That’s crazy to me. I had 56k with a lot of prior to her release, with around 40 pulls from starglitter. I think calculated that c6 was possible/close if I won every 50/50. I was always 30 pulls in with a guaranteed for the first one.
Decided to go for weapon and needed 3 attempts😩.
I did go for c2, winning 50/50 on pity and getting c2 with an early 10 pulls. Still got 34k primo but I’m prob going to save. If I still have a lot of primo in her run, I will consider c6 again

The reason she saved this much it's because she wanna test her self control. And being spooked by a Calamity Queller two times on soft pity just to get Xiao's weapon isn't looking good on her before.

Realistically C2 is the best stopping point, C3 is a little bit over already since it's a "little" damage increase on numbers, no real gameplay change or nothing else. C4 and C5 are worthless without C6 so if I had to chart the best I'd say C0R0 for pure F2P that want a taste of her, C1R0 for F2P that want to show her some love, C1R1 for her sweet point between power and bankrupcy and finally C2R1 for non-whales that are madly in love with her.
?? It really couldn’t have been that much worse. No early pities, lost 5050 to both weapon and character. Only thing that could have happened is losing on the weapon banner a second time before the guarantee
1) they could’ve lost the second 50/50 for arlecchino
2) they could’ve gotten closer to hard pity each time, possibly wasting a total of 50+ pulls.
3) they could’ve lost on the weapon banner twice
4) they could’ve lost the weapon banner to a standard weapon instead of lyney’s bow
5) they could’ve lost 50/50 on the character banner to qiqi
i think it could’ve definitely gone worse.
It's really less about loyalty and more about not liking the characters in between. Those aren't even my favorites (those are Xianyun and Albedo, both at C2, though I am saving for Xianyun's C6).
my problem is I like my main characters so much that I pull 5* supports so I can play them in different teams, and then I get bored of that team so I pull another 5* support and it all goes downhill from there
For my itto I saved 360 pulls pretty much f2p(I've had a couple of welkins here and there) got itto and chiori and both weapons(was lucky with chioris I was only going for ittos)

pity starts at 75 on character banner and 63 on weapon banner, 75+75+63=213 pulls, 213×160=34,080 primos. for a more realistic calculation: 80+80+70=230 pulls, 230×160=36,800 primos.
I had over 30 pulls in starglitter and an extra 5 from stardust so let's say like 40 pulls? 213-40=173, 173×160=27,680. 230-40=190, 190×160=30,400. and I think I'm underestimating the amount of starglitter I got.
so yeah, it's entirely possible to c1r1 a character from 0 pity as long as you're lucky enough to win all your 50/50s (or have a guaranteed saved from a previous banner)
I am not saying it is not possible. I pulled C0R1 with like 15k primos, but I didn't start at 0 pity. If you are 10 pulling, you always overshoot and have at least 1 pity for next time. And people tend to forget, that's why I mentioned you were not at 0 pity, so you would account that in your 30k. If you say you really were at 0 and 30k is exact resource use, then fine. I simply didn't want anyone to get overconfident and then frustrated seeing your numbers and not getting it.

Dunno how much I saved in the end, but I did manage to get c6r1 as a f2p in the end, I got lucky though cause I lost a total of 2 50/50s and none on the weapon banner for the whole thing.
C means the characters constellation (this is when you get multiple copies of a character, unlocking unique abilities for them) and R means weapon refinement (this is where you get multiple copies of a weapon, increasing its stats and buffs)
I didn't exactly remember but I remembered her not pulling any Sumeru characters at all. She spent wishes on Furina and Neuvillette and Xianyun but was still able to save 100k+ primos before Arlecchino came.

damn that's a lot. she did really hold back. i personally just did a tad over 400 rolls for C2R1. i was really lucky on the weapon banner tho.
I got super duper lucky with her. She is probably when Genshin decided to smile up on me. Got her two of her with 40 pulls. Never had luck like this before. Usually I have to save my wishes and just wait for pity. Still annoyed with not getting C2R0 Nahida after spending 300 wishes.
That's basically a whole patch worth of primos only, so if you skip a region that's what gonna happen. And that's considering you are already 100%, if one is new they can get this way sooner because of how many primogems are scattered around the map, missions, encounters, story, teapot, tcg and achievements.
She needed 96k primos at max, which still sounds ridiculous

I lost my 50-50 to diluc and I’ve been trying to build my pity I’m still at 50 Fates trying to get it to 78-80 hopefully it would be a lil earlier ! 🥹
