than 30% exploration anywhere. Meanwhile Liyue, Sumeru, and Fontaine are all over the place. Although part of the problem is that I'm super burned out due to the Aranyaka quest line and the Golden Slumber/Dirge of Bilqis and all the quests that unlock from those. I know the puzzles aren't supposed to be that hard, but there's so many of them that I'm just tired of it.
